We enjoyed our stay here for our 25th wedding anniversary. Shame that wasn’t highlighted even though I mentioned it when booking. A ‘congratulations’ or a card or something would have been attentive. The receptionist was on auto pilot and rushed which didn’t feel welcoming. Other than that it was lovely, the room, the view, the food at the Jetty, the waiters.

A great place to stop for coffees or breakfast, on this occasion we stayed here as our usual accommodation was booked.. a great experience, we liked the versatility of the self catering option. We ate there for breakfast and evening meals which were well priced and tasty meals. An excellent location and excellent staff. Rooms were a little tired but overall clean and perfect for a bolt trip to Cornwall.

Room was large and comfortable (although floors were creaky). It’s an old property so always a few maintenance jobs evident. Location is excellent next to the harbour. Staff pretty good, sometimes a bit busy to give full attention. Breakfast was very good.

The Farmer’s Arms is a lovely pub with 4 rooms above. We had a twin room for 2 nights and was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately the internet was virtually non existent, which I understand is an issue in the area, but caused difficulties planning. Car park is huge and great location as 5 minutes drive to Harlyn Bay Beach and 10 minutes to Padstow. Highly recommend The Golden Lion for dinner in Padstow and absolutely was a hidden culinary gem 💎
