Wir haben das Hotel für einen Zwischenstop für eine Nacht auf der Heimreise besucht. Das Dreibettzimmer war super, die Betten hervorragend, das Bad ebenfalls supersauber und nagelneu; auch das Frühstück, ”eigentlich” ein Buffet, corona-mäßig aber vom Personal nach Wunsch auf ein Tablett zusammengestellt, war ebenfalls vielfältig, lecker und ohne jede Beanstandung. Lediglich das Abend-Restaurant war (geöffnet bis 22.30, warme Küche bis 21.45) nichts besonderes. Aufgrund unserer späten Ankunft konnten wir ”gerade noch” essen, haben aber das Gefühl gehabt, den verfrühten Feierabend irgenwie zu stören; auch sind fast 70 Euro für drei Teller lauwarme Nudeln und drei Getränke angesichts eines Zimmerpreises inklusive Frühstück von 120 Euro für dieselben drei Personen im Verhältnis viel zu teuer, zumal man ”unter Tage” ohne Fenster in einem quasi-Business-Tagungs-Hotel-Restaurant sitzt. Das soll kein Vorwurf sein, aber das Abendessen war schlicht und einfach 20 Euro zu teuer, alles andere war super. Kostenlose Parkplätze und auch videoüberwachte Tiefgarage sind im Preis inbegriffen, das ist wiederum sehr anständig.

I stayed for 4 nights, booked directly with the hotel for best price, in July 2023, in a single room (no 104). I arrived at about 10 am at the hotel and it was great that the room was ready and I could check in so early in the day, have a shower and then head off to explore Padova. First of all, my room was not a typical single room in an Italian hotel, that is tiny, but a regular one, which was a big plus. The bed was not a double, but not a narrow single bed either, somewhat one in the middle, which was great. The room was properly furnished, if basic. The bathroom was also large by Italian standards, but with a major flaw: the shower was positioned right in the middle of the bathroom, and cordoned off by a plastic shower curtain that was frankly below any standards, not to mention a 4* hotel. Towels were of good quality. I appreciated and used the minibar, safe, AC, TV with decent selection of channels. Both room and bathroom were kept very clean, and the room efficiently serviced every day. Breakfast was good and varied, espresso provided by request. I chose this hotel for my stay in Padua due to its position, right in front of the railway station. It was very useful as I used it as a base to do daily trips by train to Venice and Verona using the fast (RV=Reggio Veloce) and cheap Italian railway (Trenitalia). You can also include Vicenza. Given its proximity to the station there are a lot of less than desirable people hanging around the hotel, mostly immigrants from Africa, but I never felt inconvenienced or threatened in any way. Pay great attention though while in the station while acquiring your train tickets from the automatic ticket machines. The hotel is also very well placed to explore Padova since the tram station for the tram journey to the historic centre, St Anthony’s church (“Il Santo”), and Il Prato is right in front of the hotel. Tram tickets office also just across the street. I was also somehow worried about the noise from the street given that my room was overlooking the main road in front of the station, but the sound insulation was very good, did not have problems with traffic noise. All in all, this is good value for money hotel for exploring Padua, and Veneto at large, I warmly recommend it. If you fly in/ out from Treviso airport (TSF) there is also a direct bus from the bus station located not far from the railway station, at a cheap fare.

I booked one hour before arrival, arrived late after a long trip and was starving - everything was closed, but the friendly front office team made kind suggestions where I could order food. Then the chef passed the lobby on his way home and asked if I wanted to eat. His team was still there, busy cleaning up and they quickly prepared me some delicious food, wow so friendly and kind - this is true hospitality from all members of the team and such an unusual caring experience. Thank you! Room and facilities are excellent, clean and nice. But it's always the people that make the real difference.

Air Conditioning blows warm. Not cold not cool, warm. Front desk informs you to play with the thermostat. Yep… still not working. Switched rooms to AC that was “working”. Same situation and later found many reviews stating the same. Obviously hotel looking to save $$ on thermostat settings. Additionally as American not one channel in English nor the ability to switch languages on the remote. Hotel fine for locals who are not needing Air Conditioner nor English speaking channels. Pass.

Bewertung betrifft Galileo Hotel, eigentliche Buchung war im Tower Tower Hotel, diese Bewertung dient zum. Nachvollziehen unserer Erfahrung. Wir waren eine Nacht hier auf der Durchreise nach Kroatien. Ich habe das Zimmer eigentlich letztes Jahr schon gebucht, musste dies aber zwecks Corona absagen/verschieben, worauf ich von dem Hotel einen Gutschein erhalten habe. Gebucht habe ich das Zimmer im Tower Hotel, auch dieses Jahr. Ein paar Tage vor Anreise erhielt ich eine Email dass das Tower Hotel geschlossen hat und ich umgebucht wurde auf Galileo. Im Tower Hotel habe ich für Sie Suite 135€ gezahlt, das Zimmer/die Suite in Galileo kostet allerdings nur 107€. Auch auf Nachfrage habe ich leider kein Geld zurück erhalten, was ich vom Service ziemlich schlecht fand, da ich nichts dafür kann dass das Tower Hotel geschlossen hat, warum weiß ich auch nicht. Ich fragte auch nach ob die Premier Suite frei ist, hätte natürlich den Aufpreis gezahlt, aber scheinbar war diese belegt. Schade. Das Zimmer war dennoch sehr schön und wir hatten eine Whirpool Badewanne die ich auch genutzt habe. Wir hatten eine riesige Terrasse, leider hatte diese weder Stühle noch Liegen, was bei diesem Wetter sehr schade ist. Diese war leider auch nicht sehr sauber, es lagen Zigaretten stümmel auf dem Boden und eine Bierflasche im Kübel. Im Hotel angekommen sind wir noch ins Restaurant gegangen, dieser Besuch ist uns leider nicht gerecht geworden. Es gab eine sehr kleine Speisekarte, keine Getränke karte und es fühlte sich eher an wie in einem Frühstücksraum in einer Jugendherberge. Der Kellner war sehr aufdringlich und ließ uns keine Zeit zu entscheiden was wir essen wollen. Ich schickte ihn 2 mal weg da wir noch am schauen waren, 2 Minuten später war er wieder da und ich hatte keine Nerven auf weitere Diskussion, da wir von der Fahrt (8std.) ziemlich ko waren. Wir haben dann das Steak gegessen, das war in Ordnung, leider war die Beilage ein Witz, war sehr sehr wenig, das könnte man ändern. Auf der Rechnung war wie üblich das Trinkgeld schon beinhaltet, was ich in dieser Location völlig überzogen fand. Danach sind wir in die Bar auf ein paar Drinks, sehr nette Bedienung und alles in allem ein schöner Abend. Geschlafen haben wir auch sehr gut, ich würde dieses Hotel auf jedenfall empfehlen, nur unter anderen Umständen nicht so wie es bei uns war, leider. Mit dieser Bewertung hoffe ich einfach das man etwas Service Orientierter handelt, und gerade bei einem solchen Preisunterschied, bei dem der Gast nichts für kann, einem entgegenkommt.

Dies ist eher ein Businesshotel mit Autobahnanschluß. Es kommt luxuriös rüber beim betreten der Lobby, ist aber schon ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Wir hatten ein riesen Zimmer mit 2 Bädern, gut isoliert, ohne Frühstück. Auch die Lobbybar haben wir nicht genutzt. Ein Taxi in die Altstadt kostet ca. 20 - 25 EUR/Strecke. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kostenfreies Parken auf dem Hotelparkplatz!

Abbiamo soggiornato, assieme a mia moglie, per due notti in questo hotel. La struttura, moderna e funzionale, si trova appena fuori Padova, in una zona residenziale, ad un paio di chilometri dall'uscita Padova Est dell'autostrada A4. E' in una posizione strategica perché si trova in un luogo tranquillo ma da cui ci si può muovere con molta facilità sia verso il centro di Padova che verso la vicina stazione di Busa di Vigonza per recarsi in treno a Venezia in appena 40 minuti. A tal proposito ringrazio il proprietario per gli ottimi consigli, sia per visitare Padova che per recarci a Venezia. La camera, di recente ristrutturazione, era molto ampia, moderna e perfettamente climatizzata. Il letto (king size) era veramente comodo e tutta la struttura splendidamente pulita. La colazione a buffet offre una grande varietà e qualità, sia per chi ama il dolce che per chi ama il salato. All'esterno c'è un'ampio parcheggio di proprietà, anche se non custodito. I titolari sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. Merita veramente!

Falls die Matratzen zu hart sind, kann man weichere Matratzen ordern, oder einen Topper. Zudem kann man verschiede Bettkissen probieren. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Das Hotel bietet nicht nur sehr viele unterschiedlich temperierte Pools an, sondern auch jede Menge Massagedüsen in den einzelnen Pools

This hotel is excellent. Location is next to the train station Staff are AMAZING.all friendly and the receptionist that helped me put a plaster on my cut head should be awarded a prize. The food is excellent ( this is probably due to the fact this hotel works with a lot of Italians -and Italians don't take well to bad food) My room was modern and super clean. Pool area also lovely and cleaned all day long. If I can give one thing I would personally suggest changing,it would be to write an indication to what the food is in the salad bar ( we all know what letus and tomatoes are, but lots of the other things don't look familiar to foreigners) a simple badge in front of the article will suffice. I would also recommend to RCI clients to read the T&Cs on Their booking as they have half board extra to add on . Great value for money for this class of hotel I recommend the full board as it's really worth it and the menu is different every day with high quality food and well cooked
