We had a fantastic week's stay here. A perfect combination of hotel facilities and apartment features in the room. We have two teenagers and the suite had plenty of space for us all. The addition of kitchen facilities was great for being able to prepare light meals when we didn't want to eat out. It was clean, tidy and the views across the pool to the lake were lovely. Breakfast was really good. We were always welcomed by a cheerful greeting and there was always a table available despite the hotel being very busy when we visited. A nice choice all of good quality, the hot chocolate and croissant with pistachio paste were particular favourites of ours. The pools were fantastic, we used them every day, even if just a quick visit after a day exploring. Again, always very clean and tidy with attentive lifeguards on duty. The loungers were the best we'd ever had at hotel pools and we never struggled to find some free whatever time of day. Having the choice of two pools with quite different atmospheres was great and we used both equally. We had a hire car for the duration of the holiday and the secure parking with roomy, numbered bays was really great for peace of mind. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. Only 15 min walk to the lake front and the choice of restaurants and bars. Only 5-10 minutes drive to large supermarkets. Being at the bottom of the lake so many places were easily accessible. We walked up to the castle one day which was a nice change of activity. Overall a fantastic place to stay, we would definitely return!

Enttäuschender Aufenthalt im Splendido Bay Luxury Spa Resort Wir hatten uns sehr auf unseren Aufenthalt im Splendido Bay Luxury Spa Resort gefreut, wurden jedoch leider enttäuscht. Die Anlage wirkt in vielen Bereichen heruntergekommen und entspricht nicht mehr dem Standard, den man von einem “Luxury” Resort erwarten würde. Der Pool war besonders enttäuschend: Das Wasser wirkte trüb, und an den Rändern hatten sich Algen angesetzt. Zudem waren die Terrassenbretter um den Pool herum locker und schienen nachzugeben, was ein erhebliches Sicherheitsrisiko darstellt. Die Zimmer sind ebenfalls in die Jahre gekommen. Der Wassertank der Kaffeemaschine hatte eklige Ablagerungen am Boden, und in der Dusche befand sich Schimmel in den Ecken. Die Fliesenfugen im Badezimmer waren stark verschmutzt, und der Waschtisch wirkte abgenutzt und ungepflegt. Leider ließ auch der Service zu wünschen übrig. Während einige Mitarbeiter freundlich waren, trafen wir auch auf unfreundliches Personal, das wenig Interesse an den Anliegen der Gäste zeigte. Es gab jedoch auch positive Aspekte: Als wir früh morgens abreisten, bekamen wir ein Frühstückspaket mit auf den Weg, und das Essen im Hotel war insgesamt gut. Insgesamt entspricht das Splendido Bay Luxury Spa Resort keineswegs dem, was man sich unter einem luxuriösen Aufenthalt vorstellt. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und können es leider nicht weiterempfehlen.
