The place is clean, sparse but clean since it’s new. The tv in the room was on but there was no remote control. Called the front desk and were told there were no remote controls, so we were stuck in a room with a tv on and no control nor physical buttons to turn it off. We asked the front desk to send technical support to help us turn off the tv. They said they will call us back. We ask for a bottle of wine as a courtesy, since there was no entertainment in the room, they offered 50% off for an overpriced bottle, that we didn’t accept. We waited until 3:00 am, no call and huge screen on a couple of feet away from the bed. We ended up unplugging the tv so we could get a little bit of sleep before hitting the road. In the morning we talked to the same front desk person. We said we should have a discount since we paid for a room with working amenities. She got flustered, said she couldn’t find anyone who could help us with the tv, she wrote down that we unplugged the tv, like if we had any other choice and said her manager will call us. No one call, we just received a full price charge for a room with a broken tv that kept us awake until 3:00am and complete lack of customer service.
