床很乾凈，樓下就有超市購物方便。窗户密閉效果不錯，窗外來來往往汽車聲很小。但隔壁打呼嚕聲、樓上地板上走路聲很響，半夜幾次被吵醒。衞生間洗臉池的冷熱水是兩個獨立龍頭，冰火兩重天。

We booked Newton House for a one night stay in Oxford. The B & B was very basic but clean. Beds comfortable and good location to city centre. Our main issue was the manager…he was extremely rude and unwelcoming. He made a lot of sarcastic comments and even took us to the office area to show us the mess that someone had left him. There was lots of rubbish, tins, dirty plates and cups. If I wasn't staying there with my husband I would not have felt comfortable staying at Newton House. I would’ve drove home. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day but that should not have impacted on our stay. I would not recommend this place

This is Oxford's best kept secret - a reasonably priced B&B which also is a short walk into the town centre. We have been coming here for over 20 years, & have stayed here nearly every time. Last year, we discovered that there is a nice little park about half a block from the B&B, a real haven with a lake and water fowl, redwood & pine trees, great place for a picnic or a walk around (apparently also swimming & tennis, etc)

We really enjoyed our stay at Newton House. We had a very comfy bed, the room was spotlessly clean, lovely shower and perfect location for the city! Our room was at the back (No. 10) and it was really quiet. We will definitely visit again, highly recommend!

Basic accommodation that met our needs for a faurly short stay. Staff were friendly and helpful but the place looks tired in places (shower worked but is very small) and there was an unpleasant odour in the bathroom. All essentials are available but don't expect any thing of high quality or luxury. The bed was adequate but the pillows were rather flat.

Small room although it was quiet. Blind was faulty, we had to use a coat and scarf to block out the light. The house is close to town, probably around 5/10 minutes walk but it’s on a busy main road. The en-suite was modern and clean but the room requires a new wardrobe and lacks the finishing touches. There is a car park at the rear which was ok for us but I would imagine it gets a struggle in busier times. I wouldn’t stay there again as we prefer a bit more up market.

This is a lovely place to stay while visiting Oxford. The rooms are very cosy and with beautiful wallpaper on one wall. Our second time in this house and in the same room. 10 mins walk to the town centre, or you can use a frequent bus service with a stop just outside the door. Recommended 😍
