Schöne geräumige Zimmer, gutes Bett. Aber etwas sehr bizarr festgestellt ; das Hotel hat einen gleichen Boden und zwei Stockwerke oben. Die t****e Stockwerke unter dem Flachdeck und ist grundsätzlich die wärmste, aber nur auf dieser Stockwerke war keine Klimaanlage vorhanden. Für den Rest der Unterkunft ist gut. Das Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet, das heißt der Koch. Das Personal scheint eine Bande von Zombies. Unerfahren und unqualifiziert. Im Gegenteil, beim Empfang war alles professionell. Frühstück: Wir hatten schon bessere Fletchers beim Frühstück. Ein Mädchen für einen 50-tal Gäste. Sie mussten sich selbst entsorgen, wenn Sie einen Platz wollten. Das Frühstücks Mädchen wurde um 8 Uhr morgens kurz ausgebildet und stand danach allein. Es gab genug Essen, wenn Sie sehr geduldig waren. Natürlich kann das auf bestimmte Bedingungen wie Krankheit liegen, was hier wahrscheinlich der Fall war. Aber Sie sind dann auf dem Weg, um mit zwei auf den Bildschirm zu schauen? Es ist ein schönes Hotel in einer wunderschönen Gegend.

Mijn vrouw en ik hebben overnacht in Hotel Central in Roosendaal, en dat allemaal dankzij een onvoorziene situatie. Toen we op een zondagnacht gestrand waren op Roosendaal Centraal vanwege een storing bij de NS, besloten we om de nacht door te brengen in dit hotel. En wat een geluk was dat! Bij aankomst werden we vriendelijk begroet door de nachtportier, die ons meteen welkom liet voelen. Na een kort overleg met zijn collega, konden we nog een kamer boeken. De prijs was zeer redelijk, vooral gezien de situatie, en we waren aangenaam verrast door de kwaliteit van de kamer. De kamer was ruim, comfortabel en brandschoon. We konden echt even tot rust komen na de onverwachte wending van onze avond. Wat ons het meest opviel, was de vriendelijkheid van het personeel bij de receptie. Ze waren attent, behulpzaam en deden er alles aan om ons verblijf zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Hun positieve houding maakten echt een verschil voor ons. Het voelde alsof we bij vrienden verbleven in plaats van in een hotel. De volgende ochtend werden we getrakteerd op een heerlijk ontbijt. Er was een ruime keuze aan verse broodjes, beleg, fruit en warme dranken. Al met al kunnen we Hotel Central in Roosendaal ten zeerste aanbevelen. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen tot het moment van vertrek, werden we behandeld als gewaardeerde gasten. De vriendelijke mensen, de betaalbare prijs en de kwaliteit van de kamer maakten onze onverwachte overnachting tot een positieve ervaring. Onze oprechte dank aan het team van Hotel Central!

The Bastion Hotel in roosendaal was quite an experience, in good ways and bad ways. I have to admit the cleaning schedule and some of the workers were not what was expected of a hotel, the food was wrong when we ordered it, and we had several issues with room keys not working. However. There were three members of staff that made our visit absolutely incredible. Dave, Ravi, and Jordi are amazing. The level of customer service we received compared to elsewhere in the Netherlands was exemplary. Any problem we had was quickly resolved. They met us as professionals, and 12 days later we left as friends. After 10 hours work in a different country, we were greeted with pleasant smiles, friendly faces and engaging conversation, which after a long day is exactly what you need. The customer service provided by these three employes was absolutely next level and I will be sure to visit the Bastion next time just to see these three guys. Thank you for making my stay as good as you could. Big respect.

Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, sehr groß, sauber und sauber, das Restaurant ist auch sehr lecker.

I travelled as part of a shearings 4 night coach trip. We arrived late into the evening thankfully check in was very quick and painless. The entranceway to the hotel is lovely and has a pleasant outdoor seating area, although mainly used by the smokers I had a room on the 2nd floor with a nice view of windmill. My room was spacious, although fairly basic, but it had everything I needed. This included a kettle, coffee maker, and fridge. Unfortunately, only paper cups available which weren't replaced for the 4 days so I had to rinse these out. The beds were comfortable enough and the room had 2 chairs and a table. There was a lift. No issues with the room Unfortunately the same can't be said about the rude staff in the restaurant. On the bus we were asked if we wanted to book an evening meal this was 3 courses, I didn't want 3 courses. No other options available so that night we tried to just go for a meal in the restaurant. The older gentleman shouted at us saying we should have booked via the coach driver we tried to explain we didn't want 3 courses but was told to go away. Needless to say we walked into town just a couple of minutes away and had a lovely meal. If they don't want to serve the burgers which are displayed on the tables then don't!!! Thankfully there is an Aldi nearby and the lovely town with a couple of food options is only around a 10 minute walk away. Although the breakfast was lovely I really can't see us returning or recommending this hotel. I would suggest going somewhere with nicer staff who actually want to give good service

When we first walked in, we were greeted by Susan at the front desk, she was quite lovely and friendly. She set our expectations for the rest of the stay. The spa was nice but it was expensive. We found a deal online £19.99 for a couple. They offered a bathrobe and flip flops at the front for a price. You have the option to use your towel as well which we did, the slippers were sold for £8! We found cheap flip flops at a store near by called Action. Only £1.25! It's a nude spa so be prepared for that. They have a jacuzzi which the water is only luke warm, not hot, they have a swimming pool, 2 saunas, 1 steam room, 2 foot baths, infrared heaters and a room where you can put salt on your body and rinse it off, never seen that before. We went early in the day and it wasn't very busy so that was nice. Our room was beautiful, clean and big and we had a king sized bed. I made a video on YouTube if you want to see it. My channel is called Jules Reviews. We tried the breakfast buffet for one day. It was £15 per person which I thought was overpriced. They had scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, pancakes, bacon, cold cuts, different cheese slices, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, fruit and fruit juices. Coffee and tea is included of course, they have the machine so you can make a latte or cappuccino. The lady at the restaurant seemed grumpy, she was old and maybe bitter? Maybe she hated her job? Or maybe she didn't like us because we spoke only English and she was Dutch, not sure. Another encounter with staff I had, was when I called downstairs asking for recommendations on where to park in Amsterdam. We're tourists and this is a hotel, I thought most hotels knew about their country and had recommendations. The guy who answered was very rude, he said no I don't live there to which I responded Oh so you don't have any recommendations for tourists? He could have been polite and professional and just said no sorry I have no idea or try Trip Advisor or something! He just hung up on me! A hotel clerk hung up on a paying guest! Wow. I wonder if this is the norm in this country? If that was my employee, he would have been fired on the spot. Needless to say I definitely don't want to come back here for that reason alone.

The hotel is located in a beautifully renovated building in the center of Breda. Stylish with many authentic elements but with a modern twist. If you come by car, you can choose the Valet service or park your car in the practically nearby parking De Barones yourself. The parking garage has several charging stations for electric cars. We arrived at the restaurant side of the hotel looking for the entrance. An attentive employee saw us and asked if we were looking for the hotel. He took over our suitcase and escorted us to the front desk to check-in. See, now that's hospitality. The ladies at the front desk were also very friendly and welcomed me as a Platinum member with a nice room upgrade. My room on the 5th floor was very spacious — lovely big bed, separate toilet, spacious bathroom with separate bath and walk-in shower. Besides a bottle of Holy water, there is also a Nespresso machine for a cup of coffee. Too bad the bar was closed in the evening, and we had to go out for drinks. They served breakfast in the former chapel. Found that space is somewhat claustrophobic as you are locked in and can't see outside.

Nach einem kurzen Aufenthalt im August haben wir uns wieder für ein Wochenende in diesem Hotel entschieden. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, man fühlt sich wohl in diesem Gebäude mit Geschichte. Ruhige Lage, schöne Terrasse, alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ist genau richtig, die Auswahl ist üppig genug für den großen Hunger. Die Zimmer waren jedesmal sehr bequem, und die blaue Farbe der Wände wirkt beruhigend. Sehr edel dekoriert.

Unsere Erfahrungen mit De Jonckheer waren sehr positiv, aber leider erfüllte unser jüngster Aufenthalt nicht ganz unsere Erwartungen. Bei der Buchung hatten wir speziell ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett statt zwei separaten Betten gefordert. Trotz der freundlichen Empfangs erhalten wir ein Zimmer mit zwei freien Betten. Als wir das an die Rezeption meldeten, erhielten wir eine unfreundliche Reaktion von einem Büro hinter dem Schrank, wo uns gesagt wurde, dass eine Upgrade nicht möglich war, weil sie voll reserviert waren. Dies war enttäuschend, vor allem, weil wir diese Anfrage einige Tage vor dem Eingang ohne Gegenreaktion übermittelt hatten, und wir wurden gefragt, wie spät das Frühstück gefahren ist. Wir gab an, um 09.00u / 09.30u zum Frühstück zu essen, was notiert wurde. Am nächsten Morgen kamen wir um 09.30u in den Frühstücksraum, aber bis unsere Überraschung war man schon dabei. Glücklicherweise hat eine behutsame Mitarbeiterin ihr Bestes getan, um uns noch ein Frühstück zu versorgen, was sie während unseres Aufenthalts zu einem Lichtpunkt machte. Beim Auschecken waren wir verzögert, weil der Empfangsmann bemüht war, eine Telefongespräche über eine Restaurantbuchung zu führen. Ihre Kommunikation klang ziemlich abnehmbar, was nicht zu einer positiven Erfahrung beigetragen hat. Ein anderer Gast, der sich einloggen wollte, wurde ein Formular mit dem begleitenden Text ”Füllen Sie das aus” verschoben. Wir blieben im Hotel wegen der Ausreise eines Familienmitglieds und hatten also ein bisschen schnell. Leider wurden wir nicht effizient geholfen. Wir haben also letztlich beschlossen, online zu checken und wir gingen ohne einen freundlichen Willkommen der Rezeption. Zusammenfassend, obwohl der Jonckheer ein sehr schönes und komfortables Hotel ist, wo wir gerne wohnen, Es gibt eindeutig Möglichkeiten zur Verbesserung, insbesondere im Bereich der Kundendienstleistung an der Rezeption.
