Masseria Panareo

The most beautiful place I have ever stayed- relaxing on the terrace overlooking rolling olive groves to the sea. Swimming pool (we were the only ones there) friendly high quality service. Rooms were styled as an old country farmhouse. Porta Badisco nearby worth a visit

Liked · Wow wow wow is all I can say about this property, the owner Alessandro and the team. Phenomenal grounds. Cosy, super clean rooms (just a few ants) - but we are in a Masseria, modern key access and on site parking. 6 mins drive from the bustling Otranto. As vegetarians, they tried to accommodate us with more non meat breakfast options. Dinner for those who eat meat and fish - you must try it. Even for my sister and I, they created a 2 course meal for our final night which was delicious. Alessandro takes care of his guests, and I’m grateful he and his team went out of their way to organise a bottle of Prosecco and a cake with candle for my sisters birthday. I would highly recommend this hotel. it’s also close to the most beautiful beaches. PS the tennis court was a massive bonus. Minor Drawbacks: - better signage leading to the Masseria. the lights are not enough. - breakfast to finish at 1030am had to keep the tea/ coffee until the last guest leaves. - ants in the room and travelled into the suitcase. if you are going to Otranto, you MUST stay here !!
