Smoking area for smoking guests stinks the whole lobby as you walk through reception to the lift, which is a shame. It is a non smoking hotel.
Close to the sightseeing spots and about 10 mins walk to JR Station and supermarket.

The staff at the reception speaks fluent English, which is good. Sth dramatic happened after I checked in. Somehow my suitcase cannot be unlocked,though I knew the key number. So I had to call reception for help, luckily they do have the tool to open the suitcase, but I was told to wait because someone else were using it and I was supposed to be called after the reception got the tool. Waited whole night long, with no phone call, and had to check out the next morning with my broken suitcase. So if you find your suitcase cannot be opened, go find reception immediately or u might not get the chance to use the tool, haha

I booked a dbl room during winter trip and didn't want to haul my luggage in the freezing snow. Very convenient and literally acrosss the street from otaru station. Room is a bit old and small but I don't mind. Bathroom is clean. Towel is clean. Pillow is a bit small. Onsen was great. Lobby served fresh grounded coffee all day and night. 1 min walk to Lawson for late night cravings.

Very nice hotel, the lobby is big and nice, allow us to check in at 2 pm. There are some reception staff that can speak mandarin as well. We booked a room for 3 people with 3 single beds. The room is bigger than expected and the washroom is more spacious as compared to others I have stayed in before.
Pros is near the Otaru Canal, from the hotel just walk straight all the way will reach Otaru canal. Opposite the hotel there is a Lawson, convenient to buy stuff.
Cons is slightly far away from JR station and you will need to walk about 10 mins.

Zunächst einmal sollten Sie wissen, dass es ziemlich weit vom Zentrum von Otaru entfernt ist.
Der Blick auf das Otaru-Meer vom Zimmer aus ist jedoch so schön, dass man diese Mängel vergessen lässt.
Es lässt sich nicht leugnen, dass das Hotel in puncto Design usw. alt ist.
In meinem Fall mag ich Hotels mit klassischem Flair wie dieses, daher hatte ich keine Probleme.
Oh, aber eine Sache, die mich überrascht hat, war, dass selbst 3-Sterne-Business-Hotels nicht auf jeder Etage eine Mikrowelle haben.
Genauer gesagt befindet es sich in der Lobby im ersten Stock. Wenn Sie etwas in Ihrem Zimmer heizen möchten, gehen Sie in den ersten Stock und fragen Sie das Lobbypersonal.
Sie müssen fragen: „Bitte erhitzen Sie das für mich.“
Das war ein kleiner Fehler, deshalb habe ich 1 Punkt abgezogen.
Aber ansonsten ist es direkt mit dem Bahnhof Otaru Chikko verbunden und das Einkaufszentrum Aeon Mall liegt 30 Sekunden von der Hoteltür entfernt.
Sehr empfehlenswert für diejenigen, die das Zentrum von Otaru vollständig erkundet haben oder starke Beine haben.

Sehr wertvolles Zimmer, das Hotel ist kostenlos an der Transferstation, zwei Minuten zu Fuß vom Aussichtsplattform von Jiangjin entfernt, das Wetter war auch sehr gut, ich sah die schöne Landschaft. Die Rezeption hat auch den Zimmertyp kostenlos aktualisiert, die Einstellung ist auch sehr gut, das Zimmer ist sehr groß, der Rezeption-Stil ist sehr groß, es gibt drei Zimmer, die neu sind, sobald wir in die Tür eintreten. Unser Zimmer kann die Berg- und Meereslandschaft gleichzeitig sehen, und es gibt eine private Suppe, und wenn Sie noch kommen, werden Sie weiter bleiben!

Wir sind mit diesem ryokan wunderbar und hilfreich. Sie holten uns in schwerem Schnee auf dem JR-Station und begrüßten uns mit warmem Tee am Eingang. :) Das Abendessen und das Frühstück waren perfekt und wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit im privaten Onsen! Würde sicherlich jedem empfehlen.

Hotel facilities were dated but mostly well-maintained. After spending 2 nights in Sapporo's small hotel room, it was good to have more space to spread out.
Outdoor hot spring was fantastic and the onsen is open till late night - giving guests enough time to enjoy it even after a full day out.
If you've a rental car, the location poses no problem. There is a large, 24-hour market nearby and it's only a quick 15-min drive to Otaru.
The staff were kind and provided ready assistance whenever we needed it.
Only issue I had was noise from the room above us. For some reason, the guests were running around in the room and it was very noisy.
Overall, it's a quaint, old-fashioned hotel with good ambience.

FFahimnazeriIch habe dieses Gasthaus für seine Nähe zum Bahnhof und große Wert für das Geld gewählt, und ich bin so froh, dass ich es getan habe! Obwohl es ein wenig von der Stadt Sapporo entfernt ist, machte der kurze 2-minute Spaziergang zum Bahnhof einen Brise um. Die Einheit hatte alles, was ich brauchte, einschließlich einer Waschmaschine und Kochelemente, die wirklich meinen Aufenthalt bequem machten. Ich werde definitiv dieses Haus nochmal für meine nächste Winterreise reservieren!

AAnanasGute Lage für diejenigen, die mit einem Auto kommen, großzügige kostenlose Parkplätze. In der Nähe von Maxvalu, Daiso und einem Drogengeschäft, Otaru Museum und Train-related Dinge und auch Fischmarkt(wohl schön), neben einem pakistanischen halal Restaurant. Nicht so weit vom Otaru-Kanal, kann für diejenigen, die ihre Schritte zählen jeden Tag gehen.

ZZLStayed at Sho Inn for 1 night in Otaru. It’s a little out of the way from the Otaru station if you do not drive, but they offer shuttle service to the Otaru Canal and Otaru station when you check out! The host Hideshi was incredibly kind, even going the extra mile to bring my neck pillow, which I had accidentally left in the accommodation after check out, to the Otaru station at my preferred time that evening. It was a gesture testament of the great hospitality of the Japanese. Would definitely recommend this place especially if you’re a solo traveller / prefer your own private space instead of going to those hostels with double deckered beds and curtains!

Benachteiligung: Entfernung von der Stadt, umgeben von einem großen Hotel, das Restaurantdienstleistungen anbietet. Das Zimmer verfügt über keine Windsurfgeräte und keine Wärmewasserbereiter (Wärmesur im Rezeptor, der Korridor hat einen gemeinsamen Trinkwasserbereiter, der warmes Wasser bietet). Das Zimmer hat keinen Tisch und ist nicht bequem. Die angebotenen Zimmertypen sind nicht dieselben wie die Trip.com-Beschreibungen (keine Sofa).

Wenn Sie etwas nicht verstehen, ist es einfach, sie zu fragen! Ganz zu schweigen davon, wo ich wohne, ich bin nur wegen des guten Aussehens dorthin gegangen! Es ist wirklich nachdenklich, warm und schön! Wenn es schneit, können Sie den Schnee im Hof vom Zimmer aus sehen. Im Frühling, Sommer und Herbst sollte es eine andere Landschaft sein! Als ich um diese Zeit nach Otaru fahre, schneit es bereits! Es ist sehr praktisch, vom JR-Bahnhof Otaru zu kommen und mit dem Bus direkt vor die Tür zu fahren! Wenn Sie zum Tengu-Berg fahren, können Sie ihn mit dem Bus in einer halben Stunde von der Tür aus erreichen! Schlafen auch sehr bequem! Kostenloses Wasser und Kaffee sind vorhanden! Sie können alles in der Mikrowelle verwenden! Alles in allem werde ich bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder hingehen😘

GGuest UserIch habe vier Mädchen benutzt. Das ist ein Apartment-Stil-Zimmer, so dass ich das Gefühl, miteinander zu leben probieren. Das Zimmer ist auch sehr sauber, sehr großzügig und sehr gut.
Mitte März kamen die Würmer ins Zimmer, vier Frauen konnten nicht gefangen werden, und der Lieferant lachte.

It’s hard to find the house green as well and was only informed the access code after a while. But check out time was good. Beware of the snow as our car was buried in snow the next day.
