HG la Molina

This was our third stay at HG La Molina in the Catalan Pyrenees. Excellent location. If you bring your own gear & have ski passes, you are on the slopes in 20 minutes from your hotel room. Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, water pressure is good, ample closet space, views to the mountains & slopes. Breakfast buffet is good (fresh fruits, sliced meats, cheeses, yogurt, cereals...) with made to order eggs available. There are 3 ski schools within 2 minutes of the hotel. Ski rental & ski passes (2 different locations but close to each other) are a 3 minute walk. There is a small grocery store 3 minutes walking from the hotel. There are 3 ski snack bars near the ski rental/ski lift passes location. You have access to green, blue, red, black slopes. Other slopes are a short drive from hotel. Hotel can get busy but the staff is friendly & will sort out most things you need.

We had a great room however whoever was making the kids meals did not give quality whatsoever Nor did they care ….!!!! Lamb bones with little meat really for the price u can do better especially for the children as most places do …..The food in the restaurant nearby was really good in comparison at the same price.

Average hotel, rooms are tired and breakfast mediocre. Hotel recommended Traca ski school. We didnt go with them as they were badly organised. We recommend escola la molina instead. Reception staff polite.
