We ended up at the Daytona Grande after the Hilton Oceanfront overbooked and we were on our way with no place to stay! Admittedly not the safest, but I had to book this place while driving from the Orlando airport and just looking for something that wasn’t a total dive but still decently priced without a ton of extra fees. No free breakfast here which is something I especially appreciate as a family of 6, but in this case it was just me and my teenage son in town for an archery championship. After the highly stressful day of travel we had, the Grande was like a little slice of Heaven! It was clean, quiet, and beautiful. We decided after having to skip lunch with flight delays and all that, we just wanted a good meal and a good bed and we got exactly that. My son and I split truffle fries to start, the crusted crab filet, and beignets for dessert. All were wonderful (and we’re from Dallas where there is no shortage of excellent food) and enjoyed Oceanside on the dimly lit quiet patio. My only criticism is that the tables should be turned perpendicularly to the ocean and hotel so that everyone at the table gets a view of both rather than one facing a wall while the other faces the ocean. Rooms were nicely decorated, had comfortable, intuitive lighting, handy USB plugs, and most importantly REALLY COMFORTABLE BEDS! We have a Tempurpedic at home so my sleep is usually pretty abysmal at hotels. Now, this wasn’t as comfy as home, but I slept hard and woke without being sore since the bed was genuinely comfortable. My only complaints about the room were that the window sheers, while stylish, really gave no privacy at all, so if you wanted privacy you had to sacrifice light. Water pressure wasn’t great and the bathroom needed more towel bars and hooks. This would’ve been way more of a nuisance with the whole family, but they also came midday and restocked towels and made up the beds, which we see less and less of these days, even at nice hotels in the name of being “green”. But it was spacious and clean and otherwise nicely equipped. Elevators were fast and never held us up. Beach access from the elevator was nice as we didn’t have to walk through the lobby in swimsuits. Parking was slightly inconvenient being caddy corner across the street, but not bad at all. We considered but didn’t try room service mainly due to price and unknown wait (when we had tournament times to consider) but the little shop/cafe in the lobby was great and convenient and priced about as you’d expect (pricey, but not too ridiculous). We got coffee and breakfast sandwiches both days. I think the biggest issue with this place is the visibility. It’s tall to be sure so you’re not going to miss it, but the entrance and signage is on the far side and behind a little aqua building (I think called Sand Dunes) which had to be apartments or a teeny hotel that I can only assume refused to sell to the Grande in development so the Grande built around it. It keeps it from having the opulent entrance that the Hilton does

The gentleman name DeWayne, the front desk guy at check in, greeted us very well. The room is comfortable and made for many pleasant night's stays. It is the newest hotel at the exit & the customer service overall is great. The breakfast is awesome. Corey the breakfast guy is pleasant as well; open til 10 am. Overall a well run hotel. All the staff were exceptional overall. We will be back.

Sehr zufrieden mit der Sauberkeit, die meisten Angestellten waren sehr freundlich Das Frühstückspersonal war super nett, es gab einen, der nachts am Schreibtisch arbeitete, der eindeutig nicht da sein wollte und eine schlechte Einstellung hatte, das Frühstück war in Ordnung, ich wünschte, sie hätten etwas mehr zu tun? Angebot, aber es war genug, um Sie für den Tag in Schwung zu bringen, der Pool wurde meinen Bedürfnissen entsprochen, aber es gab keine Handtücher für den Pool ohne zu fragen, die Lage war gut, nicht zu viel Verkehr direkt an der Daytona Speedway und am Flughafen und eine kurze 13? Minuten oder so von Daytona Beach war auch schön, dass es ein Einkaufszentrum auf der anderen Straßenseite gab, obwohl ich es während meines Aufenthalts nicht besuchen konnte. Ich habe den Aufenthalt genug genossen, um einen zusätzlichen Tag zu buchen.

Das Quality Inn befindet sich in einer tollen Lage. Die Vordertafel Dame war freundlich, das Frühstück war sehr gut. Alle Mitarbeiter, mit denen wir in Kontakt kamen, waren nett und effizient. Das Hotel war sauber. Die einzige Beschwerde war, dass das Zimmer sehr gedämpft, Teppich, Blätter, Handtücher war. Meine Manns Hut war am nächsten Morgen nass. Wir blieben, weil wir spät geprüft haben, aber es war unbehaglich. Ich bin ein Quality Inn Fan & ich weiß, dass die Feuchtigkeit gerade jetzt hoch ist, so vielleicht war es es. Das würde mich nicht davon abhalten, es wieder zu versuchen, weil alles andere groß war.

We want to thank you Delta Daytona for being PET FREE! (Getting harder each day to find a hotel where I don't have to worry about sitting or sleeping where dirty dog bottoms had lain). This is a well managed hotel. VERY CLEAN rooms. Stayed in room 807 with a GREAT VIEW. Balconies have 2 chairs + small table. Beds were comfortable because they were NOT rock hard. Parking was easy; this hotel has use of a lot across the street (in an empty ***** plaza) for overflow parking. Good continental breakfast! My hungry husband was very happy with the delicious oatmeal (blueberries & brown sugar on top) + blueberry muffin, juice, coffee. Oatmeal was not watery or runny but firm and delicious. Continental breakfast is complimentary for ambassador, titanium and platinum members, I believe.

Wir blieben 5 Nächte am Best Western Speedway und nahmen um 1:30 Uhr ein. Wir gingen in unser erstes Zimmer im Erdgeschoss mit all unseren Gepäck, das wie ein Schlamm geräuchert hat. Wir nahm ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock, das besser war. Wir hatten in unserem Zimmer einen kleinen Essenstisch, aber nur 1 Stühle. Unser Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Kühlschrank und einen Balkon mit 2 Stühlen gegenüber dem Pool, das war schön. Der Pool war riesig, das war großartig und ein schöner Sonnenuntergang in der Nacht. Montag Morgen war es wie ein Hinderniskurs, um alle schmutzigen Bettwäsche und weiche Handtücher auf dem Teppichboden zu erreichen. Das erklärt den funkyen Wegstinkel in der Halle. Die Hügelpfeifen sahen alt und schlagen mit langen dunklen unbekannten Farben ein paar Füße lang. Das Frühstück war meh. Unser Duschekopf im Badezimmer erhielt nur 1⁄2 Wasser, als die 1⁄2 aus dem Fässer kam, als Sie die Dusche-Diverter-Ventil auf dem Fässer gezogen. Der Bad-Auspufffan ist alt und die Schalter sind flüchtig. Das Hotel braucht Modernisierung und Renovierung.

The shores is simply the best! It’s always a pleasure to stay here! The staff is excellent, the food is always wonderful and it’s immaculately clean! Dominic was our valet, he was professional, friendly and helpful. We were served champagne at check-in and offered s’mores every night!! The food is amazing, we ate at the pool tiki bar, fun atmosphere and wonderful bar tenders . Our room was cleaned everyday fresh towels & coffee/water restocked. Never had to ask for a thing!! We stayed after a bad storm rolled through and they handled it with class. Always our first choice when visiting Daytona !

Great hotel!! beautiful view of the ocean. Was super nice to wake up and watch the sunrise with a hot cup of coffee. Loved the art work in our room. very clean everything worked great.
