Casa Del Mar, is a great place - the entire family enjoyed themselves, didn't have a single problem even when we showed up early they were able to take our bags and we went shopping till our room was ready.

Very nice but could use more and better furniture.. convection oven in a small kitchen. Nice pool deck amenities. Great staff and great location. Master bath had tub shower. Other bath had nice shower.

The rooms are so clean and luxury feeling, compares to a Marriott if not better. Would absolutely stay here again. Everyone was friendly, all rooms had a balcony, and the atmosphere was warm and upbeat. Couldn’t have been happier or money better spent!

This place has plenty to offer for families looking for a beachside resort that’s conveniently located near other amenities and activities in Ormond Beach. Pirate’s Cove Mini Golf is across the street. Pizza Hut is 0.4 miles to the north on A1A. Publix Super Market is nearby for groceries. The room has a small kitchenette with microwave, dishwasher, mini refrigerator/freezer and a sink. The beach is lots of fun and the pool and spa are spacious. The pool is 8-1/2 feet deep. I recommend Casa Del Mar for families with children for a fun Florida getaway.

Couldn't enjoy the balcony due to the disrespectful chain smokers. Very disappointed. The resort was supposed to be non-smoking. Thankfully most were still sleeping at sunrise. Rooms were decent and pool was nice.

Was here in July and the bartender, LISA, made me the best margarita I ever had!!! I am addicted, made reservations asap to come back to see LISA and drink margaritas. The resort is lovely, Oceanfront, great rooms, friendly staff. If you are fortunate enough to visit look for Lisa.

Can’t get a better view or closer to the beach. I wish the building had a handicap ramp for beach access instead of stairs. One bedroom is really tight for a family. I would recommend a two bed minimum. Staff was hit or miss-sone were great and some were not.

Hadn't been here in about 4 yrs and the updates they done are NICE.  The room was comfy, cool and had good wi-fi connections concerning we were on the top floor.  While we are not pool or beach people the views and the sounds of the ocean was amazing.  I can highly commend BG on the updates to the property and we will be back before 4 more years.

Unbelievably depressing place to stay. We booked an "Ocean Front" room and were dumped on the first floor next to the check in lobby and housekeeping office (with staff lockers slamming all day), and a room view of the parking lot behind the building with constant stream of people walking right outside the patio door. I guess you could sort of barely see some blue of the ocean behind the pool deck? Definitely should not be advertised as ocean front. Room wifi was unusably awful, couldn't even stream YouTube, kept dropping the single device we tried to connect, and cellular reception to use my own ATT hotspot was equally poor. The housekeeping staff room lockers in the adjacent room were frequently slamming shut, which you could not only very clearly hear all hours of the day, but feel the vibrations on the other side of the wall. Room itself was subterranean, with no overhead lighting and constant stream of people going through the parking lot meant we couldn't keep the curtains open for light. Old motel AC struggled to keep the far side of the room cool, rest of the room perpetually stayed above 80. Asked front desk if they had literally any other rooms available, was told tough luck. The whole experience was so awful we left after the first night and just booked another room at a different resort down the beach. Room was also caddy corner to check in lobby, so that was also quite noisy with the the big gap under the door. Normally I don't really care so much where we stay, but this was so explicitly awful, especially after spending extra for what we thought was "Ocean Front" or at least facing the water, not a first floor parking lot balcony with limited to no view and constant barrage of noise with dim lighting. I don't know what they were thinking putting a room there, but I'll never step foot in there again to find out. Caveat Emptor.
