Central location and cleanliness were two aspects I liked. My room in the 5th floor (attic) was, however, a very uncomfortable experience as it was NOT equipped with air-conditioning. It was unbearable during a heatwave! The receptionist was aware that the ac was not functionable but I was quite simply ignored and was not offered another room. Very disappointing indeed.

Wir haben das Ibis Centre Gare in Orléans wegen seiner absoluten Nähe zum Bahn- hof gewählt, nicht weil es ein besonders angenehmes Hotel wäre. Bis zur Innenstadt braucht man zu Fuß rd. 25 Minuten. Und die Zimmer sind wirklich winzig. Aber sie sind bewundernswert eingerichtet: auf so kleinem Raum so viele Funktionen anzubieten, ist schon eine Leistung. Darüber hinaus kann man an der Rezeption auch Getränke und kleine Snacks kaufen. Nur die ”Bar” ist schon etwas kläglich. Das Frühstück gibt es im ersten Stock auf einer etwas größeren Fläche mit leicht rustikalem touch. Alles dies wird jedoch in den Schatten gestellt von der Freundlichkeit und der Zu- vorkommenheit der Damen an der Rezeption. Selten haben wir so nette Rezeptio- nistinnen getroffen. Die beiden Übernachtungen hier hatten für uns etwas von Exotik und Rückkehr in eine Phase jugendlichen Reisens.

Used this for an overnight stop on route back up from the South of France. Good location, clean budget room that was good value too. Close to amenities for food/drink & the Patisserie at the end of the road has a great choice on offer for breakfast!

We have visited this hotel a number of times over the past 15 years or so, including for some special occasions. Firstly the positives, the staff at reception were absolutely great and the manager and staff in the restaurant were also excellent. We had requested a change of room and this was facilitated without any fuss and again the reception staff organised this while we were out. The first room we were in had a very poor bathroom including the shower. There are no slippers or tissues in the rooms which though small items were indicative of what we saw as the small things being let slip. It appeared to us that the hotel is now focused on being a wedding venue and less attention is being paid to hotel. The breakfast was really disappointing and we were comparing it to one available at hotel we had stayed at immediately before arriving here. The coffee machine was a complete disaster and the staff appeared to be very inexperienced and failed to seize the fact that there was a problem and only agreed to make coffees when it was pointed out to them that machine was not working properly. Another guest spoke to me at the machine and said that it was inexplicable that we couldn't get a decent coffee in Italy. The selection of fruit was really poor and it appeared as if staff just added different fruit to top up the dish each day. This is a truly lovely hotel in a beautiful setting and it is a great pity to see if drop it's standards.

I found this hotel completely by happenstance when departing Orly airport with a rental car and I knew I would stay here again on furniture trips. I took the first exit near Orléans, and found this hotel. I checked in with no foresight at all, and I was very happy to have found it! I was quite surprised to find the kitchenette. It has everything you’d need to cook in for the evening, which I ventured out for food from a nearby grocery store and stayed in, safe and sound in my room, with food to eat. It was great, nice tv, nice quiet room, nice bathroom. The hotel staff are top notch, and have welcomed me every time with my mediocre French. I love this hotel!

Formidable hôtel à tous niveaux. L accueil la gentillesse le confort la propreté de la chambre le petit déjeuner parfait. Hôtel rénové avec goût belle décoration on se sent très bien Nous avons été impressionnés par l accueil de la directrice... Sur le parking.. nous avons été conseillés elle nous a gardé notre place le temps d un demi tour.. vraiment... Bravo. Nous avons beaucoup fréquenté d hôtels mais là c est presque surprenant.. Nous avons déjà envie de revenir. Encore merci nous commençons nos vacances avec le sourire

Nach einer schwierigen Reise nach Saran aus Paris habe ich die zusätzlichen Anstrengungen geschätzt, die Elena bei der Front-Desk geleistet hat, als ich angemeldet bin. Sie war sehr gut über die Sehenswürdigkeiten der nahe gelegenen Touristen und zeigte während meines Aufenthalts Interesse an meinen Aktivitäten. Sie hat auch Informationen über Restaurants in der Gegend gegeben. Fluent in drei Sprachen, verbale Kommunikation mit ihr war kein Problem. Das Zimmer und das Hotel erfüllten meine Erwartungen, da das Zimmer sauber und komfortabel war. Die Kücheneinrichtungen waren auch auf einem anderen Stock zur Verfügung. Parkplatz war kostenlos und bequem vor Ort. Meine einzige Enttäuschung war, dass ich nicht wieder dort bleiben konnte.

Stopped here on our return to Blighty after a 7 hour journey from the deepest south, planned timing having gone a little awry due to personal ineptitude but in the end not a problem really. They have secure parking which is a must for me, coming from the crime riddled UK and working on the basis that everywhere must be at least as bad (not at all true). We’d noted on other reviews that the hotel is not necessarily going to attract passing trade by its looks which, now having seen it, is a fair comment, but really does belie the reality of what lies below the surface. This is a place that we will very definitely revisit both for the hotel, their food and the town. We arrived during rush hour it seemed and so had to recce the area before making a final approach when my co-pilot was launched to advise of our arrival. As a result, the large gates located to the right of the hotel were opened by the proprietor who assisted by halting the traffic whilst the rather narrow and unforgiving entrance was negotiated by my bus. The car park itself is located in a walled area and is indeed as advertised and as about as secure as it gets. There was a very pleasant welcome and we were guided to our ground floor, garden facing room which was modern, clean and well appointed (no tea and coffee facilities though which was a shame). There are possibly 10 or so rooms all facing the garden which is a large walled affair with a terrace/courtyard where meals can be enjoyed. Very pleasant, peaceful and relaxing particularly after a long journey. We’d booked for dinner which is only on offer to residents and was extremely good with a good choice of freshly prepared fare all for around E25 plus wine and coffee, each - bargain! Beaugency itself is a very pleasant, Loire side town and although we went for a wander after dinner, it deserves more exploration since there is bags of history in the town. We will definitely revisit after summer but this time plan it a little better. As regards the Le Beaugency hotel itself I would very definitely recommend a visit including the partaking of their dining facilities, all in all, extremely good value and a very enjoyable stay. The whole lot was just under E174 which included, comfy bed, lovely breakfast and superb evening meal which I’d regard as excellent value.
