Central location and cleanliness were two aspects I liked. My room in the 5th floor (attic) was, however, a very uncomfortable experience as it was NOT equipped with air-conditioning. It was unbearable during a heatwave! The receptionist was aware that the ac was not functionable but I was quite simply ignored and was not offered another room. Very disappointing indeed.

Wir haben dieses Hotel nun schon gesucht und finden, dass es eine gute Möglichkeit ist, um zu besuchen und ein wenig durch die Stadt zu streiten. Das Personal ist meiste freundlich und die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Ebenso hat uns das Frühstück im Hotel gut gefallen . Lediglich der Kaffee könnte etwas besser sein.

Wir haben das Ibis Centre Gare in Orléans wegen seiner absoluten Nähe zum Bahn- hof gewählt, nicht weil es ein besonders angenehmes Hotel wäre. Bis zur Innenstadt braucht man zu Fuß rd. 25 Minuten. Und die Zimmer sind wirklich winzig. Aber sie sind bewundernswert eingerichtet: auf so kleinem Raum so viele Funktionen anzubieten, ist schon eine Leistung. Darüber hinaus kann man an der Rezeption auch Getränke und kleine Snacks kaufen. Nur die ”Bar” ist schon etwas kläglich. Das Frühstück gibt es im ersten Stock auf einer etwas größeren Fläche mit leicht rustikalem touch. Alles dies wird jedoch in den Schatten gestellt von der Freundlichkeit und der Zu- vorkommenheit der Damen an der Rezeption. Selten haben wir so nette Rezeptio- nistinnen getroffen. Die beiden Übernachtungen hier hatten für uns etwas von Exotik und Rückkehr in eine Phase jugendlichen Reisens.

Hotel in der Nähe des Zentrums, 10 Minuten zu Fuß zur Kathedrale. Einfacher Zugang vom Bahnhof. Ich reise mit einem kleinen Gepäck, so dass es für mich ein schöner Spaziergang war. Hilfsbereiter Service, Sie können alles in Englisch erhalten. Die Rezeption ist in bestimmten Stunden offen, kürzer während der Wochenenden und Urlaub, so müssen Sie einige Verfahren lernen, und wenn Sie außerhalb der Rezeption Stunden ankommen, schickt das Hotel eine sehr genaue Anweisung. Es ist ein Hotel, in dem die Gäste den Anhang reinigen, das Gepäck herunterladen und das Gepäck in die Container auf -1 Ebene nehmen.

Used this for an overnight stop on route back up from the South of France. Good location, clean budget room that was good value too. Close to amenities for food/drink & the Patisserie at the end of the road has a great choice on offer for breakfast!

Ich empfehle dieses Hotel, wirklich einen billigen Fallpunkt zu haben. Formidable hôtel à tous niveaux. L accueil la gentillesse le confort la propreté de la chambre le petit déjeuner parfait. Hôtel rénové avec goût belle décoration on se sent très bien Nous avons été impressionnés par l accueil de la directrice... Sur le parking.. nous avons été conseillés elle nous a gardé notre place le temps d un demi tour.. vraiment... Bravo. Nous avons beaucoup fréquenté d hôtels mais là c est presque surprenant.. Nous avons déjà envie de revenir. Encore merci nous commençons nos vacances avec le sourire

Stopped here on our return to Blighty after a 7 hour journey from the deepest south, planned timing having gone a little awry due to personal ineptitude but in the end not a problem really. They have secure parking which is a must for me, coming from the crime riddled UK and working on the basis that everywhere must be at least as bad (not at all true). We’d noted on other reviews that the hotel is not necessarily going to attract passing trade by its looks which, now having seen it, is a fair comment, but really does belie the reality of what lies below the surface. This is a place that we will very definitely revisit both for the hotel, their food and the town. We arrived during rush hour it seemed and so had to recce the area before making a final approach when my co-pilot was launched to advise of our arrival. As a result, the large gates located to the right of the hotel were opened by the proprietor who assisted by halting the traffic whilst the rather narrow and unforgiving entrance was negotiated by my bus. The car park itself is located in a walled area and is indeed as advertised and as about as secure as it gets. There was a very pleasant welcome and we were guided to our ground floor, garden facing room which was modern, clean and well appointed (no tea and coffee facilities though which was a shame). There are possibly 10 or so rooms all facing the garden which is a large walled affair with a terrace/courtyard where meals can be enjoyed. Very pleasant, peaceful and relaxing particularly after a long journey. We’d booked for dinner which is only on offer to residents and was extremely good with a good choice of freshly prepared fare all for around E25 plus wine and coffee, each - bargain! Beaugency itself is a very pleasant, Loire side town and although we went for a wander after dinner, it deserves more exploration since there is bags of history in the town. We will definitely revisit after summer but this time plan it a little better. As regards the Le Beaugency hotel itself I would very definitely recommend a visit including the partaking of their dining facilities, all in all, extremely good value and a very enjoyable stay. The whole lot was just under E174 which included, comfy bed, lovely breakfast and superb evening meal which I’d regard as excellent value.
