It was a terrible experience for me and my family staying in this hotel. After doing some research and reading review, we booked this hotel after finding deal on TripAdvisor through Agoda @around 12K a day (19 May - 21 May). The booking was done for a 3BHK Villa. When we reached the reception, no one was there (First Surprise) . I had to wait for around 5 minutes and then the Receptionist cum Manager came. (Obviously when the reception was deserted so no one was there to pick my call). After that the check-in was smooth. The surprise started once we started going to the villa. The second surprise was that We had to cross the full muddy area to reach the room. In the way , we had to pass through , what seems like never cleaned stairs. The property badly needs maintenance. The Shock came when we saw that the room was not cleaned after the previous occupant might have left. The bedsheet and blanket covers were dirty. The hairs and all was still there. The bathrooms were dirty too. It was already dark and when we complained, attended (who came to leave us till room ) said that someone will come , but eventually no one came. Next Shock – In the evening power got cut and after waiting for couple of minutes, I thought to call the reception (hope against hope) but the intercom was dead. I had to walk till reception in dark and rain to check what is happening. They said that last night the wires got cut and hence the intercom is not working for my villa. The manager gave his cell number to contact whenever I need too. He also informed that the generator is there but they are arranging the Diesel to start it up. Next Shock – We ordered the dinner from the hotel , the food was half cooked. Finally I had to order in night via Zomato/Swiggy. Next Shock – They do not have any travel desk who can arrange a taxy for you (anyway this one is comparatively smaller shock 😊) But the manager called an Auto next morning. Next Shock – In the morning, the plumbing of two of the three bathrooms went wrong. So we all whole family used Single Bathroom). While going away, I informed Vincent about all issue, (cleanliness and bathroom) and he assured that he will do something. This is different that when I returned in evening, the same bedsheet were on the bed. The bathroom plumbing were fixed only to be broken next morning. Next Shock – Vincent is the Manager cum receptionist cum full in-charge , but getting him was a big challenge. Most of the time he was no in the reception and not picking his cell phone. My intercom was still not working till I checked out. Only good thing that , they allowed my car to be parked till 1 PM on the check out date . I really appreciate it. Overall : It was an overly priced and a poorly maintained and managed resort. Far from city and finding any means to get out from here is a challenge . Very bad experience for me.
