Hotellage ist good......Common Bereiche sind gut gepflegt, aber die Zimmer sind nicht so wie in der Fotografie auf der Website ....Restaurant ist nicht gut ***alter, obwohl das Personal gut ist, aber ich finde, es gibt viel Spielraum für Verbesserungen. ...Buffet Frühstück ist gut ....Biryani Geschmack war gut .... Lebensmittel war im Allgemeinen gut ... Ich musste mehr als 30 Minuten warten, damit das Hotelpersonal meine Gepäck beim Abreisen von Zimmern überträgt ..... Es gab eine Menge Unterschiede zwischen dem Preis, wie auf der Check-out erwähnt wurde. trip.com und direkt mit hotel.....Trip.com war weniger für die gleiche Privilege Suite ....

Auf unserer Reise hatten wir im Savoy in Ooty Station gemacht. Nach der Fahrt über gefühlt hundert Serpentinen auf 2.300 m ü. NN waren wir von der ruhigen Anlage inmitten der Stadt sehr positiv überrascht. Ursprünglich eine Missionarsschule aus dem 19. Jahrhundert ist es schon seit langer Zeit ein Hotel, das an die Zeit erinnert, als Ooty Erholungsort für die Briten war. Wir bewohnten ein kleines Häuschen im englischen Stil mit abgetrenntem Wohnbereich und einem ausreichend großen Schlafzimmer. Vor dem Häuschen gab es Tisch und Stühle, um die Sonne genießen zu können. Wir aßen im Restaurant mit einer ausgezeichneten Küche und einem perfekten Service. Für Indien eher ungewöhnlich ist es in Ooty aufgrund der Höhenlage ziemlich kühl. Als wir nach dem Dinner in unser Haus zurückkehrten, waren wir sehr froh, dass uns ein Mitarbeiter des housekeeping mit der Frage abgepasst hat, ob er uns den offenen Kamin im Schlafzimmer anheizen sollte. Das Angebot haben wir gern angenommen und damit eine gute Nacht verbracht. Insgesamt fühlten wir uns sehr wohl im Hotel, hier kann *** es gut ein paar Tage aushalten, um die Gegend zu erkunden.

It was a terrible experience for me and my family staying in this hotel. After doing some research and reading review, we booked this hotel after finding deal on TripAdvisor through Agoda @around 12K a day (19 May - 21 May). The booking was done for a 3BHK Villa. When we reached the reception, no one was there (First Surprise) . I had to wait for around 5 minutes and then the Receptionist cum Manager came. (Obviously when the reception was deserted so no one was there to pick my call). After that the check-in was smooth. The surprise started once we started going to the villa. The second surprise was that We had to cross the full muddy area to reach the room. In the way , we had to pass through , what seems like never cleaned stairs. The property badly needs maintenance. The Shock came when we saw that the room was not cleaned after the previous occupant might have left. The bedsheet and blanket covers were dirty. The hairs and all was still there. The bathrooms were dirty too. It was already dark and when we complained, attended (who came to leave us till room ) said that someone will come , but eventually no one came. Next Shock – In the evening power got cut and after waiting for couple of minutes, I thought to call the reception (hope against hope) but the intercom was dead. I had to walk till reception in dark and rain to check what is happening. They said that last night the wires got cut and hence the intercom is not working for my villa. The manager gave his cell number to contact whenever I need too. He also informed that the generator is there but they are arranging the Diesel to start it up. Next Shock – We ordered the dinner from the hotel , the food was half cooked. Finally I had to order in night via Zomato/Swiggy. Next Shock – They do not have any travel desk who can arrange a taxy for you (anyway this one is comparatively smaller shock 😊) But the manager called an Auto next morning. Next Shock – In the morning, the plumbing of two of the three bathrooms went wrong. So we all whole family used Single Bathroom). While going away, I informed Vincent about all issue, (cleanliness and bathroom) and he assured that he will do something. This is different that when I returned in evening, the same bedsheet were on the bed. The bathroom plumbing were fixed only to be broken next morning. Next Shock – Vincent is the Manager cum receptionist cum full in-charge , but getting him was a big challenge. Most of the time he was no in the reception and not picking his cell phone. My intercom was still not working till I checked out. Only good thing that , they allowed my car to be parked till 1 PM on the check out date . I really appreciate it. Overall : It was an overly priced and a poorly maintained and managed resort. Far from city and finding any means to get out from here is a challenge . Very bad experience for me.

The property is centrally located and a must visit if you are interested in Victorian architecture. The property is arguably from the British Era(at-least the Victorian suits). The suit rooms are huge and are carved in wood from floor to ceiling. They have an amazing restaurant and the food is yum. F&B manager Bede and his team including Rajesh were ever ready to attend to all our need. I wish Bede managed the entire property as his personal touch was there in every meal served in the restaurant. Veeramuthu from house keeping is another staff who goes extra mile to satisfy his inmates. A must stay in case you are visiting Ooty. NB- try to book suit rooms as there is no balcony attached to the the rooms in this hotel.

Ooty trip- Delightz Inn Resorts - Apr 30, 2023 to May 02, 2023 for our 10th Wedding Anniversary Celebration with our 2 little infant kids Sridhama and Sowbhagya. It was an awesome and memorable stay here. Enjoyed everything here to the core. All the arrangements here were absolutely fantastic. Right from welcoming us till the send off, they took complete care of us. We loved all the people associated here who are absolutely supportive of you. The rooms were aesthetic and excellent, well maintained, beautifully and neatly maintained washroom and bathrooms to add on top of it. The food here right from the complementary breakfast, sumptuous lunch and dinner that we had here was absolutely tasty and yummy, kudos to their chef in particular who took extra care to ensure our kids get the right meal all the time. I would only recommend them to have ponni raw rice in their menu for pure vegetarian people like us who find it difficult to have boiled rice especially our kids. Had some issues in power supply and wifi connection on 01st May night with no current supply for some 4 hrs due to some power back up maintenance which the problem was resolved only the next morning, thought that was not some major fault of them. The decorations made in our room with roses and balloons for our anniversary cake cutting was simply so so special,awesome and absolutely beautifully done and our kids were happy to play with. The 1/2 kg cake was just so so tasty and yummy which our kids enjoyed completely. Overall an absolutely fantastic and memorable anniversary stay which we just cannot forget in our lifetime. Don't think you would find such a hospitality anywhere else. Kudos to the entire team Delightz Inn. You ensured that we enjoyed a happy holidaying at ooty for sure. Only one flaw which I should point to see if they get it sorted out was providing rooms for stay of cab drivers which unlike other Resorts is missing here. If you go in your own car, your drivers are bound to have tough time. Hopefully they have it when we visit them the next time around. Ausgezeichnetes Resort, entfernt von der Stadt rush. Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sauber, Jaya ji am Rezeption war immer hilfreich. Insgesamt hatten wir einen 3-Nacht-Angenehmen Aufenthalt mit schöner Aussicht.

We had the Deluxe room with the hill view. Our check was smooth and we had an early check in as requested . Monica at guest relations welcomed us with garlands and helped with check in. The bed was very comfortable and large enough to fit me , my husband and my 10 year old. The pillows were very comfortable and of different consistency which we loved. The linens were super clean. The room was well stocked. Buffet breakfast is good but you need to be early else there is a wait time. There is complimentary hi- Tea at 5 pm with snacks . The staff are courteous and very obliging. The whole hotel has an old world charm with modern facilities. We will be visiting again.
