We had the best of experience here solely because of the well mannered and proactive staff. One should definitely come here to experience the scenic beauty from the hotel and dining area. The staff is very proactive and i can grantee you that all your needs will be taken care of. The staff and the owner (Vicky) went out of their way to save us from an unscrupulous that had been harassing us, the hotel staff ensured our safety and made sure he left the compound. Few USPs of the management here 1. Staff is highly proficient and skilled (cook, housekeeping and driver) 2. Freshly cooked meals (Mr. Moses is an amazing cook) 3. The OWNER (VICKY), all things kept aside, he's just an an amazing person to chat with. 4. Needless to sat the VIEW AND THE LOCATION Thank you for making our honeymoon such an amazing experience

The ambiance was so gud and minimalistic…the rooftop dining, the plants everything were pretty..the rooms were very clean…last but not the least the hospitality of the workers here was top notch. Overall it was a very wonderful experience!!

We were a bit disappointed with the room amenities during our stay. There were no basic coffee, tea, or sugar sachets provided, and due to a power issue, we had no access to hot water. The room was also smaller than expected for a family of three, especially at the price point. On a brighter note, the staff was very courteous, and the food was excellent, which we appreciated. Overall, while we enjoyed parts of our stay, we felt the experience didn’t fully match the cost.

Best stay in Ooty. Very friendly staff, great breakfast and dinner options and amazing scenery from Hotel. They provided drivers and car for Ooty, Pykara, Madhumalai, Coonor sightseeing for 3 days. They also arranged for airport pickup and dropoff.

The stay at Tamarillo was average. Its a homestay but with minimal maintenance and services. The view is best from Balcony Room. Rest of the rooms are on the ground floor surrounded by trees/plants. Though the room is clean, they need improvement on the linens. The Balcony is the best place to enjoy the tea planation view and have sun bath. The room doors are not fixed properly. So, at night, you feel too much cold because of the gaps in the doors. There is no heater facility. You need to manage by wearing multiple clothes or sweater... The service is too poor. Despite being on time, you need to order Breakfast well before 30-45mins..that too you are served with minimum quantity. If you need more, again order and wait. There is no helper. You need to do everything by self... Including filling up the water jar and taking luggage up to the room....shifting it down...putting in car..evweything. The Bathroom is decent in size, but lack maintenance. There is some bad smell in water and air. Lunch and Dinner needs to be informed, but dont expect it to be like hotel or having options. It's basic. Also, plan your stay to this site only if you have a car. You will not get transport from here, even if you, it will be too costly. We paid double the amount to commute. Overall, being a frequent traveller, I find it to be an average stay... Won't prefer staying again.
