El Mochilero is a five star hostel, it is clean, there is more than ample space in the rooms, each guest has access to her /his own locker with it's own key where you will find several towels folded in a the manner of five star hotels in a very cute basket, there are also earplugs in each basket. The room I was staying in had four beds and there are two other rooms on the second floor. Very clean bathrooms with a bathtub. But what sets El Mochilero apart from other hostels is that it is family owned by a warm, caring and hospitable family.I felt right at home with Senora Carolina, su mother and her brother Percy.I was hosted as a member of the family and this will stay with me. There is a hearty breakfast served in the morning with orange juice and coffee that will sustain you through the day. I cannot thank enough this family for the way I have been hosted. And I hope to see them again.

Wir genossen das Hotel, wo wir zwei Nächte in einem Zwillingszimmer verblieben. Betten waren groß und das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und es gibt eine Lawsons nebenan, die sehr für Frühstück geeignet war. WiFi war kostenlos und schnell. Das einzige negative ist, dass das Hotel etwa zwei Kilometer vom Bahnhof entfernt ist und obwohl es ein begrenzter kostenloser Shuttle ist es etwas weit von der Stadt entfernt. Ein Shuttle auf Nachfrage würde dieses Hindernis ablehnen. Abendessen im Hotelrestaurant war ausgezeichnet.

Bella Vista Spa & Marina Onomichi is a small luxury resort hotel with just 44 total rooms. This area is known for ship building; the original property served as a serviced guest house for people involved in the industry beginning in 1973. The present property was established in 2007, offering rooms with ocean views and a spa. The property grounds is quite vast - it's perched on a hill overlooking the stunning Seto Inland Sea and the Bella Vista Marina at the water's edge. There are walkways throughout that offer nice vantage points by which to appreciate the scenic beauty of this area of Japan. The outdoor terrace stretches directly from the main indoor common area and has uninhibited views of the Seto Inland Sea. In the middle of the terrace is a stretch of water that appears to flow directly into the ocean (even though the Ocean is quite a ways away) - the water is less than 10cm deep and isn't meant for swimming; it's strictly for show, and it's probably the most Instragrammable aspect of the resort. And, especially in the Summer time, you'll have the ability to enjoy the infinity pool as well as partake in numerous activities (both onsite and outside the property), such as a beach BBQ and island hopping. There's also a ribbon chapel on the property grounds that has won numerous design awards, and I'd imagine that it would serve as a wonderful venue for weddings. In the resort itself, there's a nice spa facility as well as three different restaurants serving Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine (using local ingredients and recipes.) We stayed in the Panorama Terrace Suite, which was quite large 100m² and the third from the top category room at Bella Vista. The best room is the Bella Vista Maisonette Spa Suite, but we passed on it because we generally avoid Maisonette-style layouts, while The Bella Vista is similar to the Panorama Terrace Suite, except that it has it has an open air bath with a view of the Ocean; The Bella Vista was already booked when we tried to reserve it. While our room was spacious, nicely appointed and clean, it was showing its age somewhat. It could probably benefit from a refurbishment within the next few years, especially given the room rates that they charge here. There is a dearth of power outlets as well, which is further evidence that it was built more than a decade ago. The room has a stand-alone bath tub, but it's not Onsen (natural hot springs.) In fact, there's no longer Onsen anywhere on site - supposedly, Onsen stopped flowing about 7 years ago, and that was that. It's a shame, given that there is ”Spa” in the property's name, but a Japanese Spa resort without Onsen is a bit of a misnomer if you ask me. Not their fault, but them's the facts. Dining wise, Bella Vista offers 3 options - Sushi, Kaiseki and Basque-inspired cuisine. All three of the restaurants serve dishes using the very best of local ingredients from both land and sea. Besser als ich erwartet habe. Zunächst ist es sehr schön. Vielen Dank für Ihren Aufenthalt um 12:00 Uhr. Vor allem kann ich Frühstück im Zimmer essen, so dass ich den Geschäftern danke, die ich nicht in einem heißen Ort kenne. Überall empfinde ich den Service der vertrauenswürdigen Kunden. Der Nachteil ist, dass die Wand des Hotels sehr scharf ist. Leider bin ich von der Stimme des Nachbarn aufgewacht. Es ist Sommerferien, also hilft es nicht.

Das Zimmer liegt nur wenige Minuten vom Bahnhof und dem Busbahnhof entfernt, aber wir hatten ein bisschen Schwierigkeiten, es zu finden, da ein Teil der Fassade für Renovierungsarbeiten abgedeckt war. Es ist ein großes, altes Hotel, aber es ist gut gepflegt und schön, dass die ”alten” Touchs noch da sind (Telefon im Badezimmer, Küsten für Trinkglass). Positives: Zimmer war groß und funktional. Ich glaube, alle Zimmer, die das Schloss ansehen, sind noch größere. Es gab viel Platz für unsere Gepäck und es war großartig, einen anständigen Tisch sowie einen Arbeitsplatz zu haben. Wireless Internet und WiFi funktionierten gut. Wir haben sowohl den Japanern als auch das Frühstücksbuffet versucht - beides lecker. Wie andere Bewertungen bemerkt haben, ist der französische Toast besonders schränkend! Auch schön, dass das Frühstück etwas länger als in den meisten Hotels. Negative: Altmodisch, aber die meisten Fukuyama scheinen aus der gleichen Ära. Hauspflege war im Allgemeinen ausgezeichnet, aber eines Tages war unser Zimmer nicht gefertigt und es war schon 3:30 Uhr. Insgesamt, ein toller Ort, um in Fukuyama zu bleiben.

Das Hotel liegt ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs Mihara, eine Minute entfernt Der Transport ist bequem. Unten gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und viele Restaurants in der Nähe. Das Hotel ist sehr neu, die Zimmer sind geräumig und komplett ausgestattet Und es gibt ein kostenloses Frühstück Das Frühstück ist ein Buffet mit vielen Variationen und sehr lecker Empfohlen!

　初めての鞆の浦観光の宿に私たちが選んだのは、ホテル鴎風亭です。館内からの眺めが素晴らしくて、料理もおいしそうな素敵な宿だと思ったからです。 　実際に宿泊してみると、私たちが思い描いていた通りの絶景と、おいしい食事と、素晴らしいおもてなしの素敵な宿でした。そして、それにプラスして、福山駅からの往復の無料送迎バスが利用できたことがありがたかったです。送迎バスを利用するには事前の予約が必要です。 　私たちは、福山駅１２時発の便にしました。福山駅からホテルまでは、およそ３０分。１２時半過ぎには、ホテルに到着しました。チェックインの時間までは、鞆の浦散策をし、ちょうどチェックイン時間の３時ごろまで、しっかり観光を楽しみました。 　翌日も、チェックアウトの時間に合わせてバスが出るので、たっぷりとホテルライフを楽しむことができました。自分で運転しない分、レンタカー代もかからず、車窓からの景色もたっぷりと楽しむことができました。

Great family experience. I read all the reviews and was worried that the room had no attached bath, emailed the hotel with all the questions I had and made all the preparations for my kids. Lord and behold I was assigned THE ROOM with attach bath right next to the Onsen! It was incredible for a family of four. They have a common toilet as well so if the one in the room is occupied, I just walk out to the common one that is well maintained. The staff here speaks good English and were extremely helpful. The breakfast, lunch and dinner at the one and only restaurant here were incredible. While they do not have a wide variety, they made it up with the quality! Delicious is an understatement! Ask the receptionist everything and seek their advise on everything you want to do. They will tell you the best timings and areas to experience the most bunnies! Their weather forecast is spot on too. The only downside is the room smell of bunny food, but this is expected as this island is basically about bunnies!
