I recently checked in to the Marriott hotel in Omaha, Nebraska. This hotel seems to be new and lavishly constructed and decorated. However, the staff is not well trained. I do not believe them to be graduates hotel management, as I was checking in. I waited approximately 20 minutes as I was goingto to the counter Person at the counter let someone who just started waiting ahead of me after I checked in. I went to my room. The Wi-Fi did not work. I have had to call the front desk at which point the person gave me wrong information although later did ,I would not recommend the Marriott hotel in Omaha Nebraska to anyone. It seems to be extremely sub par and The employees are not trained.

Awesome and clean place to stay. Staff is friendly. Breakfast and pool are great and guest laundry is also great.

Ich bemerke, dass die Unternehmen langsam wieder öffnen, aber Reinigung der Hotelzimmer und die Wartung mit Wartung sollte nicht vernachlässigt werden. Das Badezimmer war Füll von Haar überall. Wir wollten ein Tub, weil meine Frau lieber Badewanne. Wir wurden nie gesagt, dass die einzigen Zimmer mit einem Tub sind behinderten Zugang Zimmer. Der Behindertenbank macht die Verwendung des Tubs ziemlich sehr unmöglich, als die unteren Hügel des Bänks protrude in den Tubbereich. Der Tub selbst ist VERY schlimmer, wenn nass. Wahrscheinlich nicht das Beste für ein behindertes Zimmer. Der Abwassersperr hat nicht Wasser von Abwasser (Vielleicht aus mehr Haar?) während der Dusche und mit der Abwasser offen, das Wasser immer noch in der Tube gesammelt. Der Rest des Zimmers war akzeptabel, aber das Aussehen machte es scheinbar, als ob es am Hals Ende einiger Reparaturen war. Die sollten 100% vor der Verwendung des Zimmers abgeschlossen sein. Der Handtücher und der Vorderseite des Betttischs war unglaublich fest. Es gibt absolut keine USB-Porten im Zimmer. Der TV, ”Guide”, nie, nie funktioniert. Es gibt mehrere Sicherheitsprobleme rund um das Hotel, vor allem kaputte Türen.

This was my first stay at this hotel, while I was in Omaha for a business trip. The room was really quite large, which a nice kitchen area, king size bed, a convertible couch, a desk area to work, a large bathroom with a very large stall shower, and a dressing area. I didn't get a chance to use any of the amenities, aside from the free hot breakfast in the morning (which was pretty good). There are plenty of dining options within a short walk of the hotel, but the hotel itself does not have a restaurant or room service. My biggest gripe about the hotel is that there is no room safe in the room. Given the size of the room, there are certainly plenty of places to put a room safe. My other complaint is that I was not informed that room-service only occur when you ask for it. When I didn't get room service the first day, I figured it was an oversight. When I didn't get it the second day, I asked at the front-desk and was told that I have to request it.

I traveled here with my 2 small children. I’m going to write my review based on what I wish I knew prior to booking this hotel for a family weekend. At check-in, I was told no information - nothing about breakfast, pool, fitness room, nothing. I’m a diamond member and normally receive some water at check-in but the gal checking me in literally gave me my room keys and that was it. Breakfast is a joke. $8 for a continental breakfast for kids 10 and under. If you have children, you know they barely eat, so $8 for a bowl of cereal. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else, literally anyone else and get a continental breakfast for free. Even the buffet for adults is $15, but included eggs, nasty potatoes and meat. Again, other hotels offer this for free. The rooms where nice and clean. The people above us were very loud, not really the hotels fault but I’ve been other hotels were sound proofing is better. There is no hot tub so when you take your kids swimming, you’ll be forced to go in the actual pool. And it’s pretty small at that. When returning to Omaha, I will stay elsewhere.

A group of us stayed one night for work as we were conducting a workshop nearby. Facilities were fine -- clean room, clean facilities, well appointed. Poor service, however, soured my stay. At check in, staff could not find my reservation. Just matter of fact -- 'your name is not showing up.' I showed my reservation number and they still could not find it. After 15 minutes, still checking, still no apology. Not much communication or even 'sorry for the wait.' Almost a sense of annoyance. I called the folks in our bigger group who were waiting outside for me ... I asked them to go ahead to dinner so as not to lose our reservation. The 2 staff members could hear this but still no apology. After about 5 more minutes, I asked if it would take longer. Shoulder shrug, they did not know. It was only after I said that I have now lost my ride and that I will be late for dinner that they finally said 'sorry for the wait.” They also said that this HAPPENS ALL THE TIME. (hmmm.... if so, no change?) Next morning, new staff. I asked how to order the free breakfast as this was indicated during my reservation for the rate I reserved. Very curt, bordering on rude, staff said 'there is no free breakfast. Unless you can show me documentation, no free breakfast.” Staff went on and on saying there was no free breakfast, etc. rather loudly, too. This was annoying, embarrassing, and felt belittling -- making me feel like I was trying to be sneaky to get $7 worth of food . My colleague was already having her coffee and she was miffed and said she had the same exact treatment. Just as we were planning to go across the way to Scooters, staff member came to us, seeming to have a change of heart and said she would comp us breakfasts as she thought it was only right, as govt employees. Nice, but did not make up for the rudeness and embarrassment earlier. She then came back apologized, indicating that she did more checking and found that indeed there was free breakfast for our rates. I wonder whether admin is providing good work conditions or fostering healthy work culture. Staff at night and morning did not seem happy to be there. Hotel could have been nice but given the computer glitches and poor interface with staff, I will not be returning nor recommending this place to others.

Wir blieben in diesem Doppelbaum vor einem Konzert im CHI Event Center. Es ist etwa 10 Minuten Uber-Reise zum Zentrum. Das Hotel erschien neu. Es gibt nicht viel im Wege von Abendessen oder Bars in der Gegend. Das Restaurant/Bar im Hotel ist bis zu 5 geöffnet und bietet keinen Zimmerservice. Das Essen war gut auf einem semi-begrenzten Menü. Der Server konnte unsere Rechnung für 7 Personen und 2 Kinder nicht teilen. Das Zimmer war schön und sauber. Das Bett war komfortabel und das Zimmer war cool genug, was nicht mehr passiert. Der Hausmeister kam in etwa 8 Uhr morgens, während wir schliefen. Sie schlug nicht laut genug, um jemanden zu wecken, der uns durch die Tür öffnete geweckt wurde. Angesichts all das würden wir hier nochmal bleiben. Es war schön und sauber

Ich habe hier 3 Nächte geblieben. Die Lage ist gut, die Suiten sind riesig, und es ist schön, eine Küche zu haben. Check-in war gut, der blonde Typ war wirklich nett. Aber, ich bemerkte sofort, dass die Teppiche schwarz sind, und die Vorderseite aller Türen hat schwarz um den Boden. Meine Bettdecke war auch verfärbt. Das Frühstück war gut, aber ich denke, sie sollten die glückliche Stunde mit einem Drink pro Person zu schließen. Die Atmosphäre wird wegen des liberalen Alkohols etwas schüchtern. Jeden Morgen, als ich aufwachte, gab es Alkoholbecher in den Hallen. Ich liebe Hunde, aber es gibt zu viele in diesem Hotel - niemand will in einem Kennel bleiben. Die Wände sind dünn und die Kissen sind absolut schrecklich. So, gut und schlecht ... hängt von dem ab, was Sie zahlen, ich schätze.

I would not stay at this location again, When I arrived I stood at the front desk for about 7 to 10 mins waiting for someone, they did have a sign saying they would be right back. The front entrance is in line with the backdoor as I was waiting 3 employees came rolling in, I joked with them and said cigarette break and they laughed and said yes, no big deal but do all 3 need to go smoke at the same time and leave the whole lobby empty while knowing people would be checking that time of day. We had a 3-night stay Thursday-Sunday. This is a good location in a borderline area hence the fence around the property. The room was nice and comfortable but the service at the front desk was very poor. It is not a big deal to me and they always ask on the Marriott Bonvoy surveys if they acknowledge your frequent user membership, which they didn't. There was a young man with black hair slender who was at the counter two days during our stay and a younger girl also on one occasion, I promise you they did not look up not even once they had their heads down looking at their phones the whole time and I am talking with probably 15 people in the small lobby people coming and going, we were waiting for my niece to pick us up. After arriving home I checked my emails and the bill from the stay and this is the main reason I wouldn't stay they had put a Green Tax of $4.99 a day along with other fees of $ 22.97 a day total in taxes and fees. I was never once advised about a Green Tax and it is not in the Omaha Tax code as far as I could see. This is criminal or should be. STAY AWAY.
