Premier Inn Birmingham Oldbury (M5, Jct2)

Very comfy bed great mattress and pillows Lovely friendly staff...but not enough of them...really short staffed so food service in restaurant difficult...not waitress fault there were only two of them maning the whole restaurant and bar so food was cold when arrived quality of food ok.

Can't fault the hotel the problem was the pub where you should! get your meals. We booked for the meal deal but when we went for our evening meal we were told the restaurant had no staff so no food was being served, the breakfast was on the next morning but seeing the place in daylight the seats are so dirty which is very off putting for a food establishment. Most of the cups and dishes were dirty and found it hard to find clean ones in the pile, we did tell a manager of staff but they were disinterested. The coffee machine was not working, the hot water for drink not very warm, we had a very very long wait for cooked breakfast after ordering to the extent some guests at other tables walk out after having to wait to long. I just hope I get the full refund for the food as asked for.

Went for a valentine get away with my Mrs. And we had a lovely time. The room was spacious, bathroom was nice and clean with hot water. The breakfast was exquisite with a wide variety of options. I want to particularly mention one of the staff there, her name is Jemma, very pleasant, cordial and friendly soul. She checked us in and served us breakfast. She always had a smile on and always willing to assist. I highly recommend Premier Inn oldbury for creating a peaceful space and exceptional customer service.

Booked one night to attend a family get together. The hotel was ideally situated for the party venue and access to the motorway. The hotel had parking onsite, was very clean and quiet. The reception and restaurant staff were really helpful and friendly. Apart from a minor glitch with the rooms key card the whole stay was flawless. Comfy bed, great breakfast and really good value for money

Great hotel for passing through, clean and helpful staff. Staff is the bar/restaurant were amazing. If you are looking for a cheap and cheerful place to stay would suggest here. Great half way point from Scotland to Southampton if going on a cruise too.

The breakfast service was absolutely horrid. We arrived at 8.30 8 people 5 adults 3 kids and there was no information, just took our room number that was it. We had to ask where do we get a cooked breakfast ect! Then the kids were looking foward to the pancakes for us to be told they are still frozen and will not be defrosted in time. With 3 sad children we asked do you want some toast which they all said yes so went to the basket NO BREAD!! asked the 2 people working and the bread is frozen aswell. So 3 children eating fruit and croisant. We had to ask for apple juice as the container was also empty. There were only 3 familys there so why the staff wasnt checking i dont know! To advertise for an unlimited breakfast with no food is a joke. The portion of cooked breakfast for unlimited is false. All our food was cold and poached eggs were cooked through. To pay £10 per head for breakfast for 8 people was a complete joke.
