I stayed at this location for no other reason than I wanted to be close to family for a funeral. After traveling from overseas and returning home, I discovered that I had been charged an additional $20 per night for parking, despite being a loyalty program member and a paying guest. At no time was I notified that I was going to be charged for parking. It is not on the page of the booking site or any other provided documentation. In fact, I was handed a placard for my car to make sure that I my car was no towed. This would have been the perfect time to tell me about the fee for parking.
When I called to enquire about this hidden and unexpected fee, I was informed that it was the booking site's fault and that I should have booked directly from the hotel. I am deeply disappointed and will think twice before booking with a Hilton brand again.
It looks like I missed the implementation of the new Federal Trade Commission's rule banning hidden fees and deceptive pricing by just a few weeks. Shame on you.
