Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Oklahoma City

This is a pleasant, well-maintained property that delivers an experience consistent with what you would expect from Holiday Inn Express. Most importantly, the room was clean and comfortable, and everything was in working order. Common areas were well-kept and inviting. Front desk personnel were friendly. I inquired about a late checkout and was cheerfully offered a 2 PM checkout, which I appreciated (things like that are remembered). Parking (self-parking) is $15 per night, with in-and-out privileges. That seems reasonable for an urban hotel near the heart of a medium-sized city. The parking is in an outdoor lot behind the hotel, with access controlled by your room key activating a swing arm (a swing arm also guards the lot exit, but it lifts automatically; no key card is required to lift it). Hotel guests may keep their cars in the lot during the afternoon after checkout provided they do not leave the lot and attempt to re-enter the lot. The ”Bricktown” development (seemingly Oklahoma City's attempt to replicate the San Antonio River Walk) is a short 2-block walk from the hotel. A stroll along the canal is a nice experience. The complimentary breakfast was standard Holiday Inn Express fare, with staff doing a nice job keeping hot items restocked. Hot items included a pancake machine, freshly made oatmeal, sausage links, potatoes, and pre-fab cheese ”omelets”. The fitness center is fairly run-of-the-mill for mid-tier lodging, with two treadmills, an elliptical machine, a bike, a weight machine, some dumbbells, medicine balls, and a weight bench. I appreciate that the room had a microwave and dorm-sized refrigerator. A couple of small nits: (1) The fitness center had music coming through speakers in the ceiling, and it was loud. When standing on the elliptical machine, the speaker was within a short distance of my head. Hey hotel: it's 2024; people generally bring their own audio entertainment to their workouts. (2) While I appreciated the late (2 PM) checkout, I did find myself locked out of my room at 1 PM so had to go back down to the desk to get the key reauthorized. Overall, however, I would recommend this property and would stay again were my travels take me to downtown OK City.

Um Mittag kam er oder so und James war sehr hilfreich bei der Eincheckung. Als Spire Elite wurde ich auf eine Suite upgradiert. Diese Suite hat etwas, das ich selten sehen kann: ein Deckfans im Sitzbereich. Ein sehr schönes Merkmal, mit AC zu gehen (es war fast 100 Grad draußen an einem Punkt!). schwacher Wasserdruck war das einzige schlechte Sache über das Zimmer. Voll Frühstück, gut zu sehen, da einige Standorte noch langsam zu rollen. Die Nachbarschaft ist so rund um die Gegend, aber Sie haben einfachen Zugang zu I-35 und I-40 sowie in der Innenstadt nur zwei oder drei Meilen entfernt.

Just want to say that it’s been a very very long time since I’ve stayed somewhere where there was great customer service!!! From the moment we checked and checked out the employees were awesome!!! And the place was clean and nice! I would totally recommend this hotel 1000%!! When I come back I will be staying there! Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oklahoma City North, an IHG Hotel, you guys are welcoming and kind!!! Kelly helped me at check in and she was funny and sweet!!! There were three other guys but I don’t recall their names. They were awesome also!!

The hotel, the grounds, lobby, rooms, eating area, all clean and like brand new! Did they just build this place? When we got to the desk, Joseph explained the 2 rooms that we booked (with my credit card points) were booked and promptly canceled by Priceline. But the hotel sensed something wasn't right and kept one of the reservations. They weren't busy and gave us another room right next door to each other. He was very professional. The rooms were so nice. Clean. Keurig in the room. All Dove pump products. Walk in shower. Breakfast was extremely generous. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, eggs for sandwiches, sausage, cinnamon rolls, english muffins, muffins, oatmeal bar, coffee, yogurt. Much more that I'm missing. Large eating area. Only 2 issues were one of the rooms Keurig's and phone didn't work, but we didn't ask that they be fixed because we had the other room. I would definitely stay again. There were a lot of eating areas nearby as well to find take out. The hotel was quiet at night. We were able to bring our dog for a nominal deposit. I will book with a Holiday Inn Express again.

This place was fabulous! I have never had a better hotel stay, even at the fancier hotels I’ve been to. My first impression was I went in with our luggage and my mom was parking the car and the manager (I didn’t get her name but it might have been Kerry the manager) came out of the office and I have the loveliest conversation with her! She was a very lovely and pleasant person, very surprising as some of the reviews were about horrible customer service. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. The room was adequate, normal hotel room but felt exquisite as I’ve been at two hotels in the same town and this was by far the best. Very clean, didn’t have soap in the bathroom but not really a problem. The breakfast was amazing! I’ve never been excited to eat a hotel breakfast and normally skip it but this one was fabulous! I actually ate breakfast for the first time in years and it was wonderful! The ladies did such a good job making it amazing, but putting out whipped cream, fruit, and chocolate along with syrup for the pancakes. The oatmeal had brown sugar, nuts and syrup. They even had a premade hot omelet if you wanted. So good! I will absolutely be coming back here if I’m back in OKC!
