We stayed at Sui Suwako in late October as part of a long Honshu road trip, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience at Sui Suwako. It's a hybrid Ryokan/Hotel of sorts... it's a 4-story building that lacks a grand entrance or massive property grounds. But it offers rooms that are modern and comfortably appointed, the Omotenashi hospitality of a family-run Ryokan, an onsen bath in each and every room (as well as a terrific rooftop co-ed bath) as well as a terrific Kaiseki dining experience. Given its location in the middle of Nagano, it also serves as a good overnight rest spot if you're coming to/from places such as Tokyo, Fuji, Nagano, the Hokuriku Region, Tsumago/Magome and Karuizawa. Sui Suwako is located on the banks of the enormous Lake Suwa (”Suwa-ko” in Japanese), although there's a somewhat busy road as well as a small park/boardwalk between the property and the lake itself. It's not in the most secluded of locations, but upon entering the building and walking into the reception/common area you'll find that Sui Suwako is an oasis of tranquility. The furnishings and decor are a combination of traditional and modern - liberal use of brightly-colored wood, large windows facing a small yet charming garden, the earthly tones of the furnishings and a smattering of Shoji (dividers that consist of white, semi-translucent sheets on a lattice frame) lend an airy, homely feel. The same is true in the rooms themselves - it's a country home-style feel that gives it a warm, inviting vibe to the entire place. There are a total of 8 rooms (2 on each of the 4 floors) with two slightly different room categories. We choose to stay in the larger of the two types, dubbed the ”Wide Japanese/Western-style Room with Open-air Hot Spring Bath, 75m².” It's slightly larger than the standard rooms, although every room contains a private, (semi-)open-air Onsen (hot springs) bath with views of Lake Suwa towards the far end of the room that also serves as a terrace of sorts. Our room was on the top (5th) floor with wonderful views of the lake, and was sufficiently spacious with a generously-sized living room and a separate bedroom with two large Western-style beds. Another neat feature of Sui Suwako is the open-air Onsen bath on the roof of the building. It offers commanding views of the lake, and it's also co-ed - unlike most Onsen baths, you're permitted to bathe in bathing suits, which allows for an enjoyable Onsen experience with friends and family of the opposite gender. And, given that only a maximum of 8 group of guests will be staying there at any given time, you're more than likely to have the bath all to yourself than sharing it with other guests. I recommend that you go just before dinner during the sunset hours. It's a gorgeous time to chill out and marvel at the beauty and serenity of the area. The dining experience was definitely a highlight. To start with, meals are served in one's own room (horray!) We love this aspect of the ryoka

Ich blieb in einem Zimmer mit einem offenen Bad. Es war sauber und das heiße Frühlingswasser war weich und machte meine Haut glatt. Wir besuchten auch das große Bad unten, das war geräumig und hatte schönes Frühlingswasser. Es wurde in einem separaten privaten Zimmer gegessen. Das war wieder ein schönes japanisches Zimmer mit entspannter Atmosphäre. Das Essen war sehr schmackvoll von den Starter und ich fühlte mich glücklich. Und das Personal war sehr hilfreich, sowohl auf dem Vordertisch als auch im Restaurant. Sie sah mich aus, als ich ging, und an diesem Punkt blickte sie auf das Dach des Hotels und sagte: ”Sieh mal. Ich sah auf das Dach und sah einen wahren Held, der auf ihm geperst war. Und als wir in den Wagen kamen und fliegen, flieg auch der Held weg. Das war der letzte Service im Sagioyu (Herons Bath).

Zwei Leute lebten mit ihrer Mutter 10 Tage. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und das Bett ist auch sehr komfortabel. Der Berg aus dem Fenster 々 ist auch sehr schön und die Mutter ist auch sehr glücklich. Das Frühstück ist nicht gut, aber vor dem Beginn war es in der Reihe, die meisten Menschen, die frühzeitig essen möchten 々, haben ein Menü, wenn die Zeit nicht viel ist, ist es nicht spät. Vielen Dank für das System, Sie können in das Zimmer essen, aber die Menge der Dinge, die Sie mitbringen können, ist sehr klein, es ist schwer, Suppe oder Getränke zu ergänzen. Sie können in den Tafeln, mit Reis und Suppe zum Geschmack, sehr glücklich.

Das war ein Stop-Hotel für unsere Tour in Japan. Es ist gut gelegen, zu Fuß zu der Bahnstation. Der Hotelpark ist klein und wir endeten in einer Garage ca. 7-minute Fuß entfernt. (10-minute wenn Sie Gepäck haben.) Wir endeten im Exekutivboden. Die Zimmer waren in der Größe ganz richtig. Der große Plus ist die 14. Stock Exekutive Lounge. Wir waren am Neujahrstag dort, aber alle Restaurants, die angemessen sahen, sagten, sie würden uns nur mit Reservierungen zulassen. Wir hatten das nicht erwartet. Glücklicherweise hatten wir eine gute Füllung im Lounge, gingen wir zu MacDonald's (über die Straße von der Bahnstation) für einen Burger und dann zurück in die Lounge, um mit Getränken zu topen. Obwohl es nahe der Schließzeit für den Lounge war, hat das Personal immer noch das Essen aufgetaucht. Das Frühstück war ziemlich gut. Aber das Essen ist etwas klein. So mussten wir 10 Minuten warten. Sie haben eine Picknick-Arrangement, das war ziemlich charmant. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich, die Dinge funktionierten. Ja, ich würde das empfehlen.

~7min walk from Matsumoto station with many food options nearby, on usual days. We went on 31 Dec to 1 Jan and the streets were empty; shops were 99% closed, except for Parco / big malls. Hotel staffs were super helpful and friendly. I loved the shoe locker concept at the main entrance of the hotel; you lock your shoes and go barefooted around the hotel. Hotel staff assisted to check on available restaurant opening hours, as well as reservation on 31 Dec since we weren't sure if places were open. Onsen (both indoor and outdoor) was the best, coupled with complimentary laundry facility (dryer at 100yen). Shampoo and body wash were all available for use. There are vending machines at the common area outside the bathroom. Complimentary ramen at night (do check with the hotel on the timing). Soba over new year's countdown at midnight was yummy. Wonderful overall experience. Will explore Onyado in other cities in future!

Für den nächsten Tag habe ich dieses Hotel vor der Station gewählt. Das ist das Hotel der Alpico Transport Group. Der Empfang befindet sich im zweiten Stock. Um den Aufenthalt zu behandeln, muss man die Maschine selbst eingeben. Alle Zahlungen, Karten und Frühstücksscheine stammen von der Maschine. Daher ist die Zahlung im Voraus gezahlt. Je nachdem, ob Sie Probleme haben oder bequem sind. Jede Person hat 8000 Yen Frühstück. Es gibt Wi-Fi, Zimmer und Schlafzimmer sind sehr sauber, das Bett ist sehr komfortabel und es gibt keine besondere Unzufriedenheit. Es gibt auch Restaurants und Wohnzimmer vor der Station, also keine Sorgen.

Ich benutze die automatische Geldautomaten für die Ankunftsverfahren, aber selbst wenn ich ins Gebäude bin, schaut das Personal der Rezeption mich einfach still und sagt gar keinen Hallo. Außerdem ist es kalt, den Kunden, die an der Rezeption die Ankunftsverfahren versuchen, das Flugzeug zu benutzen. (Wenn Sie die Rezeption nicht unterstützen, um die Anmeldeverfahren zu bearbeiten, brauchen Sie nicht ２ Menschen auf der Schachtel. １ Sie auf einer Menschen-Wert-Maschine zu halten, nicht wahr?) Alpico Hotel Group ”Shoho” mit einem großen öffentlichen Pool ist der entscheidende Faktor, der es verwendet, aber jede Klasse kostenlose Busse １ Flüge (１ Tag ２ Flüge) Nur 10 Personen, das Rezeptionpersonal hat keine Erklärung dafür. Das Zimmer ist nicht gefriert, der Tisch, der Kühlschrank und der Bettkopf sind voller Staub und der Spiegel ist nicht gefrierd. (Ich habe ein Kleid geleistet und habe mich wieder gefriert)

Die Lage ist bestens. Es ist 30 Sekunden. Spaziergang zum Busterminal Matsumoto und es ist im Gegensatz zum JR-Station Matsumoto. Die Mitarbeiter waren nett, sie arrangierten mein Gepäck ins Zimmer. Die Aussicht auf das Zimmer und die Speisesaal war fantastisch. Das Zimmer war ziemlich klein, aber sauber und teuer. Es gab auch Luftreiniger im Zimmer.

Less than 5 minutes walk from JR station, my moderate twin room is very spacious and comes with a work desk. Beddings are very comfortable and plenty of amenities are provided. They even have complimentary supper service at night. We didn't get to try the breakfast but they look great with a lot of varieties. This is a great place to stay in Matsumoto.
