"Sehr charakteristische Gästezimmer, hauptsächlich sehr zufrieden mit dem Service, sind enthusiastischer als das Hotel. Viele Gepäckstücke sind schwer, Angst vor lokaler Unsicherheit, müssen Sie das ganze Zimmer bekommen und durfen nicht in den Wagen zu setzen. Besonders gefordert, das Zimmer auf den ersten Stock zu setzen, weil es keine Elekträder im zweiten Stock gibt. Der Kundenservice im Geschäft ist schwierig, um das Zimmer im ersten Stock zu lösen. Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, ein Nationalpark, aber es hat keine Tür geöffnet. Es gibt einen kleinen Supermarkt in der Nähe, der nicht hoch ist, ist es auch bequem. Es gibt einige kleine Restaurants in der Umgebung, die Tageszeiten sehen."

"We checked in during the evening on a weekend. Upon arrival, the front desk informed us that we had to pay an additional daily resort fee, even though our booking on Trip.com clearly showed that all taxes and fees had already been paid. Since it was already late and finding another hotel wasn’t practical, we decided to stay. The front desk did upgrade our room, which we appreciated. However, the upgraded room was very outdated and had a constant unpleasant sewage smell. The bed didn’t appear very clean, and the bathtub was broken and unusable. To make matters worse, there were quite a few small bugs in the bathroom, which was extremely unpleasant. The towels and bath towels were old and worn out as well. Another major issue was that the windows had no blackout curtains. The room became very bright early every morning, making it impossible to sleep well. We came here for intensive tennis training, so getting enough rest was important, but we were woken up far too early every day. Considering the price we paid, this hotel did not offer good value for money. There are definitely much better options available at the same price point."

"The room was nice. You can tell it was designed with great care. It's a popular hotel. But the bedding and towels were very cheap. The quilt made a loud plastic sound when it turned over. The front desk was not very professional either. They were either chatting or drinking."

"My husband and I enjoyed our road trip out of San Diego to Ojai for the most part. I grew up in the area, and it is always good to go back to experience what's new and appreciate what's old and relax a little. The art galleries were still open, as were most of the downtown area shops. Of course, the food was excellent (we're vegan). The Farmer and the Cook restaurant was especially good for breakfast during our visit. We stayed at The Blue Iguana Inn with both our small dogs. It was all right. Very pretty, generally well-kept and very clean. The only problem we encountered was the floor of the main room and the bathtub floor were dangerously uneven. I attempted to let the manager know about this, and she let me know that she just did not care if the floor was even, uneven, unclean or unusable - she just did not care at all. We will be going back in the future, but we'll stay elsewhere in Ojai. For the money we spent, there are plenty of good options with even, safe flooring in the main living areas and the bathrooms."
