The Emerald Iguana Inn

Just checked out. We mentioned the fireplace in our room was not working as well as the DVD player. (We had alerted them to the fireplace the evening before and they said they would check and we never hear back). The woman at the front desk was completely unapologetic and told us we should have 'connected the hdmi cable and next time let us know before 3pm about the fireplace." We didn't even check in before 3! She essentially said 'go F yourself' with a smile on her face. Left us with a really bad taste. It's too bad how an interaction like that can ruin the whole experience.

Adorable little hotel tucked away in a neighborhood. Clean and friendly staff. The rooms all have a different theme and it’s only .5 miles from EVERYTHING in downtown Ojai. The price was relatively reasonable and we loved our time there. Would book again!

We came to Ojai for a Belinda Carlisle concert. We wanted to stay somewhere that was within walking distance and close enough to restaurants. This resort is so nice and quiet, beautifully decorated, and has wonderful, helpful staff. I would recommend this resort to any couple, who would love a nice getaway in a beautiful location.

A tranquil oasis just a 10 minute walk to the main drag in Ojai. Check-In was a breeze. Just an envelope with the key to my room left on the door. It's a small property and while they say they don't provide breakfast, there is such an abundance in the Welcome Room - coffee, teas, little mini Danish you could have a breakfast out of it. I stayed in a toad room which was just marvelous.

The Emerald Iguana in is a lovely little oasis in Ojai, sits in a quiet residential neighborhood just blocks from downtown. The rooms are so lovely, you feel like you're staying in someone's guest cottage. The setting is so picturesque and serene.

Our stay at the Emerald Iguana Inn was wonderful. We stayed in the Gecko cottage, it was cozy and quiet. Liked having a kitchen available for dine -in options. The Gecko is a 2 bedroom cottage with 2 bath areas, living room, dining & galley kitchen.Basically a small house. (Front porch sitting area included) Comfy king size master opened onto a private patio. This is a tucked away property, feels peaceful the moment you enter. Thoughtful decor and art work enhance this super clean property. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. Pool area was inviting tho we didn't use the area. Self -serve Coffee & snack area also offers movies & board games. Nothing not to like here. Only drawback was knowing we'd have to check out after our two night stay !
