Die Zeit, die kam, war Regen und Schnee, nicht das gute Wetter zum Skifahren, und es dauerte 4 Tage, um zu rutschen, und ich konnte die herrliche Landschaft nicht sehen. Die Residenz des Chateau Hotels hat uns insgesamt nicht enttäuscht. Obwohl es in China keine große 5-Sterne-Hardware gibt, ist es voller nostalgischer Atmosphäre, und Sie können den restlichen britischen Service sehen, der nicht bescheiden ist. Das Restaurant in der Lobby bietet zum Abendessen Michelin-Standard und ist sehr kostengünstig. Die Essensqualität des an das Hotel angeschlossenen Cafés ist etwas schlechter. Was das Essen eines Bistros gegenüber dem Hotel angeht, ist es nicht gerade schmeichelhaft, aber man kann sich bei einem Glas Wein entspannen. Der kleine Pool im Keller ist nur 90cm tief, der im Winter nur für Kinder zum Spielen geeignet ist und die Wassertemperatur sehr warm ist. Der kleine Kinosaal ist gut. Viele Wanderrouten rund um das Hotel sind nicht schwierig und die Luft ist ausgezeichnet. Zu wenig Platz im Hotel: zum Frühstück gibt es kein leckeres Brot, die Toilettenartikel sind zu einfach. In den ersten beiden Nächten werden nur die großen Dosen an der Wand ausgepresst. Das Niveau des Motels muss ausgespuckt werden. Die Stichprobe für die letzten beiden Nächte ist eine lokale Hotelmarke, die dem Hotel etwas würdig ist. Bild. Da es nur darum geht, Ski zu fahren und ins Restaurant zu gehen, ist es wirklich umständlich, im nächsten Winter zwei Tweeds mitzubringen, was hier am besten zusammenpasst.

Das Hotel liegt direkt unter den schneebedeckten Bergen und Sie können die schneebedeckten Berge sehen, wenn Sie ausgehen. Die Umgebung ist gut. Der Eingang zum Hotel ist der Wandereingang des Nationalparks. Es ist sehr praktisch, einen Shuttle zum Hotel zu buchen, um im Skigebiet Ski zu fahren. Im Winter ist das Zimmer sehr warm. Es gibt einen kleinen Kühlschrank, einen Wasserkocher, eine Kaffeetasse, eine Gemeinschaftsküche und ein Restaurant, in dem Sie Frühstück und Abendessen buchen können. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass es in der späten Besprechung kein heißes Wasser gibt, sodass ich nicht duschen kann.

Mein Mann und ich blieben auf einem zwei-Nacht-Paket, das ein privates Zimmer mit Suite, kochenes Frühstück, Old Coach Road Trail Transfers nach Horopito und die Nutzung der Spa-Pools umfasste. Aufgrund einer dringenden Operation und einer achtwöchigen Erholung mussten wir unseren Abbruch für zwei Monate verschieben und Steve war verständlich und hilfreich, als ich ihn kontaktierte und war froh, den Deal zu verlängern, bis mein Mann wiederhergestellt war. Unser Zimmer war gemütlich, sauber und komfortabel und es gab eine klare Aussicht auf das Berg Ruapehu vom Deck - wir saßen und sahen den Sonnenuntergang und die Farben, die auf dem schneevollen Berg reflektierten - es war magisch. Die Frühstücksbuffets wurden gemacht, während wir warten und an unseren Tisch warm und frisch geliefert. Die Mitarbeiter waren hilfreich und glücklich, die zusätzlichen Meile zu gehen. Die Lock-up-Speicheranlage für unsere Fahrräder war ein zusätzlicher Bonus und alles war in Fuß- oder Fahrradfernung, so dass wir nicht das Auto benutzt haben. Alles in allem ist ein toller Ort, um mit freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Mitarbeitern zu bleiben.

Eine Gruppe von uns blieb im Chalet. Es war komfortable und groß für eine Gruppe. Ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Pulverhorn zum Abendessen. Freundliche Gastgeber. Es gab ein paar kleinere Fragen, die sie direkt beheben. Glücklich, als großer Ort zu empfehlen, Sie und Ihre Freunde für ein Abenteuer Wochenende in Ohakune zu basieren. Winter oder Sommer. We decided to break our train journey from Wellington to Aukland and took a chance on this Chateau. We were so glad that we did. We stayed for two nights, in ”The House”, not a hotel room. This is a three-bedroom house with a good kitchen and bathroom, comfortable lounge room and nice outdoor terrace. It also has a wood fired heater, for which they provide plenty of wood. Then there's the dining room! We weren't disappointed there either. We ate there both nights and had delicious food. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, including taking us into town to the supermarket. Otherwise, it was a looong walk. A special shout out to Scarlett who was a great help following the unexpected cancellation of our next accommodation in Aukland.

Ausgezeichneter Ort zum Aufenthalt. Sehr komfortable Soft Beds und eine Spazierweite zu verschiedenen Arten von Lebensmitteln und Cafés. Würde wirklich Rice Bar & Food für Abendessen und ihre Getränke empfehlen.

I booked accommodation at the Ohakune Court Motel for the 12th August for 1 night through Agoda. The booking was Non refundable which I have never had a problem with when I have booked through *********** in the past. My daughter took me to the accommodation, we went in and it stunk, my daughter said mum, you cant stay here it is awful. I went and saw the lady at Reception, she came into the room and said she couldn’t smell anything. First lie. I asked if she had any other rooms but she didn’t, I asked for a refund which she agreed to, she disappeared and then came back and said as I had booked through *********** I would have to get in touch with them and she would do what she had to do her end, I actually booked througb Agoda. My daughter was there the whole time so everything was fine so we went off and tried to find alternative accommodation, which we did and it was lovely. I got in touch with Agoda and they said they wanted the name of the person and their title before they could put the refund through. I said I think she was the owner, so they put it through and said I would hear back from the main source. I emailed the Motel and didn’t hear anything. The next morning (Sunday) I called the Motel, the lady answered, I explained I was ringing up about my refund and she never said another word and put the phone down, I tried quite a few times to call back but it went onto answerphone. Every time. My daughter took me round to the Motel and she said that she spoke to the owner and he said there is no refund, because she (the lady) couldn’t smell anything. I said that you told me yesterday that I would get a refund, I asked to talk to the owner but she said he wasn’t there. I told her she was rude and very unprofessional for putting the phone down on me earlier, her excuse was she was busy., but she managed to answer it the first time. I said that I would be complaining and putting it on Social media, her words were, “Go for it” I had to find another $200 that night for accommodation so the whole1 night turned out to cost me $390.00 which is more than my weekly pension. I went down to spend some time away with my family for my 67th birthday, one I wont forget in a hurry for the wrong reasons. I agree with cancellation policy if the room is clean and doesn’t smell. There is no way I could have slept in that room for the whole night. They shouldn’t be running a Motel as they obviously don’t have any people skills at all. My daughter was there the whole time and was witness to it all. She works in a Motel in Matamata and couldn’t believe the way they reacted. When we got back in the car there was a guy coming out of the room behind the reception and the lady pushed him back in the room. Please heed this warning DO NOT STAY AT THIS MOTEL. The Hobbit Motorlodge, Ohakune were so nice in comparison and done everything to make my stay more memorable.
