4.10.24 - 4.20.24 Let me start by saying I loved this resort so much that I can't wait to go back someday! I am going to start with the eh experiences and finish strong with the best things about it. We went through about 10 key cards for our room because they are so easily disabled, apparently even being near a cell phone they said, but also at random. We had a few long waits for someone to come let us in. Some of the restaurants took unreasonably long to take our orders and get our food. Only a select few, though. Tapas dropped the ball more than once, even when we were literally one of maybe 3 tables. I got my food and was almost done with it by the time I received my originally ordered drink. Room service got our order wrong (on specific requests - not wrong food) at least 3 times. One particular day, our first butler took 45 minutes to pick us up for something, then later that night told us he would come get us and never showed up. So we missed dinner and it took an extra hour and a half to get food somewhere else. This leads to the good stuff. They immediately replaced him with Sean and, together with our other original butler, Melford, we had the time of our lives! They were both incredible. Always on top of our schedule, our requests, and going above and beyond what we asked of them. Melford even got a specific creamer for my coffee off-site without me asking. Together they put together a bubble bath, flowers around the tub, and letters spelling Happy Honeymoon one afternoon for us to come home to! I can't praise them enough. I want to specifically give props to both Sean and Melford for everything. They aren't just butlers. They're great guys. They're thoughtful and actually care about taking care of their guests. I called them my Batman and Superman because they always saved the day lol. Also, management made it up to us (for the missing butler day) by giving my husband and I a couples massage on the house. It was the best massage ever, for real. And then I want to give a shout-out to our photographer, Alex, for doing a photoshoot with us. He was so good that I told him I wish he'd been the photographer for my wedding! We loved all the staff, all the activities going on everyday, 99% of the food, that amazing famous Blue Mountain coffee, and gorgeous look of the entire resort. It truly was paradise.
