I DON’T even know where to begin except by saying WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT!! I paid for Club level so I would expedite through sandals, no one was there to get us in Jamaica so it took us 3.5 hours to get through customs. When we arrived my concern and request for refund for the $180 service fell on empty hands and I was told to call the 800 number which hung up on me 3 times to which I have still not received a refund. I paid for the honeymoon penthouse oven front club level, and had ripped towels, torn comforter, bugs in my room, our toilet over flowed three times which took 2 hours the first 2 times for help to come and an entire night the third time so my husband had to turn the water off to our room. I caught a housekeeper in our drawers on the first full day and had to tell a waitress from Soy if she did not stop trying to fondle my husband I would have her fired. The hurricane was on Wednesday but Thursday and Friday there were still no excursions and no restaurants open. For that inconvenience we were offered a 2day voucher with a 7 day purchase. I could have bought a car for what I paid for this trip. I shared all of this with the resort manager and was simply told “thank you for sharing this”. We were not offered any money back or asked to give them another chance. This place is a scam and they do not put money back into the resort. No one will tell you it is a man made beach. No one will tell you the board walk is closed for repair. No one will tell you there are jelly fish every where that have six feet long tentacles and when you get stung they will treat you at first aide and charge you $500. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Spend your money and go somewhere else!!! Sandals Ochi is a disaster and they do not care about the customer!!!! I have pictures for everything I have stated above if you want to see them!! WORST VACATION EVER!!! The best part of the trip was the airline flight because we flew first class and we treated very nicely and received a hot towel and a hot meal and all the beverages we wanted.

The trip was amazing! Our adult children had a wonderful time playing around with the staff, who were always bringing them drinks and a laugh! Our favorite day was under a cabana with Miguel, the cabana butler, whom we all fell in love with and called Mad Max! He kept us in food, drinks, and great conversation. He never stopped taking care of everyone, no matter the request. Our personal butlers, Peta-Gaye and Derrick, left us treats and towel animals/flower decorations in our suit daily. They also did several check-ins as we were by the pool. I love as they seated us at the restaurants with a specialty drink. The resort was beautiful. It has been a wonderful week!

I visited Sandals for my Birthday trip May 29 I stayed for 4 nights 5 days and I have to say WOW. Starting from check in Danielle was our Front Desk Agent she was the besssttt, her bubbly personality her kindness her sweet soul pleaseeeeee give her a higher position with a lot of raise, it’s not much people that we meet that shows this much energy in their job and themselves so sandals please hold on to this gem. A special big up to my butlers Ray and Amiga you both were so amazing, Ray did my room decor for my bday and it made everything extra special thank you so so so much you are a 10/10. I also would love to big up a chef from the Kimonos restaurant Damari I am not sure if I was spelling your name correctly but your entertainment at dinner was amazing i left with a full stomach and a happy heart. Just wanted to give a few shout outs to membera of the staff! Robert and Peta-Gaye, our Butlers were outstanding! They went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations! From arranging transportation to various parts of the resort, to the meticulous attention to detail in our room, including snacks for our arrival, beautiful towel decorations in honor of my birthday and our wedding anniversary, to the most amazing romantic bubble bath surprise, they made our vacation SPECTACULAR! We spent a few days out of the resort on our own, and Robert would call to check on us, see if we were okay, and ensure we had dining arrangements on standby upon our return. Dwyane, just such a lovely person, constantly greeting us as we walked around, lovely smile, friendly personality, such a joy to speak to and be around! Tiffanie our Housekeeper…. First of all, congratulations on your up and coming bundle of joy! She worked so hard to keep our room tidy and clean, beautifully made bed! Oh and OTIS from maintenance, thank you soooooo much for quickly working on any maintenance issues Lastly, did I mention all of the adorable cata on the property? They serve a putpose but they make it feel so homey ❤️ See you all again soon!

4.10.24 - 4.20.24 Let me start by saying I loved this resort so much that I can't wait to go back someday! I am going to start with the eh experiences and finish strong with the best things about it. We went through about 10 key cards for our room because they are so easily disabled, apparently even being near a cell phone they said, but also at random. We had a few long waits for someone to come let us in. Some of the restaurants took unreasonably long to take our orders and get our food. Only a select few, though. Tapas dropped the ball more than once, even when we were literally one of maybe 3 tables. I got my food and was almost done with it by the time I received my originally ordered drink. Room service got our order wrong (on specific requests - not wrong food) at least 3 times. One particular day, our first butler took 45 minutes to pick us up for something, then later that night told us he would come get us and never showed up. So we missed dinner and it took an extra hour and a half to get food somewhere else. This leads to the good stuff. They immediately replaced him with Sean and, together with our other original butler, Melford, we had the time of our lives! They were both incredible. Always on top of our schedule, our requests, and going above and beyond what we asked of them. Melford even got a specific creamer for my coffee off-site without me asking. Together they put together a bubble bath, flowers around the tub, and letters spelling Happy Honeymoon one afternoon for us to come home to! I can't praise them enough. I want to specifically give props to both Sean and Melford for everything. They aren't just butlers. They're great guys. They're thoughtful and actually care about taking care of their guests. I called them my Batman and Superman because they always saved the day lol. Also, management made it up to us (for the missing butler day) by giving my husband and I a couples massage on the house. It was the best massage ever, for real. And then I want to give a shout-out to our photographer, Alex, for doing a photoshoot with us. He was so good that I told him I wish he'd been the photographer for my wedding! We loved all the staff, all the activities going on everyday, 99% of the food, that amazing famous Blue Mountain coffee, and gorgeous look of the entire resort. It truly was paradise.

This was my first experience at a Sandals Resort and I am now a believer! Sandlals is by far the best experience I have had at an all-inclusive resort! The staff is SO friendly. The first day there we met Delvene and she is a fabulous, energetic, lovely woman. I had a 1hr massage with her and it was incredible - Canadians with private insurance can get reimbursed (I did). We also had the fortune of meeting Zeus (watersports) and he took us on an amazing adventure on a Hobie Cat (mini catamaran). We got along so well that I think he took us for longer than most. So exhilarating! By far, our favorite employee was a young man who made our vacation even better than it already was. We initially met at the pool bar behind the amphitheater. His name is D'Andre ＜3 He is SO friendly and kind. On our first night there, he custom made us drinks that he named after each of us - so special! On one of our last nights there he taught me how to make my 'name' drink - one of the highlights of our vacation!! We were very sad when it came time to say goodbye to him, as he felt like family by the end of our stay. We will never forget you, D'Andre! We still keep in touch and maybe one day we will have the fortune of hosting him here in Canada ＜3 A big shout out to ALL of the staff at Sandals Ochi! Your professionalism, friendliness and generosity of spirit truly made this a magical experience! We would love to return 'home' to visit you all in the near future! Keep up the great work!!

This was my fifth stay at Sandals. My journey began in 1993. I've visited Montego Bay, Royal Bahamian, La Toc in St. Lucia, Royal Bahamian again (bridesmaid in a destination wedding), and finally Ochi. I state this only as foundation for this review. During my five stays, I’ve been blessed to stay in a butler suite the last three visits. Here’s the thing. My prior two butler suite stays were great, don’t get me wrong, but this third one was once in a lifetime. We will forever remember, cherish, and pray for Peta-Gaye Davis and Robert Poyser. On a scale of 1-10 they were 100. Their genuine thoughtfulness from day one until day eight was unmatched. After my two previous butler stays, I did not write a review concerning them, much less tear up when saying goodbye. These two are so exceptional their names are imprinted on your heart. Before leaving Ochi we booked our next stay at South Coast since it’s a destination neither one of us has been, but boy it was tempting to book Ochi to be spoiled by Peta-Gaye and Robert all over again in 2026. One day we will return to be blessed by their sunshine and joy. If you plan to visit Ochi in Jamaica, be sure to request this dynamic duo as your once in a lifetime butlers’. My favorite activity included with your stay is Hobie Cat sailing. When signing up for a boat they ask can you sail? Not proficiently was my answer so they offered to take us. This was great since my partner Dewayne had never been on a Hobie Cat and I knew he could quickly learn by watching someone work their magic. Once on the water, Dewayne started trying to get my attention to look at something he’d noticed. I followed his eyes to discover our captain’s name was also Dewayne. To you this might not seem noteworthy, but it is RARE to find another spelling of the name Dewayne the same. Immediately our captain noticed our smiling and wanted in on the joke. Dewayne explained they shared the same name but it was spelled the same, too. Sandals Dewayne chimed back, “Brother from another mother”! We chuckled and formed an immediate bond. He taught my Dewayne how to sail and our cruise over the ocean made the day. We felt the pressures of our lives melt away and we were officially in paradise! But, not only do the water sports crew have one super star, but two in Capitan Kirk. The second time we went for a sail Kirk was assigned to us. Kirk exudes personality and took us on an extended ride that was super adventurous thanks to the high waves! The smiles on our faces they were priceless. On our last afternoon after our excursion, we rushed to get back for one more sail and Kirk was there for our final ride. He asked Dewayne if he felt he could sail the boat and he said yes.
