Check-in was easy. Front desk staff was super friendly & helpful. Free on-site parking is available. There are no elevators; only steps. The motel is located on a busy street. Traffic is constant & noisy. It prevented us from sleeping past 6 a.m. Thankfully, the room was clean & the bed was comfy. The towels were dinghy, thin, scratchy & not absorbent. They've seen better days! There are no dressers with drawers & there are no closets. There's a mini-fridge between the beds & a small microwave wedged in a corner cubby. The room is cramped & compact. No tissues, no body lotion, no drinking cups, etc. are provided. Next time, we'll stay elsewhere.

The location is great and the staff were very nice. Not far from the beach and there is plenty of parking. The breakfast is minimal, yogurt, milk, orange juice and one breakfast sandwich. All are prepackaged so you can take back to your room. Coffee was good. The big negatives are the beds, cleaning, and the musty smell as soon as you walk in the room. Room was semi clean but there was a greasy substance on the bathroom floor and a large spider in the bathtub. The HVAC unit was duct taped together on the inside. Lots of maintenance and repairs needed to make this a nice place. We would not stay here again. The price on the weekend is definitely too much for what this place is.

Do NOT stay here! Our room 103 had only a window AC unit! NO heat!! We got in at 11:30 pm after driving 11 hours so they just left room unlocked for us. All we wanted was a warm clean room to rest in. NO one answers the phone at the number in the booking or left on the wall in the room. The police in this town wouldn’t help me get a hold of the owner. We confirmed there was an indoor pool before we booked. It was unfilled and not working. Breakfast was told ahead would be 8-10am. Now here its not ready til 9 am. This place has the potential to be nice but mismanaged so poorly they aren’t going to get business or good reviews like this. Then online they advertise a 2 nite stay of $30 apiece. We were charged $75 for one night and its not worth one cent!! GO SOMEWHERE with 24/7 onsite staff that can handle problems when they arise!!

Stayed one night, room was tiny, smelly, and unsecure. At 1:00am someone came into the room while we were sleeping. Beach Bum Inn does not have secure credit card keys, but old fashioned metal keys. Management was not cooperative with the security issue.
