Lovely hotel with excellent service. Beautiful views overlooking Forrest and mountains. Sunrise and sunset views. Room large with extra sitting area room. Verandah at front and back with great views. Staff very knowledgeable and helpful. Food excellent. Even packed lunch for 4am trekking. Thank you for a great stay. Highly recommend x

I don't think you could find a more sweet, attentive and hardworking staff than those at Nyungwe Top View Hotel! We had to leave our hotel at 5 am for our Chimpanzee Trek, and the staff made sure our breakfast was packed at 4:30 am to take with us!! They also made sure we had enough time to have some coffee before we left by surprising us with some at our door. The views at the hotel quite frankly can't be beat, just absolutely beautiful. They also bring hot water bottles for your bed at night as it does get quite chilly. We had such a great time, it was really nice to come back to this hotel after a physically demanding hike! A huge thank you to the staff for helping us create such wonderful memories in Nyungwe National Park.

If you’re familiar with Rwanda travel you’re probably used to the standard delivered. The hotel is in a good location but is underwhelming, dark and badly in need of renovation. The rooms are more like small apartments with a sitting room and bathroom. They are clean but the decoration is not pretty. The balcony has a nice view which helps make the place more enjoyable though. No internet in the rooms and the internet in the lobby is slow. The food was not great and if you don’t get the inclusive package, very overpriced. You’ll be charged almost 70$ for a meal for two which you’d get for 5$ in Kigali. I recommend getting at least breakfast included because there are no options nearby the hotel to eat, probably easier to get everything included. I will say the staff are very friendly and helpful, and as the options in Nyungwe are pretty limited unless you have a very big budget, you probably could do a lot worse. I’d just keep your expectations low, it is overpriced.

Food is unexpactidly amazing... we had breakfast take away (very tasty sandwiche, lunch and dinner with salads and Steaks... All very Good... Compliments to the Chef!!! The view is outstanding and staff us SUPER!!! Rooms are comfortable and clean!!!

I’m writing this a bit late but better late than never! I stayed here for only one night in July 2023 but I would absolutely go back. The cabins are spacious and they’re great for those seeking quiet and privacy. The hotel has lovely views and I also appreciated the delicious breakfast to go for an early morning chimp trek.

The delightful surprises in terms of service at this country hotel made it a very lovely experience. The staff attention to the guests details surpasses the service we had received at the St Regis Hotel in Cairo. Specifically, when we left our room to go for dinner we found 2 umbrellas on our porch in anticipation of a drizzle which started shortly thereafter. When we used a dinner napkin for a barbecue chicken and it got dirty waiter immediately replace it with a new one, and after a hike our boots were cleaned to a pristine condition. The rooms are basic and comfortable and expectations in the Rwandan countryside should be tempered. A very nice stay and would recommend it

We had a fabulous time staying here during our vacation in Rwanda! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, we loved the rooms, and the view was great. We especially enjoyed having a fire made in our room each night. We will be back!

If you're looking for a hotel in western province of Rwanda don’t look further. Nyungwe top view hill hotel is worth considering for its overall value and pleasant. I was there with friends for the first time and it was phenomenal. One thing that i loved was the spaciousness of the rooms and how clean it was. The staff are very kind, available for any question you’d have. They helped us with an amazing breakfast when we went to see monkeys in the forest. I really loved the place how it is in the nature.

Well located, the room was really spacious, clean and most comfortable. Of the "mid-range" hotels we stayed in in Uganda and Rwanda, this was the best. Food was excellent, making it hard to resist. Staff were friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend
