Insgesamt genossen wir den Aufenthalt, die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich nett und geduldig, um unsere Fragen zu beantworten, und das Restaurant war auch wunderbar. Das WC in unserem Zimmer schien jedoch Probleme mit dem Flush haben, kann sie offenbar nicht reparieren. Trotz, empfehle ich dieses Hotel für Ihre Reise.

This hotel is really beautiful. The drive up to the hotel is like driving up to a country house in the Lake District. The hotel grounds are immaculate and very pretty. Etna can be seen from the hotel as well as views of the surrounding hills and countryside. On entry to the hotel it feels very high end, the decor is stunning and the staff on arrival were welcoming and friendly. We definitely got the feeling that nothing was too much trouble during our stay. We were informed that use of the spa throughout our stay was complimentary which was a nice touch. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted to make a reservation in the restaurant to which we agreed, however after seeing what was on offer we quickly changed our minds. There are two tasting menus available 120-150 euro per person. None of the food listed appealed to us and there was no way we were prepared to pay that price every night. Luckily we had hired a car which was much needed whilst staying at villa Neri. Sadly there is very little available in the surrounding area so in order to find nice places to eat you have to be prepared to travel. Normally this would not be an issue however it is a long way down the mountain every evening around hair pin bends and no street lighting!!! It was such a shame that the hotel didn’t offer a half board option or even a menu offering steaks or fish. We did actually eat in the restaurant on the last night as we just couldn’t face driving yet again. There was an option to choose dishes off the tasting menu separately. I chose a spaghetti dish which I was disappointed in as it was very expensive and very small. On the positive side the wine was lovely and the service amazing. The breakfast at the hotel was one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had. There was nothing that wasn’t available, everything you could possibly want was on offer and to a very high standard! The juice was so good as was the carrot cake!!! Our room was very spacious, the bed very comfortable and the cleanliness was of a very high standard. We had a couple of treatments in the spa during our stay, the price was reasonable for a spa but the facial I had was a little disappointing. All in all we enjoyed staying at Villa Nerri however we would not return due to the remote location and more importantly the lack of food options in the restaurant in the evenings. We would have loved to have eaten in the restaurant every night if only there had been some more affordable options. Thank you to all staff at the hotel who were all very welcoming and professional. If absolute peace, tranquility and luxury is what you are after then this could be the place for you but car hire is a must!!

Die Präsidentensuite des Hotels ist im Grunde die gesamte Fälschung tadellos. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen eigenen Swimmingpool, zwei Schlafzimmer, hohe Privatsphäre und ein hohes Serviceniveau. Auch das Spa des Hotels ist einen Besuch wert, nur um nach dem Schwimmen zu entspannen. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Privatstrand Beim Check-in wird eine kostenlose Inselrundfahrt angeboten und ein Shuttleservice bergauf und bergab wird angeboten. Um die Ostküste von Sizilien, mit seinen Sehenswürdigkeiten zu erkunden, haben wir uns für dieses Haus entschieden. Die Nähe zu Naxos/Taormina/Ätna, und die Busstation um die Ecke, plus privater Strand, haben die Entscheidung leicht gemacht. Ja, die Kritik im Forum, dass das Haus in die Jahre gekommen ist, stimmt, wir hätten uns es aber schlimmer vorgestellt. Da wir sowieso, einiges erkunden wollten, war dies nicht so schlimm. Riesige Lobby, (wie man es aus USA kennt) vorwiegend amerikanische Gäste, Zimmer geräumig,(wir waren im 4.Stock mit herrlichen Blick über das Meer); Personal freundlich, hilfsbereit, man spricht fließend englisch und wie gesagt, zentrale Lage. Der Strand naja. Kiesstrand, und man kommt sehr schwierig ins Meer. Bei unserem Aufenthalt, war permanent die rote Fahne draußen. Ein Steg ins Meer, wäre äußert hilfreich. Abschließend möchten wir das Restaurant loben. Wir hatten die HP gebucht, aus der man von 4 verschiedenen Gängen, 3 auswählen darf. Essen reichhaltig, von guter lokaler Qualität und auch schön für das Auge serviert.

We stayed at the hotel in August 2023, in a superior room with a sea view - unsurpassed! What I liked: 1. The location is good for our taste, because it is a little further from the noisy streets. It has its own rocky coast and access to the sea. Restaurants and souvenir shops are a 15-minute walk away. 2. The hotel is self-sufficient - there is everything for a relaxing holiday: a large swimming pool, umbrellas and deckchairs, a restaurant and bar, terraces for gatherings, access to the sea. 3. I recommend taking the Superior room with a sea view, because this room category has been updated and the balcony with a view is really impressive. Cleaned every day. There is air conditioning and a refrigerator. Good sound insulation. 4. Good breakfasts - scrambled eggs, sausages, cheese, ham, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee and a very tasty variety of pastries. We also had lunch there and ordered cocktails - very fun, friendly staff. The restaurant also has a wonderful view of the pool and the sea. 5. The territory is very nicely decorated, there are places to sit in silence. The interior of the hotel is traditionally decorated in the Sicilian style with interesting furniture and paintings. There is an elevator. 6. There is a swimming pool with sea water and different water levels, as well as showers. There is enough space for everyone. For those who can swim, there is also a great alternative to go down to the sea - there are steps from the rocks. You can walk 10 minutes to the sandy beach. There is a free zone (a bit dirty), there is a paid zone (30 euros for two people) and it is worth the money (convenience, cleanliness, nice beach, umbrellas and seats). What can be improved is to add more vegetables to breakfast. In general, I am very satisfied with this hotel and I am grateful to everyone who makes the vacation there so wonderful!

Wir genossen wirklich unseren Aufenthalt im Etna Hotel. Der ganze Ort hat so viel Charakter und authentische Stil. Das Personal war so freundlich und gerne zu helfen. Wir fühlten uns dort wirklich entspannt. Und auch das Essen im Restaurant war zu sterben! Haben Sie die sicilische Grillplatte, wir haben das Essen so viel genossen! Es ist auch wirklich nahe dem Strand und der Strand ist schön!

Splendida accoglienza di Raffaele e lo staff. Albergo piacevole, cucina eccellente, terrazza mozzafiato. Ci siamo sentiti a casa. Il borgo di Milo tranquillo e delizioso, accanto a cantine dalla storia affascinante (I vigneri tra tutti) e a due passi dai Monti Sartorius, che offrono uno splendido punto di vista dell'Etna. Speriamo di tornare presto!
