The Stay Company, Whitefriars House

This studio apartment was just perfect for us! We loved it's central location. Everything we needed was provided, tea, coffee, milk, bottled water and breakfast cereals. A real home from home. Absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Good value too.

Apartment is newly refurbished and all furniture is new. Very clean. Bed and pillows are very comfortable. Kitchen is perfctly equipped. What I appreciated very much was water, milk, oil and salt provided. I enjoyed my stay a lot. Highly recomended!

A great little apartment in a good area. It was clean and comfortable and there was a lovely welcome pack with Tea / Coffee and breakfast cereal. A nice touch was that a pint of milk was provided - great when you arrive late! The parking, although an additional cost of £15 per day, was safe and secure. There is no lift in these apartments, something to think about if you have a heavy case! There is also a bar underneath the apartments and I happened to stay on a busy student night (Wednesday). However, don't think this would be an issue if you got an apartment that wasn't street facing. Also, with apartment windows closed in the winter, you probably wouldn't be disturbed.

We stayed for two days for a family wedding. Our apartment was on the third floor and there are no passenger lifts, so please remember to ask for a apartment on the first floor if you have difficulty with climbing stairs. The location is in the centre of the city, which is a plus for accessing the city centre nightlife and shopping, but there are negatives and the main one is the noise, which is constant throughout the night, sirens, noise from venues, cars racing past and the bells of the clock located in the "Council House" clock tower. The venue offer eye masks and ear plugs, but I am not comfortable wearing either, so I had two very restless nights.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! The flat was spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The bed was good. It has high-speed Wi-Fi. Overall, my experience was excellent, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing stay. I’ll definitely be returning!"

Lovely apartment but trying to find the car park entrance is a nightmare. A sign on the wall in Spaniel Row wouldn't go astray. Once you finally get into your room it is lovely but 3 different codes, (carpark, door for the building and then keysafe for the key to the apartment).
