The room and facilities were good, as expected. My evening meal was very good, and I was not made to feel awkward as an older woman dining alone. But the best bit was the staff: the four I met were memorably lovely, a good team, and there must be an award for staff like that!

After dropping my daughter off I was in the unfortunate position of my car refusing to start. Had to call RAC then informed Reception. They were brilliant offering tea water and chips - i am diabetic so needed it! I wasn't a guest but as a woman alone I was safe. They went above and beyond in checking I was ok. As RAC callout ventured to 10pm til midnight I had to stay the night. But best customer service ever by Kyra and Peter. Gold standard.

My son and I visited the Duke Street Premier inn as a birthday treat for him to do some shopping in the city. Our first visit to this Premier Inn, and we chose it for its location so close to the shops ( I stayed recently at the PI Nelson which was not up to the usual PI standard sadly). We received a lovely welcome, and our room on the first floor was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfy, as always in a PI, there was a fan and heater in the room also which was a good touch, the fan came in handy as the room was quite warm for me. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both meals were good, again lovely friendly service from all the staff. Can't fault it in any way and would happily return. We parked in the St Andrews multi story, literally next door, found a space straight away when we arrived just before 5pm on a Friday, left around midday Saturday and it cost £17.

Bit rough around the edges but clean. Staff pleasant but I couldn’t get my room cleaned. Maybe some miscommunication there but a minor point. I also found my room too warm so maybe the plus room would have been a better option. This hotel is in a great location for restaurants, cafes and shops. Lots of medieval churches in the neighbourhood as well for interest.

Great location for Norwich Playhouse theatre and also for good restaurants. This hotel is always quiet. We normally have the breakfast, this time I guess because the breakfast room was busy, the food just kept coming from the kitchen and although a buffet style it was piping hot.
