Station Hotel

The hotel is a short walk from the railway and within easy access to the Cathedral and city centre. I stayed there for 2 nights. In the 1st night, the bathroom light was out of order as there was no one in the hotel to take care of it. Nothing was done in the following morning, and the only thing to be done is to change the room in the afternoon. The hotel looks tired and needs some touching up, yet the rooms are spacious, functional and clean, and the bed is comfortable. There is an issue with dampness in walls though it is not too serious. If you look for a budget place to sleep at night, this is the place for you.

It is not a hotel, it needs to be audited to review this hotel as 3 stars- No way! Please be aware that will not have anyone at reception, if call as they just have a desk, empty and no one, arrived at 19:30 with low battery, imagine if arrived late, probably will be sleeping at train station. It was so stressful as they dont answer the phone and when they answered after 30 or 1 hour they say they were there, but did not see and over the phone, said it has room unlocked, so they keep the rooms unlocked, anyone if have access to the building, can stay in the room. After a long journey, feel tired, and face to this it really impact and you feel disgusting with your the stay, as the shower did not work and the staff informed, it needs to turn on outside of the bathroom, but until get the answer, slept without a shower, it is not safe if you are women, please avoid at max costs asyour safe is at risk, no one at reception to support and the rooms have cobwebs, overall hotel is not well kept neither cleaned. It should not be advertised as a 3 star hotel as it is more to rent for council to homeless people. The staff tried to help my son as much as she could and she was dismissed a week before, so we really thank and appreciate her for all her help as it does not seem the owner care about. It is not worth unless you feel you are super poor, homeless and not desire a decend stay, So if you book it, do not expect to have a good stay, as you can stay outside in a cold for at least 30 min or more, and the phone they dont attend prompty

Really bad. Avoid for all costs. 1. No wifi- the receptionist lied he was fixing it but did nothing.2. No shampoo nor shower gel. The receptionist said he would check in the cupboard if there was some left by other guests. I said no and I bought my own. But it was useless because the shower did not work anyway, I had to use the wash basin . 3. Tiny towels. 4. Stains on wall, looked like blood stains. See photos. I understand the word " budget" but im my opinion budget should include hot shower. Avoid, especially when you can find Premier Inn / travelodge in very similar price. Pluses- location next to train station, and the bedsheets fresh and clean.

Doors were locked early and was standing outside for over 20 minutes before being able to get in. Staff had to get brother to let us in. Not offended breakfast when booking. No staff at desk when leaving. No tv in room all tho they say there is one. The cleanliness could have been better.

This is a really disgusting hotel, it is so rundown and no staff I came with my friend for 1 night as it was a affordable price, waiting for ages to check in the staff that where there looked confused, didn’t understand anything we said about our booking. Eventually someone came and quickly cleaned our room for about 10 minutes and then done. He said the key was in the room and there was not. Beds where not changed the pillow smelt so bad and crisps all over the carpet. Shower was dirty with blood on the shower curtain and on the walls. We didn’t even consider staying it was absolutely disgusting. No one down at reception to give us a key, we didn’t want to leave any of our stuff in the room with it unlocked. nothing organised and an absolutely pigs die. Don’t come here unless you want to feel really uncomfortable and want to stay in a dirty room.

I had a sweet time here after 30hrs of travel. Great hotel, easy to get to from Norwich Rail Station. Friendly staff and easy to book on their own website. The staff were excellent on replying to email queries and more than accommodating with adjusting booking times. The room was very good, fully functional with adequate storage space and mood lighting. Excellent shower - space and power!! Excellent TV to view if you need that in a hotel room and lots of tea/biscuits readily available. Optional continental breakfast as well, which was more than enough to start the day. Easy walk to various sites of interest nearby. Great little spot.
