Wir haben heute auch mit dem Mittagessen im Hotel Delta zusammengearbeitet, das wir als Geschäftspartner für Treffen nutzen. Meine Ernährungsanforderungen machen es schwieriger, aus zu essen, aber heute hatte ich ein schön gekochtes Mahl und sogar Dessert ohne Gluten, Milch oder alle Saatöl, die als Zutat oder Teil des Kochverfahrens verwendet wurden. Das wunderbare Personal dauerte Zeit, um vor der Ankunft die Bedürfnisse zu überprüfen, die Zeiten des Tages zu überprüfen und sicherzustellen, dass mein Essen warm und frisch war! Ich schätze die Bemühungen wirklich, es hat meinen Tag gemacht!

Had arrived from the Hilton in Harrogate which was brilliant. Had high hopes for the brand when I arrived at this hotel. Walked in to reception and all I can say is appearances can be deceiving. Once you look past the chandeliers and flowers it’s evident this isn’t up to the usual Hilton standard. The first receptionist I spoke to was either shy or new. Very basic service, more time spent looking at the screen. Had to ask the usual questions, breakfast times/location:car parking payment etc.. Got told it was on my key card. That’s great but I’m asking you in person and having stayed at many hotels this is usually standard. The rooms are very basic and the hotel does need modernising. The receptionist kindly moved me (thank you Eva) as I could hear everything in the original room I was allocated, and the adjoining door between my room and the one next door didn’t seem to secure.. I found the family room I was given slightly more modern but the beds creaked awfully. Luckily I always take ear plugs. Bathrooms had those horrible shower heads that emit shed loads of spray, not ideal if you are trying not to get your hair wet and just have a wash. They do provide shower caps though. There is also a reminder to be vigilant with the shower curtain as the spray shower heads soak everything! Food in the restaurant was mediocre but prompt. Hilton prices without quality. Had the risotto which was essentially pea and cream, no taste of mint. It was a huge portion though and served quickly. Girls on service were very friendly but had to be reminded as to service. I was also given pudding without a spoon, had to go exploring as there were no staff to help find one. Pudding was bizarre, a lemon sponge thing on a bed of granola. Tasted like a dandelion. Had intended to use the gym, but to be honest I didn’t want to stay here longer than I needed to. In sum, not awful but not great. Standard no higher than a Holiday Inn, albeit they are more modern and don’t charge their guests for parking.

Really easy when checking in, staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though we had booked without breakfast, they still gave us all the times in case we changed our mind as well as the times for the food and the bar. The room was clean and just what we needed for a getaway. Plenty of space and it had really good space to store our belongings away. Good amount of plugs, especially having one either side of the bed. Bathroom was clean and a really good size. Wifi was included, which made it more appealing as usually when we go away we have to pay extra!

Wen man günstig unterwegs sein will und zufrieden ist mit Haaren im Bad und auf der Bettwäsche, dann ist das Holiday Inn bestens geeignet. Preisleistung, auch wenn es eher im günstigen Bereich lag -katastrophe. Und das meine ich nicht abwertend, dass hat das Holiday Inn Reinigungsteam bereits selber getan. Wir führen selber ein Guest House und wissen wie es ist die Qualität hochstehend zu halten und trotzdem die Zimmer in einer nützlichen Frist reinigen zu müssen (Check out / Check in), aber Haare, kann passieren ja, aber nicht an 4 verschiedenen Orten im Zimmer. Dass ist nicht einfach ein «Missgeschick» sondern ein Mangel welcher vom Qualitätsmanagement angesprochen werden muss. Man konnte die Motivation des Reinigung-/ Zimmervorbereitung Teams auch an der Art und Weise wie die Tees, Milch und Biskuits präsentiert waren beurteilen. Ich verlange nicht mit rotem Teppich und Lindt Schokolade empfangen zu werden, aber man darf die Sachen so hinstellen, dass es zumindest eine Falle macht. Würden wir nie mehr buchen, da lohnt es sich £10-20 mehr zu bezahlen und man fühlt sich wohl. Geschlafen haben wir gut, das Personal war sehr freundlich. Gegenüber war ein Restaurant. Genug Parkplätze standen zur Verfügung.

Stayed here for a couple of nights and it was great. Spacious room with a fridge and safe nice big tv also a digital radio and a very good aircon unit to keep things cool in the heat. Nice coffee pod machine with a choice of pods also tea bags and coffee bags and biscuits- Nice comfy corner seat with foot rest and an office chair at desk and wooden seat in front of mirror- Very nice soaps in bathroom Hand soap Shower gel and shampoo Body location These were lovely and used morning noon and night- You can purchase them when you leave if you wish to take home - You also get fluffy robes and slippers and night mask and pillow spray Trouser press came in handy Dinner was great a delicious Burger and a crunchy lamb starter - The bed was super comfy Breakfast was also delicious I recommend the eggs Benedict they were perfect you also get a help your self area with pastries bread cereal fruit etc All the staff were helpful informative friendly and enthusiastic 10 out of 10 Nice décor though the hotel A nice spa area with steam room sauna big jacuzzi and a pool- Nice outdoor area to sit and have a drink if the weather is nice - I could go on A great experience from start to finish Plenty of parking and pubs shops supermarkets within walking distance 10 out of 10 5 stars Next time we are in the area this is where we will be staying .

Hier am Wochenende mit Freunden geblieben; schönes Zimmer, genießen Sie das Abendessen und ein Fab Frühstück. Ich empfehle es. Der einzige Nebeneffekt war, dass für alle Getränke, die Sie nicht angemeldet haben, eine Servicegebühr zu zahlen ist. Wir haben unsere Bar-Gebühr angefordert, weil es nicht sinnvoll war und wurde von einem Mitarbeiter gesagt, dass bei allen Kaufen eine 10%-Gebühr zu zahlen ist. Es gibt keine Anzeigen um die Bar-Zone, die Sie davon informieren. Wir wurden gesagt, dass das Personal nicht erlaubt ist, Ihnen darüber zu sagen. Für mich scheint es betrügerisch. Sicherlich können Sie nicht für etwas beschuldigt werden, das Sie nicht über jedes Mal, wenn Sie zur Bar gehen und einen Drink kaufen? Wenn das Unternehmens-Politik ist, brechen sie das Gesetz durch nicht zu informieren? Bitte beachten Sie.

Dies war eine Last-Minute-Buchung, kam buchstäblich im Hotel an und stürzte ab und wachte früh am Morgen auf und war draußen. Ich habe das Hotel nicht wirklich ausgecheckt, aber den Job gemacht. Oh und ihr Frühstück ist gut.
