All in all the stay was good or okay. The staff was friendly, the room was nice and clean. Unfortunately it was really hot and there was no ac. The fan only worked on the highest level super fast so there was a lot of wind, which hurt my throat. I asked for some hot water to make myself some tea but that wasn’t possible. My partner found out there was a nice terrace on the day we left - would be great to know about that earlier. Also the warm shower water didn’t work- only sometimes for a short period in the afternoon.

Sehr komfortabel Aufenthalt. Personal war sehr alertig und schnell in ihren Diensten. Desmond ist eine sehr sorgfältige und hilfsbereite Person. Er nimmt persönliches Interesse an allem. Mein Sohn hatte einen kleinen Schnitt am Finger, so dass wir um Ditol gebeten. Desmond kam persönlich mit dem ersten Hilfspaket und nahme an ihm teil. Ich empfehle diesen Ort sehr an alle, die mich treffen, die einen Reiseplan nach Goa planen.

Die Ausstattung des Hotels war topnotch, und der Schwimmbad ist aufgrund seiner einladenden Atmosphäre und seines preisgebenden Zustands besonders hervorgehoben.
Die Küchenerfahrung im Taj Cidad de Goa Horizon war ebenso beeindruckend. Die breite Palette von Frühstücksoptionen, die jeden Morgen zur Verfügung stand, war eine angenehme Möglichkeit, den Tag zu beginnen, zu essen mit einer Vielzahl von Geschmacks- und Präferenzen. At the cafe during bfast, we were served by Shivram. He made sure we did not miss a thing! Shivram, we were looking out for you over the next few days, but maybe you were on another shift. Great Service, Shivram! Last but not least, Syantika! Although you are a newbie, you did not seem like a newbie at all! Your charm and must-do attitude, awesome! Both my wife and me felt, that your truthfulness in attending to a query that we asked you, and getting an almost immediate response, just speaks a thousand words! PPrateek DahiyaRecently stayed at the Hilton Goa and had a pleasant yet inconsistent experience. The room itself was excellent - very spacious with a large king bed, beautiful furnishings, and sparkling clean bathrooms. The location was also ideal.The breakfast spread was nice.
However, the swimming pool was a major disappointment. There seemed to be an overabundance of chlorine or other chemicals in the water that made it uncomfortable to swim in. My eyes stung badly after just a few minutes in the pool … it was basically unusable throughout my stay which was unfortunate.Also there is scope of improvement in the healthclub as well!
The hotel staff were courteous and professional but lacked some warmth and hospitality I would expect from a high-end resort. I wouldn't call them rude by any means, but they stuck strictly to business with little smiling or engaging conversation. I was hoping for staff that went the extra mile to create a more welcoming environment.
Overall, the Hilton Goa has a lot going for it in terms of room and location. They need to address the pool chemical imbalance and inject more hospitality into their service to excel as a premier 5* hotel. The foundation is there but some tweaks could make this a truly worldclass hotel dest.Thanks

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. The room was big and clean and cool. The bathroom was nice, however they only give you one tiny toilet roll, spare would’ve been nice. We had two big bottles of water in our room but our room did not get cleaned or replenished during our stay. The beach bar (Bongos) had really friendly staff and good service. The food was nice and also cheap. There is a private beach area, which is nice but also far from the sea in low tide. There’s also a nice pool area which is lovely if you need a break from the sea and sand. It’s a very rustic place, the huts looked really cool however our room was very pleasant. All rooms have an outdoor seating area. Baga beach itself is pretty hectic, so this is a nice distance away from the party *****, but not too far to walk. We didn’t get a Tuk Tuk or taxi once when we were there as there is plenty within walking distance from the hotel.

GGastnutzerDie Lage von Riva ist ausgezeichnet. Recht am ruhigsten Teil des Strandes, aber immer noch sehr zugänglich zu Strandschachen und Restaurants. Es gibt 3 Pools auf den Räumlichkeiten und die Spa-Dienste sind großartig. Check-in und check-out war so reibungslos. Ich wünsche mir wirklich, dass ich Riva höher bewerten könnte, weil es ein schönes Resort mit gastfreundlichem Personal und es das Potenzial hat, sehr entspannend zu sein. Allerdings war das Essen eine gewaltige Abnahme. Goa ist bekannt als eine erstaunliche Küchenerfahrung, und ich wünschte Riva konnte Lebensmittel anbieten, die nach den Goan-Standards. Ich bestellte eine Suppe im Kaffee und es war unterstandard, zumindest zu sagen. Die Sambhar- und Veggrave am nächsten Morgen wurde abgewässert und dann übersalzt. Es gibt Arbeit zu tun und ich werde warten, bis ich bessere Lebensmittel Bewertungen höre, bevor ich empfehle oder wieder besuchen.

GGuest UserNothing at fault at all. Room was great so as the hotel itself and the location. Food was amazing . Lots of options including pancakes waffles egg Benedict and ***y more, all freshly backed, cooked .
Will defo go back there again if ever we visit Goa.
Hotel staff were also friendly, smart, passionate and respectful. Great experience over all.

GGuest UserThe location is right on the beach and near to lots of bars and restaurants. At the moment, there is a rule in Arambol about live music stopping at 10pm so it isn't overly loud. You can hear the sea when the music is not playing. It is at the quieter end of Arambol beach (regarding sunbathing tourists) which I liked but there is still music playing. This may or may not appeal.
The room was basic, but clean when I arrived. I stayed for 6 nights, and they never came into my room. Not to clean, not to empty the bathroom bin. Not for any reason. That is fine by me as I am ok to empty my own bin, but may bother others. The linens and towels were old but clean.
Weirdly, I asked for an extra toilet roll after day 4, and I was told I was entitled to only one but that they would make an exception! The length of your stay appears to be irrelevant to the amount of provisions. They also didn't provide a top sheet. I asked for one and he seemed uncertain if I cold have one and said he would let me know later, then forgot (and apologised later). They said I had a blanket and could use that - but those are rarely cleaned so I didn't want to use it next to my skin. It was actually okay as I didn't end up needing it, but if there had been lots of mosquitoes there would have been zero barrier.
The owners were friendly and said hello whenever I passed them.

GGuest UserI stayed for five nights and paid 16,700 Indian Rupees, which is about 172 British Pounds. This means that I paid 34 Pounds per night. What did I get for 34 Pounds a night? Read below: “Hotel”?: It is NOT a hotel. Stop advertising it as a “hotel”. Reception: This is essentially the front house where the family that runs Garden Villa lives. You will not see anyone most of the time at the “reception” and will need to stand at the steps/entrance and look into the house expectantly and someone will come out and attend to you. That is reception for you. Garden: The “garden” is essentially a few patches of grass and a few average looking plants that grow nearly everywhere in Goa. If you are lucky, you will get a room that overlooks this “garden”. If you are not lucky, you will have a view overlooking a back street, or worse. Swimming Pool: Don’t be fooled by the swimming pool. It is a really small and shallow pool in open air – let us face it, Indians don’t have much of a swimming pool tradition/culture. The pool is about 10-15 meters from a very dusty and busy road. The pool is not covered so you can imagine dust, bird droppings, debris from trees, and heavens know what, fall into the pool. During my five-days stay, I did not see anyone cleaning it. I saw only once someone using it - a group of young Indian men having what looked like a bath. WiFi: Poor and intermittent. I would not say more. Room: Utterly utterly average room with a double bed, a table, a coat hanger, a TV (see below), a mirror, and small bucket as a dustbin (see photos). Absolutely nothing else. TV: NO FREE CHANNELS. TV was not connected to any network or cable in my room. I needed to ask the reception three times to come and connect it with cable, dish, or anything. They finally put a plug-in device (a kind or WiFi access point), which enabled the TV to receive Amazon Prime, Netflix, and some Indian channels. BUT you must pay for them. They are NOT free. Mattress and pillow: Utterly poor quality and old mattress and pillow, which hadn’t been well maintained and cleaned. The Garden Villa ***agement tried to cover the old mattress with a foam cover which was a little short and shrunk at the corners (see photos). Bathroom: Probably the worst bathroom you will get for 34 British Pounds a night. Toilet was old and rickety, paint was peeling off the walls and also off the rusty toilet door. Sink, taps, and mirror were looked uncleaned with signs of mould (or mold). Fridge: NO FRIDGE IN THE ROOM. Again, in most hotels you will find a fridge but not at Garden Villa. If you are in Goa, you cannot do without a fridge. It is very warm and hot throughout the year, and you will badly miss a fridge. But sadly rooms come with NO FRIDGE. Room service: You will need to ask the “reception” for someone to come around and clean the room. If you don’t ask, no-one is going to come around. Restaurant: No restaurant at Garden Villa.
