Das letzte Mal, als wir in dieses Hotel gingen, trafen wir eine sehr moderne, renovierte Rezeption, wo es keinen armen Sitz für Sent**** gibt. Was würde wunderbar, da sie wartet, um den Eincheck zu machen ist ewig. Wir sind um 12 Uhr im Hotel gekommen, und bis 14.00h konnten wir nicht in unser Zimmer eingehen. Alles das ohne vorherige Ankündigung, wenn wir es buchen. Und am Tag, als wir aus dem Zimmer gingen, gingen wir zum Frühstück, ohne das Kartell ”Zimmer reparieren”, und sie kamen mit all unseren Dingen rein (wir verstehen nicht so schnell, uns zu verwerfen, Wenn der nächste Kunde ihn nicht bis 14.00h einlassen wird). Um unseren wunderbaren Aufenthalt zu beenden, lassen wir uns einen Ladegerät in der Nachtmasse. Nach einer Stunde kamen wir zurück (da wir dachten, dass sie den Ladegerät in verlorenen Gegenständen gespeichert hätten) und nicht nur haben sie es uns nicht zurückgegeben, sondern auch uns sehr schlecht behandelt. Sie sagten, sie würden uns anrufen, wenn sie ihn finden, aber das war nicht der Fall. Auch nach zwei Wochen gingen Familien zum gleichen Hotel und beanspruchten den Ladegerät. Die Antwort des Hotelservices war: Wir haben keine Zeit, ihn zu suchen. Ungeachtet dessen, dass das gesamte Rezeptionspersonal keine Bildung hatte. Um etwas Gutes zu sagen, die Zimmer waren richtig.

Location: the hotel is centrally located in Norrköping. Filmstaden with restaurants is less than a minute away. There is parking available in the Filmstaden parking structure. Check-in: the receptionist on duty was friendly and helpful. Room: the room was fairly dated and was overlooked by nearby apartments. The corridors at the hotel are dark and depressing. The room and bathroom were clean and that was a positive. The room was boiling hot despite there being a fan and us opening the windows when it cooled down outside. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. Breakfast: a fairly standard Swedish hotel breakfast down in the basement. We still had to sign up for a time to have breakfast despite all Covid measures being dropped months earlier in Sweden. Wifi: perfectly adequate complimentary wifi. Overall: would we stay again? Yes, depending on the price. The location is excellent for exploring the city on foot.

Charming Boutique Hotel! The only reason I have rated Service as Good is because our experience at the Lamp Hotel started off on the wrong foot, thanks to Cecelia behind the front desk. Our initial conversation with her was so awkward and rude, we just looked at each other shocked that she was so unprofessional:( She was so rude to us upon entering the hotel. We politely asked if we could try to check in early. She looked us up and down head to toe with such an off putting attitude and did not even reciprocate in conversation when we asked other questions. Another couple came into the lobby right after us, and she immediately shifted her conversation to them, leaving us standing there speechless, as she began a conversation with them in Swedish. We had arrived so tired, but so excited, as my friend had already stayed at The Lamp Hotel, and had filled me in on how great the hotel was. Cecelia was not warm or friendly to us from the get go, nor accommodating to even offer to take our luggage to store until check in. We had to ask her to do this for us, and my friend literally had to ask her her name about 2 times, before she would acknowledge her question or look in our direction as we asked her questions. We had just traveled 9 hours by flight from the US, and her attitude and personality was not welcoming in any way. We thought we had made a huge mistake booking at the Lamp because of her. We were so glad we did not have to see her again during our whole stay. She was terrible and needs training on empathy, people skills, and basic hospitality. She may not be the best option for behind the front desk as the first point of contact for your hotel. Now once we got past this terrible welcome, we enjoyed our stay so much. The hotel and rooms were gorgeous. The rest of the staff were lovely. The entire hotel is clean, sexy and wonderful! The location is wonderful, the lobby is so chic. The spa is GREAT. The bathrooms are spacious and lovely. I enjoyed my picture window, the tasteful decor and all little details. Housekeeping is PERFECTION. I did breakfast each morning and the kitchen and staff there are INCREDIBLE. They all deserve raises. They were hustling, serving, cleaning, and just a vision of unity and of how to run a kitchen:) The way they all worked and got on so well with each other, was so nice to see. Overall, besides our rude welcome thanks to Cecelia, I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and WOULD stay again. I plan to go back and stay with my husband when we visit Sweden later this year.

Ich war dort für Arbeit nach einer sehr erschöpfenden Reise in Indien. Hotel Staff war sehr respektvoll, mich nicht zu stören, aber gleichzeitig war immer verfügbar, wenn ich Hilfe benötigt. Zimmer sind super gemütlich und nehmen Sie zurück in der Zeit mit der vintage Dekor. Die einzigen Nachteile waren, dass ich wirklich nicht viel Platz in meinem Zimmer und es nicht viele Optionen im Frühstücksbuffet, aber vielleicht ist das nur nordische Stil. Personal war sehr kooperativ über E-Mail sogar nach meiner Abreise. Strand machte meinen Aufenthalt viel weniger stressig und müde, als ich fürchtete.

Ich wünschte, ich könnte 5 Sterne geben, aber wegen des Services, es fiel runter. Das Zimmer war ausgezeichnet, wie das Frühstück und die Küche. Allerdings war der Service nur depressiv. Der Mann, der uns als Konter begrüßte, sah aus, als wollte er irgendwo anders sein, aber dort, mit Apple AirPods in seinen Ohren und einem Blick auf sein Gesicht, der nicht willkommen war. Er gab uns keine Informationen über die Einrichtungen, gab uns einfach den Schlüssel und weist uns auf die Richtung unseres Zimmers hin. Am nächsten Morgen hat uns niemand im Personal gegrüßt und versucht, zu ihnen zu lächeln, wie versucht, zu einem tötenden Gazelle zu lächeln. Ich verstehe nicht, warum ein so schönes Hotel Mitarbeiter einstellen würde, die nicht einmal einfache soziale Fähigkeiten nutzen oder ihre Gäste nicht einmal anerkennen können. Ich würde nicht zurückkommen, weil das.

Das Hotel ist einfach zu erreichen und hat auch einen eigenen Parkplatz sollte man mit dem Auto anreisen. Wir wurden sehr freundliche empfangen und konnten das moderne und saubere Zimmer direkt beziehen. Die Ausstattung und auch die Einrichtung hat mir grosse Freude bereitet. Leider hat das Bett beim sich Drehen immer wieder sehr laute Knarz Geräusche verursacht, da sollte ein bisschen optimiert werden. Das vielseitige Frühstück hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich würde dieses Hotel wieder buchen

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, the rooms were clean and specious enough. Loved the idea of fold down bunk beds, when folded up the room obviously felt bigger. Free parking with plenty of parking spaces and only a short trip from the city centre. Breakfast was great with plenty to choose from. The pool was very cold but the kids enjoyed it for a bit anyway.
