Hotel Maggior Consiglio

Gutes Standardhotel mit kleinen Zimmern. Dass die Wasserwelt zu unseren Terminen geschlossen war, konnten sie schon im Vorfeld mitteilen, anstatt dafür zu werben. Dann hätte ich ein günstigeres Hotel gebucht.

We were 4 mature Welsh Rugby supporters staying in Treviso for a rugby match. Great and clean room, friendly staff, great breakfast with lots of choice's, pool included in price but it's not available during group sessions for couple hours a day. 10 mins away from Treviso airport which is very convenient. The hotel staff were excellent and accommodating. They were always ready to assist with any inquiries or requests, which made the stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The breakfast was a generous continental offering with unlimited amount of drinks and food.

This hotel is fine - no luxury but very fine. Breakfast was fine and coffee. It takes around 5 min by car to down town ( by the way very difficault to park car there) Good parking space around the hótel. Room was ráðherra big and bed very good. . . . .

I cannot recommend this hotel at all. They do not take their customers seriously and they are happy to sell a product they do not have. Explanation: We had booked the hotel for a single day. We booked it because they advertised their SPA / Pool area which looked great, but when we arrived in the afternoon the whole area was closed down, big disappointment when you have been driving for a long time and just needed to relax. There was a sign at the check-in counter that the pool will be closed on the 6/8, but we arrived the day before and it was closed. Nothing was written in the confirmation mail from them. If so we would have canelled and found another hotel. In addition to this huge minus which they will not refund, there were other problems with the hotel: • Could not get hot water for the bathtub, so we could not enjoy that either. • An air conditioner that can only go down to 22 degrees, is not comfortable when you have to sleep. • On the other hand, it was so cold in their restaurant in the morning that you froze while sitting there. • The breakfast was terrible. Day-old bread, half-rotten fruit, bacon that was either not fried or it was burnt. • For lunch we could only choose one dish from their menu which otherwise looked delicious - on paper. Normally I do not write bad reviews, but the hotel has been contacted several times and will not give any form of compensation nor do the take any responsibility at all, therefore I have chosen to describe my experience. I also met 2 others at the hotel the day we were there and they had the same experience.

15m walking from the center of Treviso. There's a bus station near. Missing a snacks vending machine, since at 23h there's nothing near to have a meal. If you want to visit Venice: from Hotel to Treviso: 7m (bus)+ 25m (train).

Nice rooms, comfortable beds, cleaning would be okay, the breakfast also good. Unfriendly staff at the reception, ignorant waiters at the bar, but the Spa was simply a nightmare. The Spa receptionist always found a new reason to calculate extra fee, incorrect behavior, she had no idea about the hospitality. Her manner made us feeling unwell, so after 30 min Spa using, we left it.
