Hotel got a refurb this year, and looks nice on paper. Staff very service minded, BUT that is also to cater for a few shortcomings. * Pool/sauna great, but they lack pool towels. Asking reception or housekeeping for an extra one on the room is just cumbersome. * Restaurant 'Baron' has nice HB dinners, a la carte also looks fine. But nothing like an amuse or bread with oil with the drinks, then the wait for the meal courses is long. Great staff, they found a replacement dessert for us as the standard offer was not our taste. Spacious rooms, often with shared balcony. Great buffet breakfast. Good free walking and biking routes.

Wir waren über Silvester zu zweit, als junges Paar, für einen Kurzurlaub im Hotel De Roode Schuur. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Positives: - Getränkegutschein für das Restaurant nebenan, weil wir vor der, von uns angegebenen, CheckIn-Uhrzeit bereits vor Ort waren und das Zimmer noch nicht bereit war - Generell sehr freundliches Personal - Zusätzliches Hygiene-Paket (Toilettenpapier, Handtücher, Zahnputzbecher, Tee und Kaffee), mehr als von uns erbeten - Zimmer-Upgrade, weil unser Aufenthalt etwas länger als „normal“ war - Traditionelles „Holzschuhe vor die Tür stellen“, statt ein Bitte-nicht-stören-Schild - Gute Einrichtung der Zimmer, modern und sauber Negatives: - Hinzugebuchte Rosenblätter waren leider unecht und wenn man hierbei den Umweltaspekt beachtet und dafür 7,50€ bezahlt, sollte man online darauf hingewiesen werden, dass es sich nicht um echte Rosenblätter handelt - Handseife war leider nur ein Stück Kernseife ohne Halterung und wir mussten eine Ablage improvisieren. Vorschlag: Flüssigseife oder Kernseife MIT Halterung - Die Dusche war leider komplett offen, sodass das Wasser nicht nur in der Duschkabine blieb, sondern auf und unter die Toilette spritzte bzw. lief Uns hat unser Aufenthalt, trotz der negativen Punkte, gut gefallen und wir würden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und behalten es gut in Erinnerung.

Wir hatten das Deluxe-Zimmer mit Whirlpool gebucht. Das Zimmer und das Bad waren groß und alles sauber. Genügend Ablageflächen vorhanden. Das Bett sah leider etwas mitgenommen aus und mir persönlich war die Matratze zu hart. Ansonsten war aber alles top. Super tolles und vielfältiges Frühstück und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, wenn wir nochmal nach Holland reisen.
