Stayed here in April 23 for 4 nights with adult teenage daughter in a triple room. This is a lovely hotel, the location is excellent, just off the Promanade de Anglais and about a 12 -15 lovely walk to the old town of Nice. The hotel is vey easy to get to from the Airport, just get the number 2 tram right outside the entrance of the airport (it's 1.50 euro) one way (bargain) and get off at the tram stop Alsace-Lorraine and then it's about a 5 or 6 min walk straight down the road to the hotel (it's really easy). On arrival at the hotel we were met by the great reception team who checked us in efficiently and very quickly told us all about the meal times for breakfast, the free water filler and the free drink in the bar if you don't have your room cleaned. The rooms are spacious, very clean and have everything you need, safety deposit box, decent storage, shower and bath with all required toiletries, airconditioning and very comfy beds. We asked for an iron and ironing board on arrival and we got one delivered to our room within minutes. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis, and breakfast was delicious, fresh Orange/apple juice, coffee and tea machine, hot food was scrambled eggs (which were fantastic) sausages, bacon and has browns and cold food was, fresh fruit, yogurts, pastries, sandwiches, cold meats and cereal. Breakfast was well presented, tasted great and we all enjoyed it everyday - so book for B&B if you can. The hotel is in a lovely location on a quiet tree lined street, away from the bustle of the centre of Nice, but not too far that it isn't easily accessible for everything else. There is a supermarket about 5 mins away on the road straight in front of the hotel as you walk to the sea front. We never had any issues with noise at night either outside or inside the hotel it was very peaceful. The hotel staff are helpful, efficient, friendly and only too happy help with any queries you may have, excellent customer service at all times. The hotel is situated about a 10 min walk from the Ville Nice train station and from here you can get to all of the wonderful places to vistit along the Cote D'Azur - the trains are reliable and well priced, we found getting out and about really easy. Highlights from our trip have to be Cannes and the absolute gem Menton (what a place that is - so gorgeous). We were fortunate with the glorious weather, mid 20's every day (27 in Cannes) and very little cloud , perfect. I have no hesitation what so ever in recommending this hotel, it's a great place to base yourself whilst in Nice, well located and lovely service, the south of France does not disappoint, it is beautiful. I will definatley be returning to this hotel again when I re-visit the area, it's fab. Book and enjoy.
