Hotel is in a great location and room was amazing with a beautiful sea view (thank you for accommodating this request). Room was clean and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a let down was the bar cafe and having to wait nearly an hour for food as the poor young lad was apparently still in training and had been left on his own on a Friday night so he kept getting interrupted when trying to do food we didn't complain as it was not his fault he kept getting interrupted by other guests who needed serving. So I would like to give a special shout out to Callum on the bar Friday night your service was amazing you were so polite and apologetic even though it wasn't your fault and you cooked the food to perfection. Also shout out to i think it was AJ i didn't quite see your name badge the assistant manager who checked us in you were so friendly and helpful and it is funny how whenever me and my partner go away we always find someone who knows our local area too. Thank you Newquay we will see you again in June

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt im OYO Newquay Beach Hotel wirklich genossen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war froh, dass ich aufgrund der hohen Auslastung ein Upgrade von einem Einzel- auf ein Doppelbettzimmer bekommen habe. Die Lage ist gut, da es in der Nähe des Bahnhofs (ca. 5 Minuten) und 2 Minuten vom Meer entfernt ist. Ich habe das Essen im eleganten Restaurant genossen und fand den Service freundlich.

I did not stay here I am reviewing the bar restaurant at the hotel which I visited a number of times on my holiday in the area. The bar is wonderful sitting inside or out for its fabulous views of the beach and coastline. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's clean bright and airy. We did have some nachos to share as a snack but whilst they were nicely presented, hot and crisp, the ingredients were not fresh. I don't mean they were past their best but the salsa was obviously from a jar or the like and so was the guacamole as it had the texture and appearance of light green custard rather than being made from avocado. It just tasted savory rather than tasting like guacamole and the cheese used was very mild grade, not being very tasty.

Personal war freundlich und willkommen, was nach einer langen Reise die wichtigste ist. Das Zimmer war sauber und vor allem gut ausgestattet, um Ihren Aufenthalt zu unterstützen. Schamlos haben wir die Straßenblicke anstatt die Strandblicke.

Reviewing for the restaurant, I haven't stayed at the hotel but if it is anything like their food and service, then top drawer. Visited around a dozen times for their very unique Sunday roasts. Massive platter filled with your choice of roast meat and a massive helping of vegetables, roast spuds etc. Way too much for two sharing, really! If you are wanting a desert then good luck, I'm stuffed!

This hotel was nice. The breakfasts were nice and enjoyable. Anthony gave good service to me when I had my breakfasts. His service was great. All the staff members I encountered were nice. The only thing that was a bit of a downfall was that there was no door sign for me to put in front of my door. I did ask at reception if they had any (as there wasn't one in my room) but they didn't unfortunately. The hotel has a nice view of the sea and everything is walkable. Overall, in my opinion, a nice hotel.
