Best Western Wakefield Hotel St Pierre Bewertungen

This stay was hindered by the lift being out of order for the 4 days we were there. The room was spotless as usual, we had a room at the rear of the hotel which suited us better it was quieter. There was quite a few inconsiderate guests this visit, it is Christmas so we expected some party goers but noisy good-night and plans made to meet for breakfast from 12.30 through to 4am stopped any hope of sleep. The other three nights were fine as usual. There was also an issue parking due to a Christmas party. Hotel patrons should have priority, perhaps each room having parking allocation would help. We will be staying again in the not to distant future as the location is ideal for us.

Back again for another nights stay. Choose this hotel again as it was just what we needed last time Great customer service on the reception

Vert friendly welcome, the reception area was spotlessly clean. Our room was ready, it was also spotlessly clean and everything I required was at hand. We had a blocked sink on our 2nd day, it was all sorted by the time we returned to our room. The hotel decor is a little dated but that was no matter. We will definitely stay again.

Stayed here before for a special occasion. Room was great. Same again. Food is very nice and reasonably priced. Happy friendly staff. Good ameneties close by. Family friendly as well.

Excellent service from staff very helpful and courteous, cleanliness was superb very spacious rooms and clean bar area was very good also good selection of drinks available and good evening food in restaurant with a good selection also would thoroughly recommend for the price also

Ideal for a reasonably priced stay. We stayed for 2 nights. We were told it had been renovated recently. Everything was clean but very basic ie shower curtain. Was a bit disappointed, the receptionist was very chatty and nice. Didn’t have any food but could recommend the fox and hounds across the road. Ideal for us as have family nearby and would stay again.

We stayed here one night as a stop off for York. The staff were very friendly and polite, Bed was comfortable and shower hot. and the breakfast in the morning was lovely. We found two pubs within walking distance, both offering live music. The Fox and Hounds, and The Dam Inn, both pubs were welcoming.

very clean, staff friendly and a quiet location. understandably rooms plain as I believe it will be getting a full renovation in the near future as he has done to his other hotels. would stay again cooked breakfast was nice,only small choice of cereal.

We recently spent the night here after deciding to stay away last minute and the Hotel st Pierre was coming up at a great price. Upon arrival the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the reception and bar area were lovely and clean. Although the rooms were all the same standard, it was newly refurbished, had all the conveniences needed including Flatscreen TV, USB ports in the room, tea/coffee and hairdryer and bath with shower. Super clean and very comfortable, a real nice suprise! There’s food onsite, but a 2 min will walk take you to some eateries and pubs…. Definitely worth the money and will be staying again! Thanks to all the staff who make this a great little independent hotel stay!

A good nights sleep and a friendly welcome.The only criticism was the blandness of the room soulless.A print or two of the local areas Newmillerdam lake an idea.Comfy pillows n bed .Not an executive room as we expected just four blank walls ,shame

Lovely big room. It had 8 power points and 6 USB ports! A record for me, the water was very hot , shower worked well. The bed super comfy with firm pillows. Car parking easy and the room was quiet at the back of the hotel. Breakfast was good too, croissants very nice , my wife loved her omelette.

Had a very comfortable stay here. The bed and pillows were excellent, so had a very good night sleep. And that is on the top of my priority list. The bathroom was very clean and top notch. My only negative was that the room we had was a bit bland, lacking colour and character, but that was of no real consequence, and for the very competitive price we paid, would not have expected anything grand. The hotel was also close to a country park with lake which was perfectr for a nice walk.

Hotel was a bit dated and untidy, although there has been some level of refurb the finish of the rooms isn’t great and the bed was in need of replacement. Clean, basic and sufficient for a one night stay. Location was lovely and parking onsite.
