This stay was hindered by the lift being out of order for the 4 days we were there. The room was spotless as usual, we had a room at the rear of the hotel which suited us better it was quieter. There was quite a few inconsiderate guests this visit, it is Christmas so we expected some party goers but noisy good-night and plans made to meet for breakfast from 12.30 through to 4am stopped any hope of sleep. The other three nights were fine as usual. There was also an issue parking due to a Christmas party. Hotel patrons should have priority, perhaps each room having parking allocation would help. We will be staying again in the not to distant future as the location is ideal for us.

Vert friendly welcome, the reception area was spotlessly clean. Our room was ready, it was also spotlessly clean and everything I required was at hand. We had a blocked sink on our 2nd day, it was all sorted by the time we returned to our room. The hotel decor is a little dated but that was no matter. We will definitely stay again.

Stayed here before for a special occasion. Room was great. Same again. Food is very nice and reasonably priced. Happy friendly staff. Good ameneties close by. Family friendly as well.

The Hotel St Pierre was in a good location for us and had plenty parking space. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast not that great but all in all our stay was good value for money. Close to lake and village with good restaurants. We recommend.

On arrival the first thing you notice is the amount of parking which is available, the building does look a little bit tired from the outside. The person who checked us in was friendly, informative, you have to register your car in the parking device which was no issue. We had a room on the 2nd floor, when we came out the lift, the corridor was very dark and the overall appearance looks a bit outdated. The room itself was clean, bright and well presented, looks like it had been updated recently, the bathroom was fair size however did not match the standard of the bedroom, outdated, chipped flooring and the bath was cracked. Not sure why you would update the room and not the bathroom. Bed was very comfortable and we slept like a log, with being at the front of the hotel there was some road noise, didn’t keep us awake or anything. We ate in the bar the menu is quite restricted however quality and quantity of food was spot on, tasty and good value for the price. Bar has a good selection drinks and again reasonably priced for a hotel. Breakfast was in the bar area ,small selection of continental, you can have something cooked along with some continental. I had an omelette and husband had a cooked breakfast, staff member on breakfast duty was friendly and very helpful even got my husband some fried bread which wasn’t on the menu. Food was tasty and well presented. Location of the hotel is perfect and well situated for walking in the local and surrounding area. For what we paid for the room and breakfast was more than good value, all staff were friendly and attentive which is what you want.

The reception staff were very friendly and the decor and cleanliness of the room were superb. There werec2 things that let it down. However not enough to spoil my stay, one the restaurant wasn't open for dinner and 2 at breakfast the bacon had black bits on it and was very fatty.

Brilliant hotel comfy beds would have been ever better if they was room service 🙂 there wasn't no chef when we stopped so we couldn't eat which was disappointing.staff absolutely brilliant people very helpful.brilliant parking spaces x

Excellent service from staff very helpful and courteous, cleanliness was superb very spacious rooms and clean bar area was very good also good selection of drinks available and good evening food in restaurant with a good selection also would thoroughly recommend for the price also

Ideal for a reasonably priced stay. We stayed for 2 nights. We were told it had been renovated recently. Everything was clean but very basic ie shower curtain. Was a bit disappointed, the receptionist was very chatty and nice. Didn’t have any food but could recommend the fox and hounds across the road. Ideal for us as have family nearby and would stay again.

We stayed here one night as a stop off for York. The staff were very friendly and polite, Bed was comfortable and shower hot. and the breakfast in the morning was lovely. We found two pubs within walking distance, both offering live music. The Fox and Hounds, and The Dam Inn, both pubs were welcoming.

very clean, staff friendly and a quiet location. understandably rooms plain as I believe it will be getting a full renovation in the near future as he has done to his other hotels. would stay again cooked breakfast was nice,only small choice of cereal.

We recently spent the night here after deciding to stay away last minute and the Hotel st Pierre was coming up at a great price. Upon arrival the staff were so friendly and welcoming and the reception and bar area were lovely and clean. Although the rooms were all the same standard, it was newly refurbished, had all the conveniences needed including Flatscreen TV, USB ports in the room, tea/coffee and hairdryer and bath with shower. Super clean and very comfortable, a real nice suprise! There’s food onsite, but a 2 min will walk take you to some eateries and pubs…. Definitely worth the money and will be staying again! Thanks to all the staff who make this a great little independent hotel stay!
