"Good location. 8 - 10 mins from train station. Located at city center easy to access anywhere to China town, shopping mall and restaurants. Staff is cool without smile face, quick check in and check out. Room is clear and good size for big luggage. However a bit noisy at the night time because there’s a disco next to the hotel, weekend will be party at the night til late. Overall is good for us and will consider to stay next time."

"Das Grainger Hotel ist ein schönes Hotel überhaupt. Das Zimmer ist sauber und der Zähler ist sehr hilfreich. Es gibt einen Supermarkt in der Nähe, so dass Sie alles erhalten können, was Sie brauchen. Es wäre ein 30-minute Spaziergang von Station zu Hotel und Sie müssen ein wenig Gradient zu Fuß. Die Straßen können schmutzig sein, so leg keine Taschen auf den Boden. "

"Ehrlich gesagt, die Größe des Zimmers übersteigt meine Vorstellung, eine sehr großzügige Wohnung. Die Einrichtung der Küche sollte alles haben, um selbst Frühstück und Abendessen zu machen. Wir haben eine Nacht, um uns selbst Meeresfrüchte zu essen, können Kleidung waschen, es gibt ein Gefühl der Familie, die Einrichtungen sind veraltet. Die Reise ist auch sehr bequem, sehr nah an den Bahnhöfen und den Supermärkten, das nächste Mal wird es auch hier überdenken."

All Staff are a credit to the hotel, with spacious rooms, cleanliness top notch, everything you could need and require in your room, so many items that you would not even realise you would need was in the room, I liked the fact had a small functioning kitchen with hob and dishwasher, a recliner sofa to watch TV from, even tissue on the coffee table, instructions for the appliciances, cleaning products and safe... When I say they have thought of Everything I meant it! It like home from home.
The Rooms were comfortable, beds were a great size and so comfortable, very clean and fresh linens, big bathroom, good view from the floor we stayed on, breakfast was buffet style but well thought out and food fresh and hot, staff attendance was good ratio and they were attentive and very cheerful and helpful, also parking was a good price as well.
I was also impressed with the fact of small details like a 24hr pantry shop which perfect for family guests, quieter seating/dining area for guests who don't have children, children area, radio on for a cheerful breakfast experience.
Lots of little details and extras is what made our stay a good one, we will definitely use the hotel again, 1 million percent I'd recommend this hotel to others as well, keep doing what you do because your smashing it! And all at a good fair price as well!! A must try!

FFranfromivegillCannot best the location!!!! Trolley push out of the doors and into the hotel ( or vice versa). No worry about taxi or transfer. Restaurant OK but suffers from the same ailment of so many…. Blinking awful coffee!!!! Also those awful mugs …. I have said before….. I have taken to bringing my own decent mug to drink out of.
I ate in the bar last time - similar menu ( same prices) but no booking of a table required. Just got to put up with TV with constant noise or sport……
They let me leave my luggage while I drop off or pick up a hire car…. About 10 minutes walk away.
Always my first choice.

Er lief über einen Pavillonskerb, der seinen Kopf schneidete.
Das Rezeptionpersonal war sehr hilfreich bei der Reinigung der Schnittstellen und der Bereitstellung von Pflastern.

GGastnutzerWe checked in and checked straight back out again after going into the room. The room was tiny definitely not suitable for more than 1 person. The ”double” bed was pushed right up against a wall and wasn't much bigger than a single bed. Room was dusty all over. The bathroom was bigger than the actual room although you couldn't actually sit on the toilet properly as the sink cabinet was right next to the toilet. The room stank of food as I'm guessing was above the kitchen as the big fans were next to the window. Couldn't open the window as the smell of food was then even worse so the room stank like burger grease. Room was really hot as the radiator was turned on however couldn't turn it off and opening the window wasn't an option either. Reception area is really nicely presented but definitely not a reflection on the rooms which are poor to say the least. Ended up booking into a second hotel round the corner which is amazing complete opposite end of the scale in comparison to the first. Unfortunately meant we've ended up paying for 2 hotels just for 1 night but lesson learnt.

AAnonymer BenutzerThe hotel was absolutely amazing. The room was very clean and the breakfast was superb. The location was very good. We were very satisfied with everything. One thing that we need to point out was the politeness of one of the receptionists at the hotel. We were not treated politely, which was disappointing considering the standard of the hotel. But everything was nice. I suppose it wasn't directly related to the hotel, but it was just that specific staff member that did not not really meet the standard of an IHG hotel.

GGastnutzerWe just stayed over night before an early flight next morning.Rooms are quite tired could do with a refurb.Food is good and bar has cheap drinks till 7 pm ,unfortunately although the bed was comfy the pillows were like sleeping on a boulder,they had no others to offer us,would still stay for the convenience.

GGastnutzerIm Hotel für eine Nacht Geschäftsreise übernachten. Wenn Sie nach etwas mit einem kleinen Charakter suchen, ist dies ein toller Ort zu bleiben. Central Newcastle , direkt neben der zentralen Bahnhof und Metro-Eingang, ein wenig Eleganz. Ein schöner Eingangshaus ( mit einem wunderschönen Weihnachtsbaum dekoriert) mit großen Kerzen und hilfsbereitem Personal bei der Eincheckung. Das Finden meines Zimmers war ein wenig von Abenteuer , aber Teil des Charme eines historischen Gebäudes .
Mein Zimmer war sauber , ruhig , mini-Kühlschrank , Kettle und Tee/Kaffee , TV , überraschend gutes Badezimmer und komfortables Bett.
Ich hatte am Morgen ein gutes englisches Frühstück, und wieder waren die Mitarbeiter schön.
Ich dachte , es war sehr gut , und ich würde nochmal bleiben .
