Einen Abend - Bankurlaub Sonntag in einem Club Doppelzimmer mit vollen englischen Frühstücksbuffet und einem Trinkgutschein. Wir blieben in Zimmer 511, das etwas geräumiger erscheint als andere Zimmer dieser Art, aber nur teilweise gesehen, weil am Ende des Korridors. Bei der Buchung hatten wir gebeten, zusätzliche Pfeile für das Bett zu haben und das wurde für unsere Ankunft gemacht. Ein sehr guter Übernachtung in einem Hotel gelegen in der einfachen Spazierweite von Bars und Restaurants auf der Queibenseite. Wir werden ein zurückkehrender Gast sein.

This was a fabulous stay All Staff are a credit to the hotel, with spacious rooms, cleanliness top notch, everything you could need and require in your room, so many items that you would not even realise you would need was in the room, I liked the fact had a small functioning kitchen with hob and dishwasher, a recliner sofa to watch TV from, even tissue on the coffee table, instructions for the appliciances, cleaning products and safe... When I say they have thought of Everything I meant it! It like home from home. The Rooms were comfortable, beds were a great size and so comfortable, very clean and fresh linens, big bathroom, good view from the floor we stayed on, breakfast was buffet style but well thought out and food fresh and hot, staff attendance was good ratio and they were attentive and very cheerful and helpful, also parking was a good price as well. I was also impressed with the fact of small details like a 24hr pantry shop which perfect for family guests, quieter seating/dining area for guests who don't have children, children area, radio on for a cheerful breakfast experience. Lots of little details and extras is what made our stay a good one, we will definitely use the hotel again, 1 million percent I'd recommend this hotel to others as well, keep doing what you do because your smashing it! And all at a good fair price as well!! A must try!

Staff on front desk was absolutely lovely, was able to check us in early. Gym was good size, pool was busy as they also sell day passes I think but still plenty space. Room was clean along with the whole hotel. Only complaint was that breakfast was astronomical (£20pp) especially for Newcastle, I would recommend taking the short walk into town for breakfast instead

Im Hotel für eine Nacht Geschäftsreise übernachten. Wenn Sie nach etwas mit einem kleinen Charakter suchen, ist dies ein toller Ort zu bleiben. Central Newcastle , direkt neben der zentralen Bahnhof und Metro-Eingang, ein wenig Eleganz. Ein schöner Eingangshaus ( mit einem wunderschönen Weihnachtsbaum dekoriert) mit großen Kerzen und hilfsbereitem Personal bei der Eincheckung. Das Finden meines Zimmers war ein wenig von Abenteuer , aber Teil des Charme eines historischen Gebäudes . Mein Zimmer war sauber , ruhig , mini-Kühlschrank , Kettle und Tee/Kaffee , TV , überraschend gutes Badezimmer und komfortables Bett. Ich hatte am Morgen ein gutes englisches Frühstück, und wieder waren die Mitarbeiter schön. Ich dachte , es war sehr gut , und ich würde nochmal bleiben .

Sehr gut Hotel, kann es nicht fehlen außer,das Restaurant Lebensmittel ist zu preis.die Qualität und Portion Größen kaum eine Auswahl begrenzt Menü. Menü braucht Updates und nicht so gründlich.on.prices. G Lansing.

Good experience at Sandman Newcastle, location is perfect which is just above the Metro station St James, easy to go around the city, also in a walking distance to the monument easy access to shopping area and many restaurants, staff members are friendly and helpful. Nice restaurant and supermarket in the neighbourhood. The room even equipped with oven and fridge . Recommended strongly

This hotel is very close to the train station so the guests can just walk across the street to take the train. The hotel room is nice and big and clean. So, it’s very good for the guest who need to take the train in the early morning or late evening. There’re also many restaurants near the hotel. Also the metro station is just a few steps from the hotel. So the guest can get around the city using the underground metro conveniently.

Great hotel the rooms are good and service is great. We did have a bit of an issue with not having a physical card with us but staff were super helpful and we were able to solve this and pay the deposit.

Location was good. Easy check in. No windows got suffocated at night. Too noisy in the corridors at night woke up couple of times felt like some knocking on the door but no one was there. Morning lift was of malodour.
