Service has remained consistently high at this property. Room is extremely comfortable and demonstrates a residential feeling. Will be back.
I’ve been visiting New York for the past 20 years and this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. The service is wonderful! Rooms have a good size (which is odd in NY).

We loved our stay! The stay was exceptional. Just above and beyond. They were amazing. The hotel is beautiful, and we had a wonderful experience with room service. It’s fast! The rooms are beautiful but need a few updates. There are no charging ports by the bed, and the plugs by the bed didn’t work for our chargers for some reason. We had to charge them at the desk area. Although lovely and clean, the rooms need a little tech update to compete with other 5 star hotels in the area.

I recently stayed at the Peninsula Hotel, expecting a luxurious experience given the steep price of $1,500 per night. However, my expectations were met with disappointment due to several issues that should not occur at such a premium establishment. Firstly, various facilities within the room appeared outdated, which was surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the absence of wine glasses was a noticeable oversight, considering the room's price point. I also encountered a broken drawer, which speaks to a lack of proper maintenance. More concerning was the cleanliness - the sofa was visibly dirty, and the bathroom did not meet the standard of cleanliness one would expect from a high-end hotel. These issues collectively marred what could have been an otherwise enjoyable stay. Will never book again.

Wasn't as great as I had remembered a year ago.
Pro side: great location and some great staff including the bellmen.
Cons: Rooms a little small. Staff was hit or miss. Room service screwed up the same order twice. Rooms are getting a bit dated. Didn't have the candy bar this time which my kids loved.

Absolutely the best in service and accommodations in NYC. All around great personalized service from Concierge to front desk to food & beverage! My wife and I celebrated our anniversary for a couple days and the The Peninsula delivered in a big way!
