Wouldn't book again. Paid for balcony, 1st night was not given because " sold out" but no refund could be given. Next sent to a room that had no working shower. Only 1 attendant helpful. Walking distance from Burbon street. But wouldn't book again.

Maison Dupuy is a lovely hotel and only 2 blocks from Bourbon Street. I like Fahy's Irish Pub, just kitty-corner. My balcony room was nice and clean, and a good size. I shared the balcony with one room on each side. A big trash bag and wet towels sat on the balcony 4 days. It was fun to hear and see the clip-clop of a mule pulling a cart every few hours! When I checked in, in January, the front desk said my reservation was in September. I had confirmed the reservation 36 hours earlier. I imagine it's the fault of *******. The front desk gal was a gem and sorted it all out; thanks, ma'am! I expect to stay at Maison Dupuy on every trip to NOLA. Good job, staff.

I marked it down on cleanliness not because it wasn’t clean but it really needs to be renovated . That not something the cleaning staff can do. The desk staff were very friendly and worked hard to accommodate the needs of the guest.

This has been our favorite place to stay in New Orleans but I wouldn’t stay there again. It’s really run down and has lost its charm.

Husband and I couldn't of asked for a more perfect place to stay. The staff was kind,friendly, and knowledgeable. We would like to thank the staff at the Maison Dupuy for having us. We'll most definitely be staying there the next time we're in New Orleans.

Great location. The room was decent, beds comfortable but two double beds and only one side table between with one light was a negative. Really needs three sidetables. I was sleeping on the outside so had to put stuff on the floor and had barely adequate light to read.
The bar downstairs was great. Live music Thursday to Sunday with excellent bands. We went to the Spotted Cat and Preservation Hall which were great but the quality of the music here was equally good, and there was dancing too; one of the nights was a Lindy hop.
The reception staff were always friendly and helpful.
WiFi was very patchy and unreliable.
There were youngsters partying in the rooms on the Friday and Saturday nights. A little noisy but didn't bother me.
Shades of the Shining in the hotel corridor which was fun.

Our check in was easy. The entire staff was friendly from the valet to the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was nice and helpful. The location was perfect and very walkable to everything in the French Quarter.

I booked two rooms and both were very disappointing. The carpets are dirty. Maybe they can't be replaced but they can be washed. The bathrooms were old and broken down. The tub wouldn't drain and the floors were dingy. The mattress covers are ripped, and stained. Dressers are broken. It's unfortunate because the staff here is wonderful. This hotel is not in a quiet area so you will not get a good night's sleep. I have used ******* for many years and never had a bed stay in any of the Hotels they support. Not sure if I will use ******* again.

We booked this for 3 nights before a cruises departing from New Orleans and really enjoyed the hotel. The location was perfect - close enough to walk to everything, including the trolley stop. Far enough off of Bourbon Street that it was quiet. If I go to New Orleans again I would definitely stay here.
