The staff at the reception is amazing everyone is gentle and they helped us in many things. The room is okay, but needs to be more cleaned, there was a lot of dust and the small details are to be defined.
All these things are okay but we were very concerned about the breakfast. There was no buffet, the food was not plentiful , we didn’t have lot of choices but just (omelette toast, bread toast and sandwiches) black tea, coffee..that’s it. And it was not of a good quality.. I’m sorry about it. But in general is a good place to stay

ニューデリー駅の西方に広がるビッグバザールを街中にステイしながら味わいたいと、モンスーンで雨季となった7月時期、敢えバハールガンジ地区のホテルを選んだつもりだったが、初インドを体験する妻にとっては市中に溢れる猥雑さ喧騒ぶり得体の知れない声がけ接近、などなどが忌まわしいもだった様子、日々疲れて過酷な時間となったようだ。二度とここは嫌だとつぶやいていた。一方の私は何度目かの体験だったので冒険心でなんとか克服できた。都合８泊バハールガンジ地区にステイ。前半５泊を過ごしたGodwin Deluxが市中の喧騒を防ぐまともな部屋で酷暑から身を守る小型冷蔵庫もあり部屋の設備はまあまあリーズナブルだったが、後半３泊を過ごしたStaybook Hotel Nitya Maharanは設備も不十分、むろん冷蔵庫もなく、二度と泊まりたくないというのが本音。むしろStaybook Hotelチェーンの名前を信用したのが間違い。ネットで予約をする際の大きな問題だろう。実際には、主要道路に面しておらず裏道沿い、元々は商人宿であったとおぼしき風情である。そのため多くのスタッフは英語が使えず交渉に苦労を強いられた。空調リクエスト（ホテルフロントに電話で申し出ないと空調クーラーが動き出さないという信じがたい設備状況）やシャワーのお湯（これもホテルフロントに申し出ないと動き出さなかった）、毎日の部屋清掃、トイレットペーパー・バスタオル依頼などを交渉する際にもスマフォ翻訳機能を使って英語に変換する、という手間。私たちが交渉して得た部屋は４階だったが、すぐに冷蔵庫がないことを電話でフロントへ指摘すると、あいにくすべての部屋に冷蔵庫はない、と断られた。お湯シャワーもリクエストした際、ボイルしたお湯か？お茶を飲むのか？と何度も問われた。暑い季節なので、日頃お湯シャワーを使わないのか？さらに脇の階段を登るとドアもない屋上が広がり、スタッフはそこにマットを敷いて寝泊まりしていた。滞在二日め、午前に外出する際、室内セキュリティが心配なので鍵を持参したままでたが、夕刻部屋へ戻っても室内清掃と汗をかいたシーツ交換がなされていなかった。フロントへクレームを伝えると、外出時に鍵をフロントへ預けなかったからだ、と何食わぬ顔をして返答された。二人で信じがたいと憤慨したものの、バスタオル交換やトイレットペーパー補充を願い出て気持ちを収めた。最終日の明け方、フロントたちに見送られて、予約タクシーに荷物を乗せインディラガンジー空港へ向かった。車は小型車だったが、ネパールから出稼ぎに来たという運転手の流暢な英語を聞いてホッとした。ネパールで使い残したルピーをチップに加えて渡し無事に空港へ到着した。次回、ニューデリー滞在時にバハールガンジ地区へ再訪するかどうか、思案のしどころだと思う。

This hotel does not match the appearance shown in the photos. We chose it for a brief stopover before a five-day tour from Delhi, seeking an affordable option, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The property is dilapidated and in need of significant renovation. Its location down an alley made us feel uneasy, as it is situated in an uninviting part of town. Our tour guide and driver had difficulty locating us on the morning of our tour because they had never encountered this hotel before; it was surprising that we found a place like this to stay at all. Inside the rooms, the windows were rotting at the edges, and the furniture was in similar disrepair. The sheets appeared unclean, and the toilet seat was loose while the shower showed signs of mold. Additionally, the bath towel I received had a hole in it (see picture). I would strongly recommend avoiding this hotel altogether.

This hotel is a disaster - seriously, don’t be fooled by the pictures on the website. The door handle was broken, the bathroom was in terrible shape, and the room service was a joke. If you think about ordering food, forget it; it takes forever to arrive. Plus, there’s no parking available. And to top it all off, the location is just the worst.

Booked accommodation through booking site and prepaid directly to the hotel for Oct 23 - 26 2024. We made this booking based on photos and reviews on the booking site as well as video clips on youtube. Arrived a day earlier on 22 Oct. We were absolutely shocked how the pictures on the booking sites and the youtube clip were a total misrepresentation of what was actually there. The hotel is a dump. We cancelled the booking immediately and booked another hotel. It was well within the period when we could cancel for free. To date, which is now 2 months later, and in spite of numerous whatsapp messages being sent , the owners are refusing to give us the refund.
