Judy House Cottages and Rooms

Judy House Negril was a fantastic experience, highly recommended. All the cottages are beautifully decorated and are very comfortable, also the common areas. Sue, the owner, is very friendly and always willing to help with anything, also the staff there when I visited, Martel and Misha. The place is a haven of peace with plenty of spaces to socialise and also to be on your own if you want to. The only downside would be that it is located a bit far from the beach, the town, or the cliffs, so you need to work your legs or rely on taxis. But its location up in the hill surrounded by lush vegetation and peace and quiet really make up for it.

Judy’s house is a magical place! I don’t even have the words to describe the beautiful garden that surrounds it! If you're looking for a quiet, natural, and heaven-like spot to reset and relax, this is the perfect place for you! The room is ideal for a backpacker. At night, I slept very well because the hostel is located on a small hill where there’s always a gentle and pleasant breeze. There’s plenty of space to cook, and the water in the bathroom is always warm! I also have to say that Sue has managed to create such a lovely atmosphere, making it so easy to meet new people! I met some amazing people there, and since I was travelling alone, it made the experience even better! Her staff is incredible! The two housekeepers are lovely, and I could listen to Martel’s (the security guy) funny stories for hours. Sue is a wonderful woman, and a place like this could only come from a kind soul like hers!

This is always my go to place to stay in Negril. It's especially great if you're travelling solo. Very private and comfortable place to read or relax. You can also meet and hang out with other travellers in the common area. Always a good vibe by the hammock! The staff is super helpful as well. Easily the best value in Negril.

Although it provided me with a low cost place to stay for my short visit. The Judy House could do a few things to help make the property more satisfying. I stayed in the "Backpacker's Hostel." But once I got use to my surroundings and accommodations. My stay was alright. (review on YouTube at: Hobo on the Go)

Cozy place, I definetly will go back But even with the A/C there are still mosquitos. Need mosquito nets for the beds in the big rooms. Appart from that, the sevice is good, location as well. Plenty of outdoor space in my room and massive ensuite bathroom. Very happy .
