Negril Palms

We stayed 3 nights. Our last night/day we had no hot water. When we did have hot water, there was not much water pressure. They do not provide any shampoo. You get a small bar of soap only. No coffee maker in room. Very limited beach chairs. They do not have security so the dealers used the beach chairs and hounded the guests to buy their crap. Anyone could walk up into the resort from the main front entrance or the beach entrance. And the dealers did. They would also use the bathrooms. We did not feel safe here. Would not recommend or return to this property. We did not try the food as the menu was not appealing to us. Staff often hung out in the dining area smoking. Construction was going on, but that didn’t bother us.

When we arrived to our room , the safe was jammed and would not open. The floors in the room were dirty. We spoke with the office and she arranged for us to upgrade to a deluxe room which is what we have always purchased 2 times prior. The floor in the new room was better but was dirty under the bed , which we could live with until the next day. There are ants in the bathroom but since their windows are open and have only shutters for privacy, we expected to see some sort of critter . We can live with that ! The office staff are very attentive to our needs and respond immediately with our requests. We were told they did not have hot water since the prior day BUT were working on it. It was fixed by that evening. There was a guest there that thought everyone wanted to listen to their music and it played all day and night until someone asked them to shut it off around 9:30pm. We asked the next day for the office to ask them to keep it down all the time as it was rude and their music taste was obnoxious to us and they complied. There is a gate that is manned but they still allow some locals to use the beach chairs which is a bit annoying as there are only so many to go around. They do have a lot. They come super early and take the best seats. They didn’t appear to spend any money at the bar or restaurant. The property is gated for a reason and that is to keep out non- quests ! Overall , we love this place and have come to know the bartender, Legend and other staff

Filthy dirty dingy property water didnt work in the sink broken toilet broken shelf in the wardrobe tiny pool and was even asked to pay for sun lounger which i may add were not fit for use i told them no way hence i checked out after 2 nights made me feel dirty

The receptionist was very nice and welcoming the environment was clean and quiet. I enjoyed. going to the beach. The only suggestion I would make is that mats be placed on the floor in the room.

We checked in on Sunday 12/03, had low pressure. Woke up Monday to water at all. I went front desk, said the look into. Offered another room, pressure low on ground floor what would it be upstairs. Rather than take chance happening again we changed resorts. No being to shower that’s a big issue

I am still up late there is loud music playing , I spoke to the guests more than two times and still there is loud music . I moved twice the first room the shower was nit working properly, the second room the tv and toilet did not work . Finally I got a new from the noise is ridiculous and the refrigerator does not work .

I love everything, the seclusion,privacy quietness .the pool was fantastic and the beach i can live on the beach si clean. I've been coning here for a long time .

staff was good, but two years in a row the hot water didn't work, most of the time.

Had a hard time getting a room that didn't have one of the following issues: Shower head needed replacing, no hot water, TV not working, poor lighting, poor sheet condition, sink faucet not correctly placed, noise from passerbys, dingy towels, torn mattress. Also no phones in the room. There should always be a phone to call front desk in case of emergency. Front desk did not work overnight. Frozen drinks were not high quality.
