We traveled to this place with our infant with the only expectation of getting a pyramids view and considering the heat, flexibility to be very close to the pyramids at Giza. The location is one of the best in the vicinity, and gives a direct view of the Sphinx. We were welcomed by warm staff (Duniya) and greeted to the terrace wherein the pyramids and the sphinx were lit at night. It was a dusty evening, but the overall atmosphere was great. The incident that has set this stay apart from the others was a personal episode. The next day we chose to visit the major locations of Cairo side like the NMEC and Khan-al-Khalili, and some shopping. En route, my wife lost her phone and we were extremely stressed out in the evening, with all her contacts and memories on the phone. This is the instance when the hospitality of the hotel came into picture. Nearly everyone on the reception staff was aware of the situation, and they started going out of their way to help her. Be it calling the taxi at night and asking (more like instructing) to do whatever it takes to find the phone, to go at each and every place in Cairo and Giza we had been. Language is a constraint, and at each and every instant we wanted a person of trust to translate Arabic to English for us, and in addition, to provide guidance. Ashour at the reception constantly kept calling on my phone to ask updates. They even arranged for a late breakfast for us. To cut the story, we did FIND the phone and there was a happy story in the end. I have to place emphasis on the fact, that Cairo and Egypt functions on a different set of principles that involves a lot of over selling. If we can separate that emotion, and trust on such people who are really willing to help (they still might want to sell you a package ;)), sets the experience apart. They even treated our young kid with a friendship band. The restaurant food quality could be improved, but please remember, first and foremost its a tourist place with a very high footfall. I would like to visit Cairo again, and without a beat stay at this place. Thanks Duniya and Ashour for us to make our stay a very memorable one.

You can't ask for a better location or a more accommodating team than at this bed and breakfast. A great view of the Pyramids (across the street). The breakfast was ok, but the view from the terrace is what it's all about. The room was fine. Overall a good value, but if you're looking for upscale amenities, keep looking. If you're looking for good location at great price and kind staff, this is the place.

Ich bin in den Sommerferien nach Ägypten zurückgekehrt und habe mich für dieses B&B mit hoher Bewertung entschieden. Jede Ecke ist voller altägyptischer Elemente. Insgesamt freue ich mich darauf und kann es wärmstens empfehlen. Der Standort befindet sich am Sphinx-Ticketbüro (es gibt zwei Ticketbüros im malerischen Gebiet der Pyramiden von Gizeh). Es gibt Souvenirläden, KFC, Pizza Hut und daneben ein altägyptisches Restaurant, Abu Shakra (wenn ich mich richtig erinnere). Es wird empfohlen, ein Balkonzimmer mit Blick auf die Pyramide zu buchen. Das Erlebnis ist großartig. Das Zimmer ist nicht groß, aber in Ägypten sehr sauber. Geeignet für zwei Personen, auch drei Personen finden Platz, oder Sie buchen ein größeres Zimmer. Freuen Sie sich nicht auf das Frühstück. Alles, was Sie essen können, sind Spiegeleier, gekochte Eier, Milch, Joghurt und Cornflakes. Die Milch, die wir mitbringen, ist sicher. The hotel is good and from the room and rooftop you have a beautiful view of the pyramids. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has an Arabic atmosphere. The room was spacious, clean and the air conditioning and refrigerator worked well. In the bathroom everything worked, only the finishing is not so neat. The windows do not close completely, so you can hear noise from the street (barking dogs, horses passing by), so bring earplugs! Breakfast is great. Hassan and the other waiters brought a very extensive Arabic breakfast that was delicious. And all with a view of the pyramid! We loved the location. It is only a few minutes walk to the entrance of the Giza plateau. We also used the transfer service from the airport to the hotel and back. They arrived on time.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel 6 notti con mezza pensione io, mio marito e mia figlia di 9 anni. Già da subito l'hotel e Tamer, che ci ha accolto (l'unico che parla italiano e inglese), ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Per quello che può offrire questa città l'hotel è abbastanza sopra la media. Buon cibo, pulizia e confort in generale all'interno dell'hotel. La zona è quello che è, molto povera e sporca, ma com'è d'altronde tutto il resto della città e di queste zone... Ma una volta dentro l'hotel è tutto ok per quanto riguarda pulizia e altri servizi. Wi fi gratuito. Saletta ristorante e una bellissima terrazza vista piramidi dove bere thè, fare colazione o cena. Il personale tutto cordialissimo e sempre disponibile. Organizzano anche gite ovunque sempre con guida e autista, anche se sono un po' più care rispetto a quelle trovate su TripAdvisor. Nel complesso il prezzo dell'hotel invece è stato molto buono considerando anche la mezza pensione. Se dovessi tornare al Cairo ci tornerei sicuramente. Grazie a tutti voi ☺️

The experience in the hotel has been amazing!! We received an incredible service from everyone but specially from Manna who has been a star in everything. He gave us an upgrade, we had amazing views on the first line just in front of the pyramids, with a balcony and the room was big and clean. We had problems with our tour booked with another agency and he resolved everything from his amazing agency and we enjoyed the day around the best places in Cairo historical areas. We received the best service and we will be forever grateful. We fully recommend this experience. The price of the room with breakfast included, the views and the tour were great.
