Hotel Mar Bravo

We had an amazing one-night stay at this hotel. The location is superb, and the staff truly made our experience unforgettable. We were warmly welcomed by Iris, who assisted us with both check-in and check-out. Her positive attitude, genuine smile, and attention to detail made us feel right at home. She truly anticipated our needs and delivered 5-star service from start to finish. Breakfast was excellent, with a great variety and fresh, high-quality options. A special highlight was the selection of fresh fruits, muesli, and yoghurts – a big plus for health-conscious guests. We also enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the hotel restaurant. The food was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Huge thanks to the entire culinary team for their work and to Iris again for helping make our stay so special. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed an ocean view room which was idyllic. The room appeared to be recently renovated.It was very nicely done and although it was small, it fit our needs very well. It was modern and very clean. The hotel staff was helpful and gracious, and they even prepared a sandwich, fruit, and yoghurt drink snack for us to take with us because we had to leave well before the breakfast was served. We loved Nazaré , and hope to return one day. If so, we would definitely stay at the Mar Bravo !

This hotel is in the perfect location. From our little balcony we could see one of the main squares as well as the ocean! The beach is huge and beautiful. Our room was super clean and not large but had everything needed. We even had a kettle and tea/coffee available. The breakfast was fantastic in the beautiful restaurant which has large windows overlooking the ocean (across the road). The desk staff were super helpful and pleasant. You are in the heart of the tourist part of town so close to restaurants, shops and the funicular that takes you up to the upper part of the town. We happened to be there during Carnival so it was pretty raucous - but we enjoyed sitting on our balcony of the third floor watching the silly festivities. The accessibility to the beach was excellent and the views were incredible.

Wonderful location from beach and city center. Staff was very kind and held our bags before our check- in time. We were there off season and the parking was a bit tight. The garage is 5 blocks away so best to drop bags off and then go to park. Breakfast was standard.

We picked the Hotel Mar Bravo for its location and it was a really good choice. It's nice that it's at the end of the beach, especially since the weekend we were there (All Saints Weekend, and the last real holiday weekend of the season) was very, very crowded - it was good to be near the end and away from most of the crowds walking along the beachfront. The hotel itself is lovely - rooms are newly redone and clean, with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. My room had a view of the side street, the funicular up to the lighthouse, and the beach itself (see photos) - very nice. Breakfast was also good - a full assortment of pastries, eggs, toast, cereals, etc., as well as coffee, tea and juices. We especially loved that the hotel has free beach chairs and towels to lend. Even though it was too cold to go in the water, we were able to borrow chairs and towels and enjoy sitting on the beach for the morning. They also have a rack of donated books, in case you want something to read. Just a lovely, charming beach hotel. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Great location on the beach and Square. Staff very helpful. I recommend room 302. Restaurant has great service and superior seafood. Dino was a friendly waiter work tirelessly to provide great service. Breakfast was a full spread of fruit, pastries, eggs and bacon.
