3-Sterne-Hotels in Nassau

Wir waren für zwei Tage in diesem Hotel. Anlage ist ganz süß mit den kleinen bunten Häuschen. Hatten ein zwei Doppelzimmer mit Durchgangstür. Zimmer waren sauber und ok aber nichts besonderes und für den Preis pro Nacht ca. um die 300 Euro zu teuer. Um die Insel zu erkunden aber ok. Pool sah nicht besonders toll aus dafür ist der Strand und das Restaurant Blue Sail top. Frühstück gibt es neben dem Pool in einem kleinen Wagen und von einer Person geführt wird. Es gibt Pancakes, Eier, Waffeln. Leider war die Wartezeit bei uns 25 Minuten, obwohl nicht viel los war und es wurde uns geraten lieber in ein nahe gelegenes Cafe zu gehen. Das Personal an der Rezeption war äußerst langsam und unfreundlich. Wir haben versucht einen privaten Bootstrip zu buchen und dabei richtig abgezockt. Dies haben wir während der Fahrt zum Hafen erfahren als der Fahrer meinte die Rezeptionistin würde eine hohe Komission für die Vermittlung bekommen. Und wir haben uns schon gewundert warum der Preis derart vom Prospekt abweicht. Auf Nachfrage bei der Rezeptionistin haben wir nur eine ausweichende und unfreundliche Antwort bekommen und auf einmal war sie nicht mehr aufzufinden. Den Trip haben wir dann gecancelt. So etwas ist einfach unakzeptabel und das Hotel sollte sein Personal besser überwachen und schulen. Allgemein sind uns die unfreundlichen Bewohner der Insel aufgefallen, die nur darauf warten Touristen abzuzocken und ihren Vorteil daraus ziehen wollen.

the experience was not really good, the food was so so, not good not bad , the costumer was bad i called 3 times the first night to asked them to put the heat up for me i was really cold they said they will sent someone to fixed it they never showed up bref !! until i went myself downstairs to go get a blanket i was so mad . The only thing that i really enjoyed it’s the kindness from the dining room attendant.

The Holiday Inn Express is perfect for people who want a clean and comfortable accommodation without staying at an ”all-inclusive” resort. The Bahamian culture and the Nassau area are so beautiful, and it would be a shame to lock yourself into a sealed resort where you don't really interact with locals. Service here was fantastic -- my air conditioner was misbehaving a bit on the first day, and I asked someone to come take a look, and instead they upgraded me to a larger room to make sure they had time to look at the a/c and that I didn't spend a moment being uncomfortable, which was above and beyond my expectations. They have a really tasty hot breakfast, and their snack selection, available 24 hours a day to be picked up at reception and billed to your room, is broad and includes even full microwave meals (for when you're hungry at 3am on an island with very to no overnight food places available). The prices are very, very reasonable, as well -- after snacking pretty consistently throughout my seven-day stay, I expected my snack and beer bill to get a little crazy, but it turned out to be about $20 after I ate and drank well over $20 worth of stuff. It's easy to walk to downtown and shop, book tours, etc. from here, and the beach is right across the street. The Fish Fry at Arawak Cay is a 5-10 minute walk away as well. Most of what I wanted to see and do was an easy commute on foot, and cabs to and from the hotel were reasonably priced, when I was way too tired. Plus, the #10 city bus runs right past it. I would definitely recommend this place to travelers who are pretty independent in a new location, but also like comfort and great service. It was the perfect balance for me.

Insgesamt ist es keine 2k wert, aber die Hotels auf der Insel sind teuer, das Einchecken ist sehr langsam, die Effizienz der Einheimischen ist zu gering, die Landschaft ist durchschnittlich, weil man von unten einen schöneren Meerblick hat, der Pool ist ein bisschen? alt, nicht zu groß. Zum Service hat das Hotel glücklicherweise geholfen, die Decke zu holen. Die Nachbarschaft ist recht lebhaft und die Lage ist gut. Das Bild ist für Ihre Referenz. Es ist ein Zimmer mit Meerblick. Die Außenansicht ist besser als die eines Hotels. Das Telefon hat einen kleinen Filter.

This was our 4th trip here and we finally stayed in the Diamond room!!! It was a great stay and we paid for a late check out to make it last as long as we could. The hotel is truly impressive! I feel like we are staying in a castle. When we show pictures to our friends they can’t believe it! I love the balcony, pool, the walk down to Sunsets for dinner, the tall ceilings, the beautiful breakfast room, the concept of “gem stones” for rooms, the rides to and from the airport,..I could go on and on. Oceans West will always be our resting spot before and after our out-island trips. The staff is outstanding, helpful and professional. We’ve become acquainted with them since we come every year. We live knowing we have a safe, luxurious place to stay on New Providence, Bahamas!

Wir begannen und endeten unsere Reise hier und es hat sich als eine tolle Wahl für beide erwiesen. Es ist so nah am Flughafen, dass wir eine Stunde nach der Landung im schönen Meer waren. Wir genossen auch den Pool, ein paar Bier und ein einfaches erstes Abendessen. Preise sind mehr als fair. Die Zimmer sind ein wenig datiert, sicher, aber ohne Spott sauber, ruhig und komfortabel. Frühstück setzt uns für unser Abenteuer am nächsten Tag nach Exuma. Es war auch der perfekte Ort, um auf unserem letzten Tag vor unserem Übernachtflug zu Hause zu kühlen. Das Personal war alle wunderbar und machte uns so herzlich willkommen. Schöne Gastfreundschaft

The owner is an amazing woman. She was very helpful, easy to reach, and accommodating. She responded to questions quickly which was impressive as we made initial inquiries four time zones away. While there she also responded to messages quickly. The apartment had everything we needed including a full-sized refrigerator, gas stove, and a microwave. We even had a private outdoor area. We were there comfortably for a week. The location was very nice as well. We didn't have to drive far to have all of our needs met. What was interesting is that by contacting her directly we got a better price than going through typical travel search engines.
